This is exactly the kind of place I am looking for when I am out on the road. If you are looking for a "taste" of Indiana, this is a place you should try! There is Something about a small-town Mom & Pop that you just can't get at a chain restaurant. The prices here are both unbelievable and unbeatable. I had to try the Bob-A-Loin sandwich, which was delicious. The portion size was huge. I hope Remington appreciates how lucky it is to have a restaurant like Bob & Connie's. I travel thousands of miles to find hidden gems like this one. If you are lucky enough to find yourself in Remington, Indiana, you have to try Bob & Connie's. You will not be disappointed!

Thanks to the patrons before me that left reviews on Google! I was searching for a great pit stop on my long drive and this was the perfect place! Not too far off the highway, easy to find, and very welcoming! The service and food were fabulous. I enjoyed the buffalo chicken wrap and sidewinders. I've been sharing with all my friends and family if the ever pass by on their adventures!

First time there. There was a tall man there who seated us who was very personable and friendly and got our drinks for us. He also brought out our orders and thought my son's tater tots were too done (which they were) and he said he immediately put in a new order. The food was good. Other than the gentleman who waited on us more often than our waitress did, the service wasn't the best. The way you paid was also awkward, it was at the bar. I thought it was a bit expensive for two burgers.

Located just a couple of miles off the expressway in Remington, this is an excellent alternative to fast food. Had the pork tenderloin and it was HUGE. Food was tasty and service was friendly. I always appreciate a restaurant which offers Red Gold ketchup (yes, there is a difference)! Restaurant looks to be a local fave. Located within a bar, but tables got families. Outside seating available, but not open when I visited. Appears they may be expanding next door

As an out of towner who hit up this place after a Purdue football game, I was underwhelmed given my expectation based on their 4.7 rating on this site. There's nothing bad about Bob and Connie's. It is clean, the staff is friendly, the food was served timely (though they do like their salt), and beer selection was pretty dang good. But there is nothing about this place (aside from the atmosphere) that has a Wow factor. If you are from out of town and looking for a place to watch games, have a chill meal, or just have a few drinks, Bob and Connie's is perfect for that. But temper your expectations based on the 4.7 rating this place has as of October 2023.

We were so happy to find this place on the Public Square app! The owners were terrific, the staff was very friendly and the food was delicious! We'll definitely go back!

Great place for a bite to eat! Amazing tenderloin and potato wedges.

We did carry out and everything was good. We called when we were on the highway. Food was ready in 15 mins, we got there got the food, paid and were out the door back on the road. This is a great option for travelers to have some food that is not fast food. Everything was good (breaded chicken sandwich, chicken Philly and the kids meals).

Small town bar and grill. We stopped for the hand-breaded pork tenderloin: EXCELLENT! Added the lettuce, tomato, red onion, and mayo. One of the best. Topped it off with carrot cake. Great lunch stop on the way from Chicago to Indy.

If you’re looking for a stop between NWI and Lafayette that’s less than five minutes off I-65 for a bite, look no further. The food is excellent and fresh, the service is great, and the prices are what you’d reasonably expect for the rural Midwest. The atmosphere is good — the locals are friendly and can be talkative. This is becoming a regular stop of mine between Indy and NWI. I recommend the *junior* tenderloin!
