When lodging becomes UBER expensive in Naples, you'll be forced to make tough decisions about the lower tier motels. I'm now reviewing those for you - whereas reviews typically are limited to the grievances and whims of a reviewer for that ONE location, I am reviewing these lower tiers - like a "best of breed" assessment (breed being cheap motels). If I'm staying in a cheap motel like Conty's, I want to see wood floors (not carpet - bedbugs can get out of control in carpet), mattresses that are not very old (again, bed bugs and other critter populations grow over time), and the maintenance of the room's against basic wear and tear like stains, etc (maintenance guy work). Conty's is in my Top Three (of Naples "cheap" motels), mostly due to the "cultural" value it has (by "culture" - on many nights you'll find Cuban met outside with a barbeque. drinking wine, sometimes playing Dominoes or playing cards - etc.). I like the vibe created by these locals. Conty's has an "open" feel that I like - meaning you can park in front of your room (if your car is full of valuables, need to carry stuff, etc). The upkeep in the rooms is not anywhere a place like the Hilton, but the floors are NOT carpet (at least not in the room I was in), the mattresses felt like they had (or were) losing their spring (they don't replace them frequently), but they were not dirty. The bottom of the cheap motel tier will often be so ridden with bedbugs that you can feel them biting you when you're just hanging out. Not with Conty's. Location is not exactly central, but depends on what you want to be near. On Tamiani - about 5+ miles west of exit 101 (I-75), this is not a convenient location for the interstate warriers. But if you have a reason to be in this area, you're not going to find another motel in this price tier that is adequate. If you came across Conty's because it's one of the few remaining locations with vacancy that is affordable - you may want to look at Spinnaker's (right off I-75 and Pine Ridge) if the central location is of any value. It takes a good minute to get to Conty's and there is really nothing out there and it is a trip to get to and from anywhere else - WITH THE EXCEPTION of downtown / 5th street (about 10-15 min drive - straight shot down Tamiani). I'll come back in the future and edit this when I have more insights. Message me if you have more questions!

My friend and I stayed 2 nights. The place has potential to be nice. Horrible old towels, sheets, and blankets. Do NOT walk barefoot because the floor is filthy. Mini fridge had water leaking. Outlets do not work. Shower had mold and no hot water. Toilet seat was broken. Different people were coming and going in the room next to us. Mattresses should have been replaced years ago. Unable to communicate with staff as they did not speak English. Always keep your door locked as a man walked into my room as I was getting dressed. He didn't apologize, he then went to the room next to us...stayed a little then left.

At first, I saw the reviews and thought “this might not be good” but I was so wrong! I’m not sure why everyone was so crazy in the reviews, one person complained about the pillows? And an outlet not being by the wall? Well there’s nice pillows in here. An outlet in the wall. The place is SO clean! Typical mom and pop FAMILY motel - so don’t expect it to be the Hilton!! For a refrigerator and microwave to be in the room was a blessing since I brought leftover iHop. Inside the office, they were a bit strict on wearing a mask and although I disagree, I’m sure many older guests might like that. The rooms are actually aired out between guests and they use a machine to remove oxygen! How cool! The cable TV is better than the last hotel I went to (I’ve been to 3, the days inn, vista, and now here). The remote is wrapped in plastic which at first I thought was funny, but they actually probably clean them after every use!!! So they clean the plastic and no liquid goes in the remote. You really get care and love from this location and they value us customers. I even asked about the reviews, and before taking my money, was reminded of a no refund policy! It was great! You know, some people just love to complain, but someday I would like to own a motel like this and I can’t say that there’s anything I would do better. There is wifi too and the AC blows cool! Nice tile shower and For this area it is a fair rate. -G Edit: no bugs spotted - but I DID see one at a different much larger hotel! So I will vouch they are clean - bugless and if I see one I will edit this review. Hard in wet Florida to not have bugs and I am visiting in feb so I think what they should do is when they air out the rooms before a guest comes, put a screen door so nothing can jump in!!! Edit: 10pm approximately I unfortunately saw a roach scurry around the trash can. This needs to be handled ASAP and is much more important than covid masking. Roaches crawl through trash, sewers, and all over the floor. To sleep in a room and maybe wake up to a roach in bed would not be a good morning. Also, checkout is at 10am, an hour earlier than any other place… wifi signal also REALLY bad.. so, -2 stars brings it to 3 stars :/ UPDATE: 1130 and went into bathroom. Saw 2 more roaches then a third on the sink. Now have to sleep with bathroom closed… this is crazy for $140 it should be $49 It is what it is.

This was a nice find, definitely had a vintage feel. The front desk guy was curt but the room was spacious. There were some crickets and flys inside the room and it could use a few updates, the mattresses were pretty soft and were only doubles but it was a decent place to stay. There was noise from the neighbors however.

Didn't stay. DON'T STAY THERE! Had a reservation thru Priceline and when arrived the manager had the reservation but said it was overbooked - he didn't have a room. I started to call Priceline and he then said that he may have a room......English isn't his first language and customer service is not in his skill set and said NO - NO ROOM FOR YOU. Doesn't matter that you have a prepaid reservation.

Could be great - the outward appearance of the motel is charming. The pillows on the bed were throw pillows with permanent covers. Luckily I had a pillow that I travel with because the thought of putting my bare face down on these grubby throw pillows was just gross. The remote does not turn on the television. When I asked at the office the desk clerk said I had to turn the TV on with a button, when I asked where the button was he didn’t know and didn’t care. I finally found the button on the back of the TV and then the remote did not work to change the channel. Gave up and surfed the net. Full size refrigerator and microwave. No coffee maker. There isn’t any outlet near the bed so if you want to charge your phone or tablet you can’t. What outlets there are in the room are loose and wobbly. Some outlet covers were coming off. The air conditioner was hard to set as only portions of the display worked so you had no idea what temp you were setting it at. Would not recommend for the price. I was too tired to go further but I should have.

Listen. It’s a $140 a night for a 4 person room. You get what you pay and then some. Room was clean enough and everything worked as it should, ac blew cold, shower got hot, tv turned on etc. Staff was polite and consistently seen cleaning around the area. Included breakfast was a plus but beggars can’t be choosers, don’t expect the Ritz.

Freddy is great! Enthousiastic guy and good service! Nice pool for the kids. Maybe they should throw out old stuff that is hanging around at a few places. And to put some plants in the pots standing there, would also give it a nice look.

I'm actually sitting in my room right now as I write this review. The room is clean when we checked in and the cleaning person tidied up for us while we were out. The check in was easy and the owner was polite and helpful. The ac is cold, beds adequate, and the room was roomy enough for the 4 of us. The mini fridge was really big and they had a fold out bed as well. We are pleased with our room. Plus the price is very reasonable and the location is top notch. It's not the Ritz Carlton but, it's not the Red Roof Inn either. Perfectly comfortable and adequate.

Check in went well ... but kinda weird to be handed the remotes at the counter. Following attempts to summarize: - No hot water. Ever. Sink or Shower - Smallest thinnest bath towels I've ever seen. Sheer! - Toilet Paper - also SHEER! - Huge piles of "stuff"....flakes, food, god knows what else at the base of the bed - Guy above us walked ALL NIGHT....with boots on...back and forth .... did I say ALL NIGHT - I called the front desk to ask what time breakfast was served, as the website was filled with pics of coffee, danish, etc. He laughed at me and said there was NO BREAKFAST. He didn't care about the legacy pics at all. The place is nothing like any of the pics. Totally misleading. Go somewhere else!!!!
