Such a pleasant surprise! We had to cancel some plans and quickly locate a restaurant near the hotel. We arrived near opening dinner time and were immediately seated without reservations. Service was polite and professional, easy to communicate in English. I had the seafood spaghetti followed by a portion of fried anchovies with lemon. My companion had a pizza Diavolo followed by a chocolate/Nutella dessert. Everything tasted great, and the seafood spaghetti was one of the best I had in y life. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and well-decorated. If you are staying near the main train station in Napoli, I would highly recommend this place.

Foods were nice, service and prices were regular, the interior atmosphere was warm. It’s a rather popular restaurant that was recommended by our host. We had tried twice to finally got the place at two different days. We successfully made it because we were there waiting when the restaurant was just opened. Here the foreign guests have to use QR to read menu in different languages. To order vegetarian dishes was not that easy from main courses, besides I didn’t want to eat much carbohydrates such as pizza or pasta at night. Thereby I found some side dishes were tasty and good enough to suit my need. Anyway overall things had been flown speedy, and it’s clear to me that the place is not for relaxing, it’s more like an Food Express. As a matter of fact, we had been informed that we had to finish our dinner in a hour because next guests booked this table already.

Was not very impressed with the flavours of the food. The pasta was cooked perfect and the dishes looked amazing but personally felt the dishes we chose lacked flavour and was slightly more expensive compared to other restaurants I tried in Napoli. Left me a little disappointed. The server was flabbergasted when I asked to change one of my dishes and I guess the whole restaurant was aware of some issue at our table even though I tried to placate him by saying that it could completely just be me not appreciating the dish and not the dish itself that was the issue.

This is the BEST seafood pasta I've had throughout my 4 days in Naples (it's the Linguine Allo Scoglio in the menu). It's got everything right - generous serving of FRESH seafood, al dente pasta, tasty seafood sauce and a very reasonable price. I also ordered the grilled squid, which was equally amazing. The squid is not chewy at all, and the lightly charred bits mixed with light sea salt accentuates the freshness without overpowering it. My only regret is finding this restaurant on my last day in Naples and couldn't come back for a 2nd visit. Top tip: make a reservation for this place, especially if you come in a big group. My wife and I came without any reservations and the restaurant was PACKED on a weekday night. We had to wait in line for a few minutes but it's absolutely worth it.

Cosy little Italian restaurant. Pleasant atmosphere and super delicious food. We have been there shortly after opening at 19 o‘clock and had a table at a gallery with a view all over the restaurant. As starter we took the mozzarella Buffala. Main dishes were Carbonara and Pizza Margarita. Finished all with a Tiramisu. Also had a good white wine and all that for less than 50€. Great value for money.

Nice place next to the main train station. Very tasty Italian cuisine. Excellent see food / pizza and other dishes. Be aware that in the dinner time you need to book tape in advance , it is fully ovulated.

I wish I could give 6 stars. I was just looking for some decent pizza near where we were staying and I really lucked out. The antipasti, the drinks, the pizza—it was all fantastic. And the service was really good, especially compared to some of the restaurants we’d been to in Northern Italy.

Best restaurant, best food in Italy, best service. Family restaurant, the servers are great! Andrea received us with great attention and answered all our doubts. We opted for the tasting of parmigianas, VERY delicious and Mezzanelli a lá Genovese (the trophy-winning dish of the house), simply delicious. The bill including a bottle of DOCG wine was €36 for two people. I highly recommend it, be sure to visit the place on your visit to Naples.

We tried this place on our first day in Naples as three different locals had suggested this place to us. We were not disappointed. I had pasta with red prawns which were not on the menu as they had just arrived from the morning’s catch. My husband had pasta with ragu which had been cooking on the stove for days. We also shared a plate of fried anchovies and two dishes of mozzarella bufala…just because they were so good! Besides great food, the service was fantastic. The owners were friendly and lovely. My son was upset and was crying, the owner gave him a little ball of dough to play with and that cheered him up instantly! If you want amazing Napolitan food, this place is a must go. My husband is Italian and he gives this place 100/100.

