We were excited for a small getaway with our daughter, a little relaxing, swim time etc. The hotel is clean and rooms immaculate... But the front desk needs some training. Swimming is by signup only but at check-in that was not communicated. Once we inquired on the swimming we were told to sign up for 1 hr time slots. We signed up for a morning slot, but when we arrived there was someone there. We went to the desk and were informed they have Saturday morning swim lessons from 9:30-noon and we should have never been offered the 9 am slot. This is a prime time for hotel guests to use faculties, especially when most check out by noon. When we asked for a noon swim time, it was filled and were given a 1 pm slot "with extended checkout." Since we're platinum level members I then asked for the platinum 4 pm check out. I was informed I could have no later than 3. The hotel was more than half empty with suites gone begging we asked for a complimentary upgrade due to platinum level. We were told no suites were available, yet they were available online for purchase throughout our stay. The breakfast was lovely and the service was speedy. Issues with the espresso machine were addressed. Work on communication, service to members, and service to your guests vs outside swim lessons.

This Marriott is a budget experience, but that doesn't mean it's a bad one. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, the rooms are simple but well appointed, and there are nice amenities in both the pool and weight room. The spaces have always been clean, even if some of the finishes are a bit worn. As a business traveler here - I have no complaints and would recommend it to others. My only knock is the selection at the complimentary breakfast - it's sparce at best and I wish there were more options. Otherwise- it's good.

I've stayed here many times over the years. It used to be a good spot. Each time we come, every aspect is worse the the time before. This facility is lacking basic upkeep, maintaince and the cleanliness is superficial. I hope management steps in as this property has great potential.

Love this place. Clean and new hotel located in Spring Valley Marketplace behind Target. Very convenient location. Nice gym, heated indoor pool. I stayed in the 1 bedroom suite which was a little smaller than I expected. Free breakfast with a order to make meals. Free bike rentals. Overall, very pleased. Would come back here again.

Nice newer style. Loved water filers in the room. Loved the local area, right near lots of kosher options. Smelled kinda odd, like cleaners and incense maybe in the main areas. Was odd but fine in the room. Pool closes early and opens late so didn't get a chance to use. Nice workout area, bigger than usual.

Fantastic, friendly service. Clean, modern facilities. Absolutely 💯 positive stay. Even with the sounds of the frequent commuter trains trundling by, the place must be really well insulated, because the noise was never intolerable or intrusive. Terrific value. 👌

I love this hotel and this is always my go to when staying near White Plains / Clarkstown. The hotel is right off of the highway, rooms are always clean and the staff has always been warm and welcoming. The hotel has great amenities right on site with a nice gym, spacious lobby area a well maintained pool too.

Close to train tracks and at night often hear noises from the train. Breakfast was okay. The espresso machine broke several times while I stayed there for 10 days. The room was nice and clean.

We had a fire that happened in our building and we stayed for 3 months at Element. The staffs were very friendly, very professional, always making sure that our stay was comfortable. We stayed in a beautiful suite. We enjoyed all amenities there. I would definitely comeback again. I referred so many of friends and they shared the same experience as us.

Our overall experience was satisfactory. The rooms were clean, roomy, and comfortable. Very pet friendly. Morning breakfast was good! It was nice to have real eggs with my toast. The 24 hr coffee bar is perfect for those late night cup cravings but if you're lactose intolerant (like me) or have a milk allergy, it's not for you. My ONLY gripe is that someone in the hotel was smoking weed and the smell permeated my room. Look, I appreciate the fact it's legalized but man, I had kids sleeping in the beds next to the vent it was coming from. Just like I don't want to be surrounded by cigarette smoke, I also don't want to smell weed all night and into the day.

We were pleasantly surprised at the value for the money. I'm guessing it's because the hotel is sequestered (almost hidden) behind a large mall. Our room was large, clean, bright and comfortable (well, the bed was a 4 out of 5). The one odd thing was the placement/height of the furnishings. This we assume is because the space was also meant to be accessible to someone in a wheelchair. The staff was friendly and gave great directions to potential dinner places. Breakfast the next day was delicious). Give them a try!

Definitely my favorite place to stay in the area. I tend to arrive later for my overnights there, and the two individuals (varies on night) who work there at night are both awesome. Kind gentlemen who are always willing to ensure everything is perfectly comfortable, they remember and greet me, and also have helped me with the little annoying things (like forgetting my toothpaste and hooking it up), reminders on breakfast times, coffee machine options, etc. The hotel itself is clean, spacious, comfy, and safe. More modern feel, and despite being a bit more pricey than the neighboring places, there is a reason you realize when you arrive.

The hotel billed my credit card $194.61 on a prepaid purchase weeks prior, my flight was cancelled, I was told I would be refunded because they understood my situation. Weeks later, they changed their mind and said I missed it by one day and didn’t want to hear my reasonings, not to mention, I have ambassador status for lifetime with Marriott.

Overall very nice stay. Been here several times already, with the family and by myself. Staff is very nice and accommodating.... I did have a stay where there was a VERY large family (or extended family) that were on the noisy side. They seem to stay here for lengthy periods of time. But it seems the hotel is dealing with the issue.

Very nice facility. The room was large and spacious with a full kitchen. It was actually a suite. Nice ambiance with fire pits in the courtyard. Very friendly service with attentive staff. Made to order breakfast was a pleasant surprise as was the espresso machine. The pictures were accurate for the hotel.

We just had a wonderful experience with customer service at the front desk from Carl. We had to make a few changes to our reservations and had a number of questions about logistics and Carl was calm, patient, kind, and thorough with his customer service. It was super refreshing and made us want to use this hotel again in the future! Thanks, Carl!

