I stayed here for 3 nights. My husband and our pomsky. This place was very nice. Pros.. The staff was super friendly rooms were very clean. Bed was made nicely. Ac works great. No bugs! Vending machines fully stocked. Breakfast was okay they had bagels cereal coffee. Now the cons...if you miss 11am checkout your charged $50 if you don't return your key your charged $10. Pool is not open when a manager is not there, or the fitness center. Breakfast is from 6am to 9am if your like me who gets up at 10am or later you will miss it. The stairs in the middle of the hotel to get out of door D, the top step is a doozy. I tripped everytime. The room I was in the tub never wanted to drain, And the toilet was always making noise. But none of these "cons" are major ! I like this place and will definitely stay again next year when we come back for work.

The room had an overall strange odor. The carpet next to the nightstand had an intense smell of puke. The furniture was broken. The walls were dusty. The shower handle leaked. The soap dispenser dispensed eye dropper sized soap drops with each push. Some of the lights in the room didn't work and those that did were very dim. The heater under the bathroom sink was cranked on very high and made the entire room very hot. The sheets and towels didn't smell good. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I was afraid for my safety and the entire second floor smelled of smoke. The staff were nice, but there are signs up saying that guests can only stay for "21 days at a time" and "smoking/vaping" is a $100 fine. You couldn't pay me to go back. I just needed a room and a bed on a trip south. If I hadn't planned to only stay overnight I would have checked out early. Never again.

Check in and out was great with friendly service with a beautiful lobby. Getting to our room wasnt the best as the stairs and hallways were dirty or ran down looking. The hotel seemed sketchy. Entering our room was okay, but the cleanliness wasnt good. As entering our room the window was opened with no screen which was very odd. The beds seemed comfortable and the comforters were stained, but sheets were cleaned. We didnt ask for any room service during our stay and the hotel staff respected our privacy. We did ask nightly for extra pillows and were told every night they didnt have any. The bathroom was roomy and had some hair on the floors, but the room smelled clean. The water pressure was great and they had hot water. The breakfast in the morning was basic, but statisifying. Not all vending machines and ice machines worked, but the downstair vending machines worked. The doors to the hotel enterances say they lock after 8pm, however they do not lock for security reasons. The hotel sits on its own and its a quite area. The housekeepers you see in the morning were in the hallways cleaning. They were very nice and working hard. They seemed to be under staffed. No sightings of bugs during stay. Overall, the stay was decent and manageable for the price.

I recently used this hotel as an alternative to driving home after a local party I attended. Check in was easy. The front desk had so many memos about lost key charges, late checkout charges, no pool use while manager isn't in the building and a particularly weird memo about lengths of stay being limited to 21 days but you could check out only to check back in.... The lobby was clean but I should have known to check the room over. It was a smoky mess. The first floor is designated as the non smoking floor but everything was soaked in smoke. I couldn't stay the full night. I stayed long enough to rest and left at 4:30 am. I wanted to hand my key over to a human, rather than leaving it at the desk and being charged $10 for not returning it. No one was at the desk that early. I would not stay here again. This hotel is on the way out and is just starting its death throes.

Location was ok and easy to get in and out. Exterior and lobby pretty nice. Ample room to park our 25 ft RV. Staff was helpful and pleasant. We got the king room with a separate living are. Basically the king room could be closed off from the "living room" with a sliding frosted glass door. Not a lot of privacy, but enough i guess. The pull out couch had seen better days though. The mattress was falling thru and would not supoort anyone. My 11 yr old ended up using the couch cushions as a bed on the floor. An old bar of soap was left in the floor but other than that, it seemed clean. Pool was drained with a little green excess water in it. Would stay again though.

