Excellent food and amazing service. I wish I could give them 10 stars. The atmosphere was so welcoming, the staff was super nice and helpful, the Biryani we ordered was spot on, so delicious and flavorful, their food is always fresh and tasty, must try their chicken 65 full of flavors and their Thai food is also amazing. This is a must try restaurant. You will leave very satisfied and happy.

This was my first time trying Indian food, my girlfriend and I had the Tikka masala and the korma, which were delicious. We started with the chicken 65 which smelled spicy but was incredibly flavorful without destroying our mouths. We will be sure to come back!

We ordered a lot for Father’s Day and everyone loved everything!!! The chili chicken was a huge hit but it’s hard to choose one favorite because everything we ordered was amazing. We ordered over the phone and picked it up ourselves. The staff was incredibly sweet and even offered us a drink while we waited for our order. Can’t wait to order again

Better than expected! This little Indian Thai fusion restuarant blew me away. It seems like the big hit here is the Honey Chili Cauliflower appetizer and it didn't dissapoint. Reminds me of a version of General Tsos with Cauliflower and Indian spices. Yum! Also, being that I'm a big fan of saag (spinach) dishes, I had to get the chicken saagwala. Dare I say, it was better than the saag at our go-to Indian restaurant and the chicken was super tender. Mouth watering;very flavorful with the right amount of spices and kick! Well done.

This may be the most delicious Indian food I’ve ever had. I ordered the Dhabi Chicken Curry, and the chicken was so, so tender. After the filling lunch, our server gave us two rice puddings on the house! I wasn’t able to take a picture of our meal, but I’ve included a picture of my finished plate & the rice pudding :)

Awesome and so amazing food! I had chicken lollipops with Manchurian dip and chicken changezi with some fresh naan. Best I’ve had in ages! Highly recommend this places. Excited to try other things.

Dining here at Basil was such a great decision. This spot has such a wonderful atmosphere, delicious authentic food, and such pleasant staff. The music was also refreshing, as it was culturally appropriate. Wishing them the best!

I am always feel apprehensive when ordering from Multi Cuisine restaurants since there is a good chance that will mess up at least one order. Indian and Thai was a new combo for me, and the price was higher than what I am used to, especially Indian options, but still decided to give it a try. Thankfully, the food was pretty good, and the portion size kind of justified the price. I had ordered Biryani, Dhaba Chicken Curry, and Drunken Noodles. They all tasted good but I personally felt the Thai option tasted better than Indian. They tasted fine but something was missing. Seasoning was a tad bit bland, and Curry Sauce was not as thick as I would have liked it to be. I added some salt to bring out the flavors more but no such issues with the Noodles. Would definitely order again.

Great place. We visited this place after a hiking tour. We were the first customers for lunch. The first impression about the ambiance was awesome the interior shows mix of indian and thai traditions. The food is amazing. I specially loved the green thai curry(spicy). The texture and taste of the curry was soo awesome that i felt in love with the dish on my first bite. I would really recommend friends and family to visit this place

You smell the amazing aromas of the Thai/Indian cuisine as soon as you walk in. We were a table of 5 and got 5 different dishes to share and everything was sooo good. The service was great as well. I’ll definitely be coming back.

A fun fusion of Indian and Thai classics. The staff is friendly and the outside seating on sunny days real amps the vibe up. They have a pretty hefty lunch special and it's right in the center of Upper Montclair. Glad I found them!

One of the best Indian restaurants we've been to. We had the vegetable samosas, honey chili cauliflower, Naan and the kerala salmon moilee. Everything was great! The salmon was perfectly cooked. Super tender. The only comment I would make is if you like it spicy the medium for the salmon was more like mild. The service was very attentive! We happened to be visiting the area when we stopped in so unfortunately they are not close by to us.

If you are craving for typical Indian chinese street food, this is the place for you. Best chilli chicken had in so long. Awesome hospitality too. We were travelling from Canada, visiting NY and found this gem by chance. Good work guys 👍👍

I cant say enough good things about this place. The ambience is perfect. The food is exactly as described and amazing presentation. Service is excellent, they accommodated every little request we made without any fuss. They listen to our dietary restrictions and made suggestions accordingly. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.