Room was great, clean and comfortable with a kitchenette. Exercise room/pool were fine. Breakfast was pretty minimal; only coffee/tea for beverages. Signage could use some improvement to aim visitors to the front door.

Frequent trips from myrtle beach to New England brings us through this area for an overnight stop. From now on THIS is the hotel we'll be staying at. Spacious clean room and bathroom (with products) and a surprisingly good sized kitchenette, 2 beds and sofa. Best thing is the MADE-TO-ORDERhot breakfast. Today's menu was any combination of omelets, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage and Avocado Toast!! This has now become our GoTo hotel! We'll Done!

Excellent experience at this Marriott hotel for a one night stay with my family. Booked this hotel based on location to travel plans day of and day after. I dealt with Rohit almost the whole time so shoutout to his great service. - Free outdoor parking had plenty of spaces even late at night. FYI- keycard works on doors facing rear parking next to electric car charging stations. - Checked in at around 3pm and was quick (maybe 5 min). I tried using mobile checkin, but it only allows one hr checkin ahead of time and I just arrived so didn’t want to wait. Next time I’ll know. - After check-in (pre-requisite) I booked an hour for the pool. This “inconvenience” of needing to book turned out to be great as it was like a private pool for us. There is a changing and shower room. I don’t think the hot water was working so we just used the pool towels to dry and went to hotel room to shower. Pool is about 4’8” on deep end. - After check-in, we came down to get some free coffee and tea and also check out the amenities. As we were planning to use sofa bed, we asked for extra linens (didnt need a pillow as had extras), and shower towels as more people than towels. Rohit was able to ask his colleague who provided us on the spot service in a few minutes to take up to room. - Didn’t use fitness rm, but a few people were there and they had a water cooler. - Room was clean and had everything we needed including safe, wifi, adjustable AC temp, enough electric outlet ports for many devices. The door bolt was a little wonky (happenned twice) where I had to twist the inside door knob down and then up while holding the bolt in to close the door. - Free breakfast was good. They have a “chef” who handled the hot food choices like avocado toast, sausage patti, egg omelet. They also have different tyes of milk for the cereal options, bagels, croissant, bread, toaster, apple/banana, juice options, yogurt and prepackaged danish and muffin options. They allowed me to bring up some food for late risers

Terrible terrible customer service . All three staff watched as this huge wood surface flipped over and fell after my client put minimal pressure on it from leaning on it and she fell . All three of them watched and turned back around. No one asked if my client was okay as she was on the floor . They argued with me and told me that they will fall in you lean on them? They are lucky I don’t sue them. Do not go to this trash hotel with the three trash that work there .

Check in and check out was done through the App: smooth. Rooms were well thought. Kitchen is large enough, sofa two beds and the bathroom is decent size. The breakfast was great and the lady preparing was courteous and gentle. Issues with the espresso machine were addressed by the guy at the front desk. Hotel location is awkward. Even with the GPS it was confusing to arrive. Having a supermarket so close compensate this.

The room was not well kept with damage to the walls in the bathrooms and room. The people in the room next to me were yelling and cursing all night long. They were also smoking which made my room stink of cigarettes. I tried calling the front desk many times with no answer and was told the next morning that the night person turned the volume off on the front desk phone and was sleeping. I couldn't go to the desk in person as the people next door were fighting in the halls as well and I didn't want to step out into the middle of a fight. I had to call the police who finally showed up at around 4am to stop the fighting and yelling. There is no night security and the front dest person is sleeping. When the front door to the hotel is unlocked who is making sure no one is breaking into the hotel? I checked out a day early and found another place to stay for the night.

Rooms were ok. Avocado toast uses prepackaged avocado mix that didn't taste good. TV was not straight. Ordered a room with a sofa bed, but the room did not have it.

No seating outside! Now they are saying they are closed for the winter. Since when! We have been here almost 2 years and and they never closed it. What's the whole point of having a fire pit! Spoke to one of the guest and they said he is doing it on purpose. Marriott u need to take CHIRAG TAILOR and fire him from Marriott he is bad for business.

It stands out from the rest, having many alternate things to do other than rent a room. Very clean, indoor pool, bikes that you can use to go somewhere if need be. & Put a mint on your pillow every time. Also, have a laundry service. Not bad. A little ECG expensive if you just needing to crash for a night, but with it for a couple day vacation.

It is a nice new hotel with good location. What made my family had bad experience was the behavior of their manager Tailor. His approaches has been unfortunately unprofessional and lack of training and follow ups with the guest. There are many examples, the last one when I asked him for room service since my room hasn’t been clean for 2 days .. he said that we clean the rooms every 3 days but he is going to send someone on that day. Surprisingly he didn’t , even it was slow time for the hotel.

Cleaniness, Professional, Friendly Staff, Amenities, Location! Carl E. from the front desk is amazing! He welcomed me, provided assistance, was kind and courteous. He made me feel like this was my home. The room was immaculate! A FULL mini fridge with a REAL freezer and stove. Beautiful bathroom & shower and although I didn’t get an opportunity, the pool looks amazing! This is definitely my business go to hotel in the area and I totally look forward to my next visit and smiling, welcoming, professional, caring, Carl! It reminds me of Cheers! Outstanding!!!!!!

Pretty and clean hotel. I could tell they cleaned the remotes and door handles due to covid, which I greatly appreciate! The beds are extremely comfortable but unfortunately the pull-out bed is the worst bed I have ever slept on. I don’t remember the pull-out Element beds being so bad, so I was surprised. But it was a very nice room and quiet at night.