My husband & I stayed here for 2 nights and in those 2 nights moved rooms twice. We paid a total of $500 for a jacuzzi suite. First, the fridge in the room wasn't working so we were switched into the next suite. Then, the shower handle came off in that one, so we were switched back to the original room where the fridge was now working. Finally, the last morning there the jets in the jacuzzi were not working. I appreciate the staff's attempt to make things right by giving us a different room and allowing a later checkout, however, the rooms need to be updated and thoroughly cleaned. In both rooms we saw strings of hair & stains on the pillows and towels. Also, the manager Mary, was rude when trying to checkout. We waited behind another customer and when she finished she did something on the computer and with no "I'll be right back or One moment please" she walks off to the back where we can clearly hear her eating. We waited about 5 minutes & still nothing so I started tapping my card on the counter and after another 5 minutes she finally reappeared clearly annoyed at the tapping. As far as breakfast, they don't provide anything hot but the croissants and yogurt were good. The gym sucks, it only has one 10lb dumbbell and 3 machines that don't work. Not to mention the AC (in the gym) doesn't work either. The pool is closed "for renovations" but it seems they just don't want to keep up with maintenance.

Last minute hotel after finding out our originally booked hotel had roaches. Very accommodating for us arriving at nearly 5:00am. Very lucky we found it after calling a handful of others that had no availability for us to just stay a few hours for some sleep. they had a room ready for us, clean soft bed and pillows to sleep on. The hotel smelled clean, but was a little run down. The room was relatively clean except for a sucker stick on the floor and some uncleaned strands of hair in the shower. The front desk attendant was very nice and very understanding about our situation. My only real complaint is that the security door downstairs on the building we were staying in didn't lock, just closed, even though it was supposed to be a keyed entry.

This hotel is one of those "you get what you pay for". Dirty rooms in need of repair. Our first room came with very dirty sheets and a TV that didn't work. Moved to another room slightly better but no shampoo, TV didn't work properly, sink was clogged, drapes where broken, floor was dirty...

Service was fantastic! Accommodated our request for early check-in. Responded promptly to housekeeping requests. Staff was so helpful when asked all of our questions. Linens soft, beds comfortable. Water pressure good. Breakfast had fruit, cereal, waffles, yogurt, pastries, bagels, and all the condiments. Quiet location, deer were grazing on front lawn when we arrived. Manager Mary was fantastic accommodating all of our request. Location was perfect for our visit to Cedar Crest

Drove in from Virginia and was looking for a hotel for a few nights. We stopped here and the staff was very genuine as we arrived. The room was a bit dated but nice nonetheless. The hotel smelled really nice and the room smelled like orange with a hint a vanilla, it wasnt to over powering. Very nice stay for the few nights we were there for. Thank you for having us :)

This hotel served the purpose for us as it was close to a venue Vibe, we were attending. It's just the whole facility is worn and in need of attention: painting, deep cleaning etc. Front desk was somewhat helpful but a nice greeting upon checking in would be nice. "drivers license please" was the greeting. Bar/lounge is only open 1 night, Friday! Our room was musty which required fan to be run. In room safe did not work despite 2 efforts by front desk. Bath towels were flimsy. Breakfast was OK. Again, for one night it was OK.

Clean room staff is helpful, easy check-in process breakfast is hot and good love that they offer both coffee, tea and hot chocolate needed to add extra days they help you extend your stay and might even give you a discount. Clean rooms hallways can't go wrong.

This was a horrible and dirty hotel so many complaints! I don’t understand the point to have a housekeeping team seems they don’t clean any room we rented a room with double beds and had one towel no soap or conditioner ants they offered to change rooms and the second room was even worse full of ants and bugs stains on beds bathroom was covered in what felt like sand. Third room was a tad better but smelled like pure dog piss so we just would never recommend this place staff is rude and unwilling to take responsibility for the quality of service

