We got in early, thank goodness! Ordered Local burger with bacon 🥓 Best burger I ever had! It was delicious 😋 Fresh greens salad was awesome! Homemade tater tots with pulled beef... Will definitely go back again! Drinks are okay. Not too strong.

We found this restaurant while looking at Google Maps one night when we knew we were going to be in the area. Based on the menu and photos it peaked our interest. We made some reservations for a Saturday evening. Fast forward to the ending... FANTASTIC food. Loaded fries were amazing and all of our burgers were even better than expected. I need to go back and try some of the other options as their menu had more food I want to enjoy. Hostess... extremely nice. Wait staff...a bit slow, but it was busy so no big deal. Only complaint... restaurant has a big LOCAL sign behind the bar but I don't think any of the breweries in the 10 mile radius were on tap.

Lets start with the "employees" friendly, helpful and accommodating as I was with a party of 13! Food is delightful, filling and will definitely satisfy. The wife and I had a black and bleu burger and a short rib burger which both were phenomenal! We also tried the jalapeno poppers which wonderful as well. I recommend this place for a swanky hip date or a nice night out on the town maybe even a nice drinking spot as the bar is filled with top shelf alcohol to include a nice aray of allocated bourbons.

I got the burger of the month. Yes, that is a piece of Flaming Hot Cheeto encrusted mozzarella. It might sound a bit over the top, but I gotta say, it absolutely works. I also got truffle fries and the bruschetta appetizer, both were fantastic. To top it off, the signature cocktails were delicious and we had really prompt and friendly service.

Delicious food! There is indoor and outdoor seating as well. I highly recommend the jalapeño poppers as an appetizer. They are homemade and the best I’ve ever had. Their burgers are amazing! I tried a bite of the elotes burger. Yummy toppings and tasted great. Fries were really good too. You can’t go wrong with any of the choices. I also got a fajita bowl and that was great! Healthy and flavorful. The shakes are 10/10 as well. I tried the campfire shake and it tasted delicious. The server was kind and very fast. Food didn’t take long at all. Prices are fairly reasonable too. You must try it you’re in the area!

Awesome selection of burgers. Definitely not a first date kind of meal cause the burgers are juicy and full of messy but tasty toppings! If you are vertically challenged skip the high top tables or your legs might fall asleep! The best part of the French dip burger was the fried leeks--gave it a great flavor and some crunch!

The margarita was amazing! I like that they offer either a salted rim or a rim with tajin; with this margarita, the tajin rim complemented the flavor VERY well. The mac and cheese was very flavorful, fairly priced. From the breadcrumbs and seasoning to the sauce they used, definitely something worth ordering again. The burger we ordered was pretty disappointing, it tasted like meatloaf and they didn’t even ask how we wanted it cooked, which threw me off because of the price of the burger. (At least the French fries were good!) The chicken tenders overall were just okay, but they did taste pretty salty.

Went on a Thursday evening for dinner and it was awesome. We had Nick as a server who was great. We order the BBQ burger with salad and the Hangover Over Helper burger. Both were awesome but the Hangover Helper was killer! Also not pictured was the wings and we ordered the Sriracha bourbon which did not disappoint. We will definitely be back.

The Burger Local in Geneva, Illinois is a fantastic place to enjoy a delicious burger. The atmosphere is cool and inviting, creating a great dining experience. I love this restaurant so much. Best Mac and cheese in town. I always get the Buffalo chicken Mac. I also recommend the espresso martini from here! I have been here so many times and the service is always awesome and always have a GREAT experience. it’s easy to find close parking too with the parking garage being right there.

I really love this burger place. The local burger was delicious. Service was pleasant and quick. If you are with the dog they will seat you outside and serve a bowl of cold water. After 3 weeks we're back again and you know what? It's still delicious. Bum

We didn’t have burgers. We just stopped by to have some appetizers. Surprisingly…… the girls and I thought it was delicious! Super convenient and next to the train station.

Great place! Was recommended this place when I mentioned I was a fan of Burger Social in Wheaton. Similar atmosphere and menu. I got the Hangover Helper burger, the Pimento Bacon Mac and Cheese, and the Hochata shake. Everything was fantastic and looking forward to going back to try more!

This place is such a great burger spot! Down town Geneva alone has wonderful places to hang at, but if you're looking for a good burger and great drinks, this place is for you! The food was fantastic, the service was above and beyond, and the atmosphere was exactly what I needed! Laid back, fun, and easy going! Right up my alley! Make sure to try and sit on their little patio too, is so worth it! Can't wait to go back!

This place is a great spot for delicious foood! Their buffalo chicken mac’n’cheese was real good - comes with two chicken tenders (grilled or fried); would’ve definitely like 3pieces instead. Nonetheless, my girlfriend had their local classic burger and she loved it as well; especially their pretzel bun. I ordered one on the side 😅 My sister-in-law and her bf had a burger and bbq wings too; both enjoyable! The service was great too, unfortunately forgot our waitress’ name but she was always attentive. All in all, a chill place to have some lunch or dinner - we will certainly return soon! Good burgers for sure! I have had a few off the menu and all were good and juicy. I tried a shake on last visit and was impressed. They have a good selection of beer available. They won't hand out menus and make you use the q code thing which is unfortunate. Service can be better and they rush you a bit. But if you are hungry for a burger you won't be disappointed.

