I had a great experience during my time at Athletico - Downers Grove. My physical therapist was Suzanne Yassen. She was thorough, knowledgeable, but most importantly personable. A quality that you can't teach or earn through a DPT program. Every session I spent with her, I noticed an increase in range of motion, strength and reduction in pain. I recommend her highly. Also, thank you to Annette and Mason who helped with any billing or scheduling questions I had during my stay.

Can’t say enough GOOD things about the team at this Athletico! My therapist has worked miracles after (what I thought was) a minor car accident left me with a wonky right hand. She’s the neck and hand detective/miracle worker… You DO have to put in the work — both there AND at home. There’s quite a difference when I’m not diligent about doing the exercises at home. (They’re nicer to me about this than they should be!) Bonus that my therapist is fun and personable — really helps to get through the challenging stuff. All of the staff is friendly and helpful (and fun). Nice to always be greeted with a smile from Annette, too!

I tore my bicep tendon and had surgery to repair it. Suzy, my therapist, was fantastic! I stuck to her plan, did the work and today I walk away pain-free. Very thankful. I'd recommend her and this Downers Grove Athletico team for sure! Can't forget about Annette up front too. She was great with all the admin stuff.

I had a wonderful experience at Athletico rehabbing an ankle sprain. The staff is great to work with, engaging, and scheduling is easy. My therapist, Noah, was amazing. Suzy and Ysa are fantastic!!! I was in so much back pain when I came in my first day, to the point of tears. Now I am back running, working out, and enjoying life. Nothing but amazing things to say about the staff! So polite, professional, and helpful. 10/10. I’m happy to be recovered but sad to not see this amazing staff anymore.

Had very bad pain in my right knee they told me I had arthritis which is very painful and doesn't get any better so I've was told by my knee doctor to go to physical therapy and chose to go to athletico physical therapy on Ogden in downers Grove where I got the best treatment every from caring people that work there I had a very experienced therapist named Susan she mad Shure every exercise was done right and if it wasn't she would let you know which I like and that made me know there really care about there job and people I would highly recommend them I now have less pain now then I did before thanks to all there staff there .

Great place to heal! Great staff! Noah is very knowledgeable and friendly and was invaluable to my treatment. Both of my kids are in high school sports and have been treated here as well by Greg and were very well cared for.. Annette is great with scheduling and very helpful with the insurance. The staff is just amazing they make the experience super comfortable and easy. The community that is at the clinic is amazing. They work you to get back not only to where you were before but past that. I severely broke my ankle with lacrosse and now 3 months later I’ve been back to my varsity football season.

Very happy to be doing my PT with Brooklyn after a knee arthroscopy(meniscus tear). She is knowledgeable and professional with great bedside manners. Throughout my various exercises, she'll ask how i feel and do i feel it targeting the area. Brooklyn is encouraging and positive with reaching my goal with building strength in my knees again. I am confident she'll get me there! Athletico has a great team from the minute you walk thru the door, you are greeted by friendly receptionist who is very helpful with insurance info and scheduling. The Physical therapists work together as a team with great camaraderie.

I came to Athletico to rehab my knee after surgery on my meniscus. Suzy and team did a great job helping me understand my injury and rehab. Suzy did a great job helping me build up strength and get my range of motion back. I am back to running and feel great. Thanks for all the help!

The Athletico in Downers Grove is great especially Noah who is the PT that took care of my son. He was really thorough and assessed the injury quickly and my son is now back at football after only a few weeks of PT. He adjusted exercises to how my son was feeling at each visit. He was great and I highly recommend Athletico/Noah in Downers Grove!

Suzanne and Greg are both great, I came in with an injury and from their expertise and hands on approach, felt better after every visit. I could also see how Athletico takes pride in how they present themselves. The workers were fun and upbeat, the facility was clean and had plenty of room to do exercises. Made the experience very enjoyable!!

My son had PT with Suzy for 8 months due to ACL surgery. She was amazing. She always kept me updated and informed. She was also very helpful with insurance. They staff is always friendly and welcoming. They are very accommodating if an appt needs to be rescheduled. Can’t say enough good things about our experience.

I came to Athletico with severe mid back pain; and numbness and tingling of my left arm. My therapist Suzy very easily and quickly determined a plan of care for a 30+ year chronic problem with bulging cervical discs in my neck. Surgery had been recommended twice but I always opted for PT first, which was successful both times. This 3rd time was no exception. After spending the last 5-6 weeks with Suzy I am pain free with no tingling or numbness. Of course, continuing the exercises/stretches at home is important but considering the alternative for this condition, it is well worth the effort. A big thank you to Suzy and all the wonderful people at the D.G. location. Your expertise, professionalism, and enthusiasm for what you do is clearly evident.

My daughter had Suzy as her therapist. She was great! My daughter is a competitive gymnast and struggles with knee issues. Suzy put together a program that catered to gymnastics and we saw so much improvement with her knee pain.

The team at Athletico is amazing. I can't say enough about Greg and his team. After leg surgery I was barely managing crutches and within a few weeks I was back on 2 feet recovering and walking comfortably. Greg worked with me and provided his special brand of expertise, guidance, and support. In addition to my in-clinic physical therapy he was most encouraging and educational about home exercises. He encouraged me to push to progress in a strategic manner. The entire team is so nice and positive and would always greet me with a smile and kind word every week. What a pleasure to work with them all, appreciate all they did for me. Very clean and bright facility, extremely convenient for me. I can't recommend and thank the Athletico team enough for their professionalism and quality of service!!!

I've worked with Dr. Yassen before, so when I injured my elbow, I knew exactly who to contact to seek relief and restoration. As before, she and Athletico did not disappoint. Dr. Yassen assessed the problem with my elbow and suggested that there might be some other conditions which may have contributed to my condition. We established a plan of care and executed it. Net result; no more pain and full mobility restored. And I learned how to correct a related condition. Five stars!

I went to Athletico Physical Therapy pre and post knee surgery. Greg Heden was my therapist. He was very great at knowing when to push me to do more and when to let my knee rest. He communicated well what I could do at home to compliment what I was doing at therapy. He listened, and because of this, he was able to get my knee to 90% before my benefits ran out. He did give me exercises to do at home so I could strengthen the muscles surrounding my knee. He taught me how to figure out the difference between pain that signaled it was time to stop because of it, and pain that signaled I needed to push forward through it. Learning the difference between good pain and bad pain has been a key component in my continued recovery. I would highly recommend the team at Athletico and especially Greg.