Bottom line up front, horrible place to stay. Glad I was only here for 1 day :-( While checking in I waited for about 7 min before someone noticed I was there. I checked in around 7 p.m. and the receptionist said my room wasn't ready. While she was looking for a room on the computer, I noticed that a sign stated they charge for NOT returning the key card ($10). That was a flag from the get go. We received our room on the 2nd floor and proceeded to get unpacked. When we opened the door, there was a strong scent of Clorox and the light reflected the floor had some kind of sticky stain. We noticed that the A/C was off so we turned on the unit and opened the windows. While walking to open the windows, we noticed (laminate wood flooring) was puffy, meaning that the installation was poor and it was a trip hazard. We stayed in the room for 15 minutes and became lighted-headed as I got a headache. The fumes that were in the room were too strong. We went back downstairs to get another room. The receptionist was upset and said there were no rooms available (I heard something along the lines we need to save money). Her co-worker found a vacancy down-stairs and stormed back to the back office as her co-worker gave us that room. The room was better but you could tell that the room was older than the room upstairs. After settling in, we wanted to use the gym only to find out that the gym was locked (the gym was literally locked with a key). We went to the front desk to get the key but the same dude said management needs to be on the premises in order for the gym to be used and is only open from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. We noticed that in the hallway, all the A/C units were off. There was a strange heat wave and we went to our friend's room to find they had HUGE ants crawling on the wall and everywhere else (the room was next door upstairs). We told them we needed to change rooms.... The next day we attempted to eat breakfast. The breakfast was horrible! The coffee was stale and the continental breakfast was hard to chew. That was the last straw. We checked out immediately and we will never return. We were there for an event and I will make sure we never return to this location. EVER!

Gentlemen at check-in offered me a better rate and room upgrade after seeing my ID, that was cool. Hot tub didn't work but he told us that. Room and hotel is a bit outdated, continental breakfast is lightly stocked. A fine value for the price.

Great value for money. Decent room and cleanliness. Fast wifi! The only downside is pool closing when management is away and too many paper notices at checkin which makes the hotel less professional. Hotel rules can be included in terms and conditions when customers check in instead of hanging them all out

The nicest stay ever. We had booked the suite months in advance and when we arrived it was great. Granted the shower curtain holder looked like it needs replacing and the molding in the tub is cracked but that's nothing. But overall it was amazing. Thank you.

I'm very disappointed that the pool is under some sort of construction and empty. No one told me this when I checked in here. The man that checked us in was very friendly. The room is decent but the ac doesn't get that cold and it's super muggy outside from all the rain so it would have been nice for it to be a bit cooler. The worse part about this stay is the location it's on a major highway and the traffic is rediculous but you can't get in here woth out doing all of these turn arounds (gotta love jersey rds) if you miss the turn yoir driving 5 miles up the rd to do the turn around so ypu can come up and go passed the hotel to the next turn around so you can get to the hotel it's super frustrating. I haven't had the breakfast bc its from 6am to 9am and I keep waking up at 8:45 lol I am on vacation after all lol.

Could use some tender loving care. The first floor reeks of cannabis. That is not the hotel staffs fault; however, it downgrades the value of the property. The housekeeping staff are aggressive, they want those rooms clean even with a do not disturb sign they want to enter the room. Have to be better than that. Rooms can be comped if a staff member tries to enter a room with a do not disturb sign. Knock on the door, make your presence known, call the room. That is how you do it right if you want to enter a room you believe is not occupied and the guests checked out. The location is good if you need to be out in Wayne Township area. The Legacy Castle is nearby. Check out the bar. Does serve breakfast which is a bonus. Clean up the place a little, renovations are not the only thing worthy of a hotel property.

Absolutely awful hotel. The breakfast was invisible. It was ice cold in the breakfast room. It said caution wet floor. What? Coffee was like drinking sludge! I could not wait to get out of here. No restaurant open and they did have empty rooms for a restaurant. It sucked big time. Had my dog with us and even he wanted to go home. We were there for a family member’s funeral.

