Fantastic thin buttery crust pizza and attentive service. Chicken dippers is a great appetizer to enjoy as your pizza takes 30 minutes to be cooked to perfection.

Let me start out by saying I’ve NEVER had anything negative to say about this place BUT this time was completely different. Our server was excellent and accommodating even tho there was a given hour wait on pizzas. We ordered fried and wings first which came out fast and were DELICIOUS. Then we ordered a 12” pizza with giardiniera (our usual) … the toppings were piled on the pizza (excessive amounts) and when we took a bite it was sooooooo spicy! We started picking off the giardiniera off two pieces and it was about 1/4 - 1/2 a cup on just 2 pieces!! The manager came out and said there’s a set amount they put on and I said there’s NO WAY that’s normal . Even out waiter said he’s never seen that much on a pizza . She said to get a replacement we would have to pay 50% of the one we couldn’t eat and pay full price for a new one. This is HORRIBLE customer service. If YOU make a mistake YOU fix it , not have the customer pay for it . I’ve never in my 10 years of food service experience ever heard of such a thing. We took home a pizza we couldn’t even eat. That’s unacceptable. Not to mention we couldn’t wait another 45 mins for a replacement because I had my baby with me and she was over it . Next a time a customer shows you your staff is in the wrong , you should rectify the situation and not have the customer walk away with a bad taste in their mouth.

Very good pizza with super flavorful crust! Also try the arancini we all really enjoyed that appetizer. The restaurant itself is very loud when full. Two things I didn't care for were the old fashioned cocktail and our server was not very attentive. I believe that he only came to take our order. He never came to check on us or to refill any beverages. Seemed like he was busy in the kitchen socializing with the other staff. Although, I would go back and would recommend this pizza!!

Ordered online pizza half sausage. I called after ordering online to insure that my order was correct the lady said I had ordered correctly online. 50 min. Later I was given a cheese only pizza. I was so upset after waiting almost an hour on a pizza I was told would take 25 minutes. Then to top it off the pizza order was wrong.

Hi I bought take-N -bake 16” cheese and 12” cheese…… Both one i baked long time but cheese melted and start gonna burn but pizza not cooked well and its thin………:: really disappointed…

It’s been a while since we went somewhere where the food was great and service was even better! Thanks to our server Elise for a great experience. Will definitely be back.

The pizzas are great, that's the one thing I always get. Here's the thing though: The App is absolute totally useless. Don't download it. I have ordered over $1,000 worth of pizzas with friends over the past 1.5-2yrs and received a grand total of 0 rewards. 0. If you're looking for any loyalty programs or bonuses or coupon codes or any benefit of using the App at all; don't bother. $1,000 is calculated via following logic: $20 every week for past 75+ weeks, but let's say 25% of the time we order something else; which is still being very conservative and I rounded down. If you want a pizza place that rewards regular visitors, this place won't do. Again, the food is great tho. but there's no gamification (i.e. no enticement) for using the app. Which is all fine except they have a giant section in the App labeled 'Rewards', which are always 0. I've logged in and can see my order history, so there's no issue from the user's side.

I was thinking just a normal pizza place. I didn't realize it was a scratch kitchen. We had a strawberry pecan salad that was amazing. And the pizza we had was amazing as well. The place was clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. This will definitely be a go to place for me!!

Our server Mark was amazing! He didn't smile once, which honestly I love the realness. Who truly loves being at work so much they never stop smiling? Fake smiles freak me out. He brought everything out to us so fast, and his attitude was great. Highly recommend!

We got this for the first time through Uber Eats. The pizza was really good but probably would've been even better if it wasn't delivered. The wings were so crispy and cooked to perfection. The chicken dippers tasted so juicy. All the sauces were good. Overall, this was a very delicious pizza dinner! Worth the price.

I really appreciate the food and service. I have to say all the staff is awesome from the hostess , buss girl, runner and especially the server. She was on point. She anticipated our needs before we did. Also, I noticed the buss girl cleaning a table. She pulled out the booth table and detailed the area. We took home the left over pizza and it reheated up great in the air fryer. We each had a drink. The margarita was so good. I really appreciate this level of dining.

Good service and decent tasting food. Shareables the other name for appetizers here, we got were cheesy fries and garlic bread. Both very good and filling, but took 20 minutes to come out. It's 35 minutes for the pizza to come out so plan accordingly. Home run inn pizza has its own unique taste with a buttery crust. But the pizza overall is very thin and I don't think there is as good as Giordano's or Gino's East which I would consider the real Chicago Pizza.

Service was a little slow but we had a large group. Also, "service fee" or tip was in the bill but was not mentioned. I almost double tipped. Try the cheesy bread and definitely the "1947" pizza.

We love HOME RUN IN! Out family has been a fan since it opened in the 70’s. It’s always good. But this particular night it was very good! It wasn’t just me. People at other tables were commenting on how good the pizza was that night!!! The location in Bolingbrook has thee BEST pizza!!

I love their Sicilian style pizza. The crust is buttery and I enjoy their strawberry and pecan salad. I think it is still family run so it doesnt have that generic chain feeling.

Pizza and appetizers were great as always. Our server would disappear for long periods of time. We booked the back room for an informal meeting and then had a holiday party added to the other side, making it a bit loud and awkward at times. Will definitely still go back. It's not the original, but who's gonna drive that far.

3 stars because it’s our favorite pizza but stoped going to this one ( close to our home) and to the Darien location because they don’t have anchovies anymore, our favorite ingredient. One waitress said that’s because they go bad if lots of people don’t ask for it. Silly when some cans last for a couple years and they have them in other pizza restaurants. I was going to take my daughter tomorrow and they don’t have pasta anymore ( what she likes). Well, we will have to go to beggars since they have both, even that we prefer home run inn pizza better, especially the crust

Nice restaurant. Quick friendly service. Pizza to die for. I moved to Arizona in 2019 so the only time I get to enjoy HRI pizza is the frozen kind they sell in the grocery store. It was every bit as delicious as I remembered.

It was decent pizza..not the best I've had..but good