This place is great! Tried it for the first time for lunch. Service was awesome. Ambiance was cool. We sat at the bar to avoid the wait. My fiancé and I split the French Dip Burger (bartender recommended this) , Fries and a side of Mac and Cheese. I thought a 10oz patty would be too much and I’m usually not a pretzel bun lover but it was a very very tasty burger. I am glad we split though bc a whole one would have been too much. The Mac and Cheese was also very good. The couple next to us were some regulars and they were all about the wings so maybe need to try those next time. I’m definitely going to be coming back.

Really good burgers, mac and cheese side, brisket and cheesy tots appetizer was great. Not a huge fan of the clam chowder but if you love bacon forward chowder go for it. Recommend and will return here in the future.

Came to Burger Local on a Saturday night and boy was it busy , but we only waited about a half hour. Food was great. Burger was juicy and huge! Cooked to perfection. Also had the Jerk wings and they were terrific. Meaty and juicy. Drinks were good too. Can get a little expensive, but definitely worth it. Server was wonderful. Will be back.

Their cocktails are as crafty and delicious as their burgers. Have been coming to the cute Geneva area seasonally, but first time trying out The Burger Local. Of course, we sat at the bar, and I had to opt for a burger, their namesake. Pictured here is the Local Burger: ordered medium-cooked with American Cheese, on a potato bun. Comes with a side (either salad or fries - I opted for the salad) and the usual burger fixings of lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles. You can for sure customize the burger to your liking. Meat was definitely juicy but a bit salty. I will most likely hold off on the cheese the next time for any of their burgers too. The bun was not overpowering and complimented the 10oz patty very well. Interested in trying their other burgers but the rest of the menu is also worth coming back for! Their Haunted Tiki cocktail was excellent and Mai Tai-ish but better. Would be extra tasty if there was a smokiness to it. Not an Old Fashioned fan but took a sip from my Husband's Primo Old Fashioned and it was a step-up from the traditional, which I too enjoyed. Our bartender/server was excellent and attentive, and the environment was steadily busy. Would definitely stop by again.

Stopped here for lunch and the burgers were delicious. I typically don’t eat burgers, but I got the Elote Burger and it was so good. My burger was cooked to a medium and I give it a 4 cause it was a little dry. Overall it was a great combination of flavors and I enjoyed it still since the toppings made it moist. Also our server was also very nice and super attentive. Would love to come back and try out some other things I saw on the menu.

My friends and I went during a weekday. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Music was not blaring & the food was delicious! I ordered the Elotes burger, everyone wrote great reviews about it & it did not disappoint. My friends ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich, nachos, wings & the local burger.

Delicious burgers. I have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that $15 is the going rate for burgers but they taste great. I believe all the burgers are served on pretzel just an FYI if that's not your thing. Wings were also tasty.

Very good overall. Unfortunately I asked for the burger to be cooked medium rare and it came well done. The burger was dry because of this but it did have decent flavor. The bacon was very good. The only reason I might not go back is because the burger was was over cooked.

Wonderful experience. All the food is great and the servers are friendly and helpful. Make sure you do a reservation because you will not get a table just walking in. When making reservations, make sure to tell them if you want outside or inside since we were not asked that and wanted outside and were told we reserved a table inside even though we weren't asked. There were several tables outside but they would not give one up. Food is great and burgers are large and juicy.

Wow, just wow. Amazing fresh food from scratch. Well made mixologist-grade libations. Quick and friendly service, the floor itself was well managed and even though it was full, never looked too cramped, from a service point of view. Huge portions. Onion Rings as big as your ✊️ Order the Smothered "Tots", which are more like handmade potato rolls, fried and served "poutine" style with homemade queso and pulled pork. The order was huge, but well portioned with an excellent ingredients ratio. Enough for two or one hungry person as a meal. Great Decor, lots of TVs, but without sound, so it wasn't too noisy, and that was on a Saturday lunch. Pro Tip: Take an empty seat at the bar over waiting for a table, when its full it's FULL, not overcrowded, but the bar was spacious behind the seating(I'm a large guy) it felt roomier than the tables looked.

Amazing burgers, friendly service, and great atmosphere! The Burger Local offers a lot of unique and delicious burgers. Their choice to use fresh pretzel buns is excellent for the texture and taste. Their burgers and thick and juicy and seasoned well. My only critique is that the burger was fairly greasy and messy, but it was well worth it for one of the best tasting burgers I've ever had. For the choice of side, I recommend their mac and cheese, which is creamy and rich and comes with a touch of herbs and crumbs. Their regular fries are also good, but only about as good as fresh fried potatoes with sea salt get. I'd prefer battered fries myself, but their fries are good. I have not tried the truffle fries, which could be great, but I'm not a fan of truffles.

We had a wonderful time at The Burger Local! Drinks and food were great, and our server Megan was outstanding. Looking forward to coming back soon.
