Finally found a delicious Mexican restaurant near me. I Ordered the pastor quesadillas and steak tacos. Had some chips and salsa, rice and beans on the side. The dishes were well served and most importantly the authentic flavor of a mexican dish. The service was great. I had Jamaica (hibiscus tea) and it was so refreshing. Can't wait to go back.

We had the privilege of being able to try special dishes from their home town in Mexico! We were treated like royalty and the food was delicious! I recommend this restaurant hands down! Thank you for your love and hospitality!

First time coming in. Service was quick and our food came out quickly too. Everything was fresh and made to order, and delicious! We tried out the flan and churros for dessert, and they were rich in flavor with beautiful plating. The flan was great consistency, and the churros we're made fresh to order. I had a chicken taco, steak taco, and a vegetarian taco for my meal. Each was packed with its own flavor. There were multiple sauces to compliment the meal. For a drink, I had their mango water, which was so refreshing and light. Great experience, I would recommend this to all my friends!

Might be one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever visited, not joking. Everything is homemade, even the cheese they make themselves! Homemade guac, salsa, chips, mango water and horchata, free refills... They don't start cooking anything until you order. This is not an expensive place, but it sure looks and tastes like it. All the ingredients they use are top notch, even my kid's burger was amazing! Then they gave us chocolate-covered strawberries at the end, how can you top that? This was an amazing find, an unexpected pleasure. Everyone working there was kind and helpful. Just go! You will thank me.

Visited with family for dinner. I got a Chicken Chimichanga which was of good size, tasted good and had a good amount of chicken in it. The only thing is that it seemed to just have chicken and cheese and nothing else. Other restaurants in the area are more creative with their burritos. Prices are reasonable. Service was slow but courteous and polite. We had ordered a few sides right along with the initial order but they were served towards the end when we were about getting close to leave. I had to remind them about it as well. Overall, good experience.

Cute Mexican place. Warm, authentic vibe, clean, and nicely decorated. Friendly staff and DELICIOUS food. I had an Al Pastor Taco, of course! The chips and salsa were the best. I'm definitely coming back. Gracias for being close to my house!

Nice small local Mexican restaurant. Their service is very friendly and they are taking all the precautions for Covid. They get busy with lot of take out order. Food was good but could have used some more spice. Shrimp taco was flavorful, and the chicken in chicken burrito was soft. The veggie burrito and veggie taco was mostly grilled vegetables and could use a lot of spice. They had complimentary chocolate strawberry which was a nice finish. Overall it was a good experience and nice food.

The best Mexican food I’ve ever had! The food was so flavorful and had the homemade vibes (literally- they even make their homemade oxacan cheese). The restaurant including the bathroom was incredibly clean. The waitress was so friendly and made sure she was checking in on us. My family and I ordered the guacamole, tacos, burrito, and the cheese quesadilla for the kids to split (which was huge!). Everything was so good! And to top it off- they even gave us complimentary chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. We will be regulars here for sure!

Update 9/23/2023 While this place has a very good menu and great variety. It’s hit and miss on some items. I loved their quesadillas and was excited to go back to try 2 other items for carryout. Sadly I was very disappointed. I write very credible reviews to help people make choices. Unfortunately, I have to update and take stars away. While they are using all fresh produce and bread items, the meat on both of the sandwiches was not that great (breaded chicken cermita, Milanese Beef torta). When ordering, I asked if they used real chicken breast on the cemita which the girl advised they did. Sorely the chicken was more of a super very thin processed pressed meat piece. I didn’t even taste chicken. The rest of everything on the sandwiches was very good. Basically it tasted better without the meat! After 1 bite, I threw the entire sandwich away. They need to significantly improve the chicken used in the sandwiches. Chicken should look and taste like a breast not look like a super thin light yellow pressed object. ———————— Cielo Mexican Grill is an excellent Schaumburg Hidden gem for sure! This is the best chicken quesadilla in Schaumburg! Firstly, warm chips are brought to the table by a friendly server.Their salsa has a little kick to it but not overly hot. I ordered the chicken quesadillas for starters. First off it was huge and took up almost the whole entire plate. They really give you a good amount of chicken and cheese! The delicious homemade oaxaca cheese was oozing out. Chicken (all breast meat) is very lightly seasoned. It’s served with fresh made guacamole, and a nice dollop of sour cream with a tomato onion salad too. They give you such generous portions here of everything on the plates. I can only imagine how tasty all the other menu items are! I can’t wait to come back with friends and try their other items. Tacos, fajitas, burritos, Chile relleno, cemita poblano’s, flauta’s and the 1/2 pound Mexican burgers are sure to be really delicious! They have a really nice desert menu but you’ll need to save room for it if you can. Prices are very inexpensive and the value you get is better than anywhere else I’ve been. They do catering and you can even have small parties there. The restaurant was very clean, neatly organized and service was both fast and friendly.
