New to the area and I really love coming here. Great spot to hang out at pretty much anytime of the day ! Their rose garden is very beautiful. There are lights for nighttime strolls. The women's bathroom was surprisingly super clean ! There are vending machines with drinks. A go to on my list for sure.

Beautiful garden along the river. Food Truck Tuesdays in the summer, Aglow in December, and plenty of other things to do at other times of the year. I like to bring my dog here to walk.

Beautiful place, love the walk or bike ride, the garden area breathtaking. I completely enjoy myself when I go there. Nice view of the river and ducks, quiet time for reading,or just to enjoy the view. Definitely recommend it.

Beautiful river front garden that hosts live music and food truck Tuesdays. Free and family friendly. The rock river recreational path runs along the river for many miles.

My husband, Mom, and I take our dogs here every year to walk through the Christmas lights. They are spectacular. I have not been to a better display than they have here. They have a food truck at times that sells hot cocoa and some sweets. This is a fun experience for the whole family.

Don't miss the Christmas lights here. Go when you have time to just stroll around. I think they put up even more lights this year compared to last year and it is just magical.

I'm impressed more and more everytime I go there, and I go often. The grounds are the most beautiful I've seen for a city this size. The flower and garden scientists are hardworking and dedicated.

I thought it would be larger but if you go slow and tour the grounds it's worth the stop. The cultural information including music and recipes from places the plants were from was a cool touch!

Sinissippi is a beautiful place to visit! There are a lot of fun things to do out there. The bike path along the river is a beautiful place to take a walk. The Nicholas Conservatory is a really cool thing to checkout too especially the butterfly exhibit. One of my new favorite activities though, has to be the Tuesday food truck day. No matter who you are, you will find something fun to do.

A beautiful old park in Old Rockford, up the side of a great hill with winding paths through the forests and clearings. It's a fabulous place to walk with your family or your dogs. There are children's play areas, picnic tables, and lots of paved and natural walking paths. For me, the majesty is in the old-growth trees, and the views you can get from the plateau at the top of the great hill that change with the seasons. The Sinnissippi Band Shell often has music acts (usually free of charge) near the top of the hill that run all summer. Sinnissippi Golf course starts out of the clubhouse near the crest of the hill. And in Winter, there are numerous activities as well, with snow sculpting competitions and the Festival of Lights, with vignettes of Christmas built, decorated, and sponsored by civic-minded groups and organizations. We used to come here when I was a child for sledding and cross-country skiiing. One of my favorite places for years.

Delightful displays of Christmas lights at Sinnissippi Gardens! A "must see" for the family!

Beautiful park! The Christmas light display is gorgeous and the bike path is well maintained. It's a great place to walk, cycle or exercise your dog. The lagoon is fun to visit in the summer to feed the ducks and fun in the winter, just bring your ice skates.

This is a lovely public park and conservatory. They have different features depending on the time of year, like butterflies in the spring. We went to see the Christmas lights but were a couple weeks early since they don't light it up until after Thanksgiving. Our girls spent a chilly evening feeding the swans and ducks amidst the colorfully lit water feature and walkway.

We love to walk around the plants and watch the fish, ducks, swans, turtles, and wild birds. The lagoon has some very big fish that come near the surface to be seen by the pier where it is more shallow. Great experience for my grandkid.
