This is a solid, locally-owned Vietnamese spot in Nyack-- one of the few authentic Vietnamese places in Rockland. I've been twice so far and was satisfied both times. In total, I've ordered the following items: Appetizers: - Spicy Papaya Salad with Crispy Anchovies: The papaya is always fresh and the crispy anchovies added wonderful texture / crunch and flavor to the dish. It wasn't really spicy though. - Fried Calamari: Piping hot with crispy batter, this appetizer was super tasty. It's the perfect combo of chewy and crispy with an excellent flavor profile: a little sweet and also savory. Noodles: - Seafood Hu Tieu (chicken noodle soup) with Rice Noodles: I loved this dish on a cold day: It featured super rich and soul-warming broth, perfectly cooked noodles. The seafood was a little bland in flavor, but with some added hoisin sauce and sriracha, it tasted excellent-- flavorful and fragrant tastes all around. Desserts: - Mango Sticky Rice and Grilled Banana: Both desserts were delicious and authentic, with fresh fruit and a good ratio of coconut cream. Special Rolls: - Shrimp and Avocado Roll: These rolls were well-wrapped and tasted light and fresh. - Lemongrass Beef Roll: An interesting combination of ingredients, these rolls were also flavorful, fresh, and well-wrapped. Its a bit pricey relative to a lot of other authentic Vietnamese places I've been to, but the friendly, attentive service and good food make it worth it-- definitely best Vietnamese spot in Rockland! The location is also good: the exterior looks like a house and the interior is pretty spacious with ample seating. It's not in downtown Nyack, but pretty close by, and is easily accessible via car with a free parking lot.

Good place to go when missing home. I'm Vietnamese and my family lives in Florida so I don't get good Vietnamese food unless I go home and with covid that's not happening for a long time. The tamarind chicken soup is exactly like the hot and sour soup my mom makes. Good balance of sour and sweet from tamarind and pineapple, with fresh herbal notes from celery and beansprouts. The claypot basa (similar to catfish) was also well seasoned. The caramel sauce was umami forward with black pepper accents. They put onions which my family also does too but I rarely see in restaurants, adds a nice texture and sweetness. For egg rolls, I really like the taro. My aunt was the only person I knew that added taro to the egg rolls, but recently she changed over to malangal (like taro flavor times 10). So closest egg rolls to my aunties. They are a bit skinny, could use more filling, but I understand food costs, so not a big deal. Banh Xiao had way less filling then what we did at home, and didn't have the mung beans. But the crepe exterior was beautifully crunchy...that part was better then then my family's (they don't read my reviews, so I can be honest lol). Happy they had dessert, always love che, which is the rainbow jelly dessert. Very few Vietnamese restaurants offer that, usually have to find a sandwich shop or bakery for that. All in all good experience and food for fair price. Definitely will return.

I am so impressed by their very extensive menu. It’s clear that a lot of passion has gone into this restaurant. They still have some things to iron out. The meal began with maybe a ten minute explanation of everything they had that was not on the menu- it all sounded great but was really hard to remember and would have been nice to be able to read/reference when narrowing down choices on this very extensive menu! We ordered the shrimp sausage summer rolls, dumpling soup, soft shell crab, and the pressed vermicelli bun. They were all great though there were some issues with orders not being sent to the kitchen. The people working there couldn’t be more helpful/friendly. I will absolutely be back here (even though it’s an hour drive … I want to come back and try other dishes!) and I’ll update my review after trip two. Major five star potential, just not there *quite* yet.

The staff was very attentive. Our orders arrived in a timely manner. Definitely will come back again to try more dishes! The egg rolls were so crispy. The grilled combination was delicious. The house fried rice was amazing! And the clay pot shrimp was tasty. All in all, a great assortment of flavor in each bite.

I stumble on this place on the way to the pool and it was a great find. The food was great, loved the decor and service. the waiter told us about the specials from which we tried one. Very attentive and touched the table after we had a few bites to make sure everything was to our liking.I live about 30 minutes from the Restaurant. I would gladly drive here to get great food than driving to the city.

One of the best spots to try in Rockland area. Limited parking available. We haven't tried all the items on the menu but I would avoid the spare ribs and definitely try the wings. My favorite was the shaken beef.

I pulled into the lot around 4:32pm and immediately a man (who I assume is the owner) comes walking over. I was confused as to why he looked so aggravated while making a B-line towards my car. When I rolled my window down and asked yes? He looked at me as if I parked in his personal driveway and said I open again at 5pm. I told him I was aware because of Google and I‘ll be waiting until then. He stared at me and said okay, well I open at 5. Then turned around to head back inside. I was a little uncomfortable by this interaction and confused since it wasn’t like I was parked up sitting hours before opening. I started to wonder if he had people who would loiter, but what bothered me after this was another car pulled into the lot around 4:38. He did not come outside to inform them he opened up again at 5. I chalked it up to having Jersey plates and him assuming I was using his lot for a parking break. I headed in a little after opening and he ended up being my server. I ordered the P2 with rice instead of vermicelli along with an iced espresso. I very much appreciated the accommodation for substituting my pho bowl with rice. The broth was delicious and I was very impressed! I’ve always had pho with lime, but the lemon was great. Surprisingly it’s more flavorful than the lime and brought out the richness of the broth. I was also impressed at how authentic the espresso was served! I’ve never before watched it steep and was always served it premade. I ended up ordering a P3 & S2 with chicken to take back home for my friend. By the time I got to Jersey the food was just as delicious for them as well. We shared the papaya salad and they said the vermicelli was great with their pho! The noodles didn’t lose their integrity during the car ride either. I live by Jersey City/Newark if this puts things into perspective. I would definitely come here again when in Nyack. I would just recommend to possibly be kinder with your approach when coming out to a car, this interaction almost caused me to not go inside due to feeling uncomfortable. I do feel that this was made up for with his good service and kinder approach while indoors, like an unspoken apology.

First time visiting since they moved from their original Hillcrest location. Absolutely loved how much space was inside. Even better was the option to dine outdoors. The pho I matched all the times I dined at the previous location. The tempura wings light and crisp full of flavor. Looking forward to the next time there. It's nice they serve drinks here as well.

Most of the flavors are almost there. A little short on the execution. The lettuce wraps had flavor but were missing something, possibly some fresh herbs to wrap with the shrimp. The banh mi was a disappointment. The baguette was not crusty at all and was missing many of the high lights. A bit dry a well. Might try again if I'm in the neighborhood, but there are other vietnamese places to try first.

Probably one of the best Viet restaurants in this area, staff was amazing and attentive, the grilled food is the best here! Chicken wings were super crispy and all the sauce was soaked in the lettuce leaf. I would have given 5 stars but the pho was alright, not the best broth and the noodles were a bit too al dente. The one thing I ordered that was suprisingly good was the durian shake. I know this fruit scares some people but it really reminded me of the frozen durians I used to have as a child. Would definitely come back with more friends! We love the interior decor with little lanterns and outdoor/indoor dining is available.

Absolutely delicious! I got the beef and brisket pho, as well the tempura chicken wings and they were perfectly crispy! We got everything to go and we’re able to enjoy our meal just as well at home. Absolutely going to be trying everything on the menu!!