Just read all the comments. I don’t know how my parents were fine staying here because this place awful. The lingering smell of smoke and mold. I’m honestly grossed out. My wife didn’t even want to get in bed and asked to just sleep in the car. Honestly that doesn’t even sound like a bad idea. Go somewhere else. Wyndham has always been good, but clearly they only care about their more destinational spots than this one. 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

The only nice thing I can say is the lobby, bar and breakfast area looked good. The room was like walking into 1990. Dated, worn out, damaged furniture. Old carpeting. No shampoo in the shower dispenser. Small, thin towels. A single ottoman where there was clearly supposed to be a couch. A lamp on only one side of the bed. Doors in the back parking lot that say they lock for security at 8 pm, but were unlocked when we returned from a party at 10 pm. Do yourself a favor and choose a different hotel.

the hotel was very nice. I had stayed here in the past when it was under a different name. but the room was very clean. the bathroom was clean too. the bed was okay. the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful for me. they assisted me because I was handicapped at getting my luggage into my room. and they were always there if I needed anything else. the price was reasonable. and the location was great so you have a repeat customer now. I only wish that the little bar and restaurant out in the front was open the day that I was there. but I understand it's only open one day a week. so next time I'll plan a little bit better

This place is really worth $20 a night. Let's start off with the customer service. The young Spanish lady at the front desk greeted me with a fake smile off the back, totally not a warm welcome! It was awkward the whole time, as almost as i did not belong here! Me being a black man I can definetly tell if someone is being prejudice and in this situation there were definitely some displays of it. One key card was giving despite two adults being in the room. When you park in the rear and access the hotel through the back there is a mob of fly's as soon as you walk through that door. The rooms are big and spacious very outdated though. The carpet looks like its been there since the 80's,and if your thinking about staying here make sure to bring your own towels, I found hair on two the towels luckily there was one towel that was clean enough for me to dry my skin after my shower. ( a lesson learned to bring your own towel.) The ice machine on the first and second floor never have any ice in them you always have to go to the front desk and ask for ice. So I go to the front desk and there is a white family being attended by the young Spanish lady. Cool no problem I'll wait until she's done attending... An Asian girl pops out from the back and sees me and shouts at me HELLO! with an attitude like I was causing trouble. You should have seen my face at this point. I'm the kind of person that don't like drama or controversy but if you are a man of color or a woman of color please stay the hell away from this place! Not only to mention they charged me twice. I had booked initially the third party app and what I got to the hotel the Spanish chick at the desk charged my card again. Thank God for the older lady who works at the front desk in the mornings. She was very polite and helpful, she helped me resolved the matter. But people please beware of this place, do yourself a favor sleep in your car if you can!

All around great place! Great pool, although I couldn't use it, the layout was awesome! Clean and affordable. Kind front end staff! Great breakfast set up and selection! Not far from NYC but not right next door!

Overall bad hotel. Room was ok but the renovations are awful. Shower was cheap, caulking falling out. Rooms are dated. No elevator. Carpets were dirty, not vacuumed in hallway. Front desk was not friendly at check in and non existent at check out. I had to call the hotel to get someone to come out and check us out. Front entrance was boarded up, looks awful.

Mary and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and the beds were very comfortable. This was our second stay here in the past couple of months and we will stay here again the next time the hockey schedule brings us down this way

First room I was given was basically a well-worn-out studio apartment complete with stove. Half the furniture was broken and the other half I was afraid to touch. There was a water leak in the bathroom coming from somewhere I'm assuming in a wall, my floor was soaked in a half inch of water. Second room was a "deluxe" room with a small 'living room' and a 2 TVs. Only 1 remote. I've had to stop by the front desk almost every night for various issues (key card not working, mechanical issues in rooms, etc.) The entry ways reek of stale smoke and old food. The carpets are stained from employees leaving trash bags on the floor in every landing and entry way. I've always had good luck with Wyndham properties but I wouldn't stay here again if it was free (this trip was work related so I'll be reimbursed for the room anyways). There's much better options around if you're don't mind a 5 or 10 minute drive. I wish I did more research on the property. This location is a glorified efficiency motel.
