What a fun spot! If the gate near the polish cemetery is open you can drive all the way there, otherwise it’s around a 1 km walk to get to the restaurant/brewery from the parking lot. We walked and enjoyed the scenery. The menu was handwritten and seasonal and the food was homemade and delicious! We tried the pumpkin ravioli, wild boar ragù gnocchi and strozzapreti alla norcina and everything was delicious! My husband enjoyed the beer! A nice way to spend the afternoon - wish we would’ve brought our dog!

Wonderful venue for lunch up high in the hills. Fabulous welcome Great seating area Extensive menu cooked on site (you see the chefs through glass panels) all home cooked Top Tip:- Homemade Lasagne to die for!! Washed down with beer from the adjoining brewery Very reasonable costs and take away beer boxes Highly recommended if looking for something different in the hills We sat inside (poor weather) but outside seating area for food & drinks is fabulous too Go!

Had the set menu, was an amazing example of local style foods. Reasonably priced especially for the amount and quality Was a great way to finish our trip around the monastery and surrounds

The beer (only a blonde ale and a wheat (wit)) were offered in bottles. Both were excellent. We emailed the brewery hoping to get a tour and although they were open for beer sales, no tour was available. Restaurant wasnt open during the day either. Place has promise as it looks like they are expanding to include more artisanal products. I like that its far down a walking path but you can drive there just past the Polish cemetary near the abbey. They are only open during the day.

Excellent pub. Place just right for a walk, 3 km from the parking lot under the cemetery Monte Cassino. It is important to know that you can also drive by car until 17:00 when the gate is open. The staff of the brewery speaks English and Italian. The environment is quiet and the view is breathtaking. A kraft beer with a softer note is just the thing to quench the thirst after a long walk. I would recommend it is really worth it

Relatively new place opening only a couple of years ago which is why on our many travels to Cassino, we hadn't known of its existence! We spoke with the master brewer who explained about the types of beer being brewed. We bought our large wooden box stuffed with goodies and which i thought was for a reasonable price. (As a guide, a bottle of beer sells for €4. Blonde and amber available now with a new type available in a few months). As for the area, i understand there is a bar/restaurant on site too as well as the micro brewery, but we never sampled these on our visit. For visitors hoping to take this in, you can easily access it from the car park at the Polish Cemetery. There is a gate for Parco Monte Aurunci which is a gateway for many walks to various monuments in the area. Even when you get to the brewery, there are some walks availabke from there such as to Cavendish Road and Polish war monuments. The road is single track and passable by car (just hope there are none coming in the opposite direction!) but it would also make for a lovely walk up to the brewery. Also, it is very near the site to the ruin of monastero di Santa Maria dell'Albaneta with a little bit of history to this ancient building. Salute!
