Dr. Stephen Nicholas and his staff at New York Orthopedics are amazing! The office space is professional, immaculate, and comfortable. The staff is competent, polite, knowledgeable and caring. Dr. Stephen Nicholas is a world-class physician and surgeon. He is empathetic, listens to you, understanding your needs, and then explains the best approach for the best care possible. Dr. Nicholas performed a reverse total shoulder arthroplasty. The pain was easily managed for the first couple of days without any complications and physical therapy has been great. In addition to providing excellent medical care, Dr. Nicholas stayed at his office late just to squeeze us in and take care of my daughter. It could have waited until the next day, but he made the extra effort to take care of us right then and there. He is also very good at communicating with young kids, who are already on edge from having an injury. The same goes for his staff who also helped us a ton.