Amazing is the best word to describe our experience, Helpful and nice staff and the food was incredible! We ordered the pasta genovese and a margarita pizza and shared. Make sure to book a table since they are full every night !

Honestly, the best place we visited in Naples. The waiters were super friendly and even though it was fully booked they offered us a table for 1 hour until next reservation. Unlike other places where after we were seated all waiters seemed to avoid us and served with a frown, everyone here was super friendly and smiling all the time. The food was amazing, we had pizza, pasta and something new to me which was awesome! Ask for it (in the pic), its worth it! The vibe in the restaurant was really authentic Italian and calm. Price wise, its relatively cheap, for 35 euros we had 3 full meals and 2 soft drinks. In and out in an hour. Definitely would recommend, but make a reservation so you have plenty of time to enjoy your food and stay!

Gem of a restaurant. The family and staff that run the place are so kind and attentive. My friends and I went over the course of our time in Napoli several times. The food is all made to order and is hot and fresh each time. So very enjoyable! Strongly recommend.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food we got was very delicious, I never imagined I would like anchovies so much. The restaurant was recommended to us by a local, and it did not disappoint.

The octopus linguine was delicious according to my partner, the ribs I ordered were tasty too. The pomodoro bruschette were messy but that's to be expected! All by all a nice experience.

This place is a family business and has a very unique atmosphere. We liked the food as well as the service very much. It’s definitely worth coming. But be ready to wait a bit in the line if you don’t have a reservation.

The BEST meal we’ve had in Italy!! The carbonara was just sensational. The service is super friendly and the restaurant interior is beautiful. Thank you for a great experience

Cannot fault this place! The staff were friendly and attentive and spoke well to us in English. We didn't have a reservation but arrived at 7 and they fit us in without issue. The beer was delicious, the Carbonara was amazing, and the Mezzanelli Napulè was also fantastic. We had cheesecake for pudding and it was the lightest cheesecake I've had and I was so full but had to finish it all. Would definitely visit again.

So we were only in Naples a few hours waiting for a train and looking for dinner, reviews were good, so we thought we would give it a try. Well we got there at 7:15 pm and we were told it was full from reservations, and could make one for 9 pm, which didn't work for us, but as we were leaving the owner came out and asked us to wait a minute, and double checked their book, and saw they had a cancellation, so we were able to get a table for 2. I don't recall what my wife had, but it was some sort of soup with potatoes in it. I had spaghetti with basil. My wife loved her food!!! Mine was pretty good too, she also loved mine, the sauce reminded her of her Italian grandma's sauce. My wife also had some sort of pistachio dessert, it was round, sort of like a hard glaze over creme filling. She loved that too. Basically it was her favorite place we ate at all week while in Rome. Sorry no picture of dessert, she was so excited for it, I didn't have time to take one

You should definitely visit this restaurant:)))) The beef with rib, fresh potato chips and side salad were all delicious. The beef was so big so my family members could all have some of it. We will go here again before heading home to Sweden, as both me, my husband and our two teenage daughters loved the food.

The best carbonara I have ever had! Also the desert was from another world. Very classy and the vibe seemed so italian like you see in the movies.

The linguine al scoglio is amazing, the tuna fillet with caramelized onion jam is too and I would highly recommend the parmeggiana vegetables appetizer. Great atmosphere, feels like a family owned restaurant that cares about quality and delicious meals. We came without reservation around 7:20 p.m. and got a table for 2 easily. The price range is reasonable for the quality of the food. Definitely worth the try.

Unassuming resto with great food. I came here during lunch so not crowded yet but I suggest coming in early for dinner or make a reservation as it can get very crowded at night. Food was delicious and value for money. I had one of the best fried seafood mix and eggplant/aubergine parmigiana.

Amazing restaurant near the station. Family owned, great place, good prices and the most important: Delicious food! Book a table, it's always full. We got luck 2 times going there 7:20 and we found table.

Best adress in Naples ! Excellent variety and quality of dinner, with good service and at very reasonable price. We had several dishes: starter , primi, secondi, dessert, and all were outstanding. Good wine by the glass. My best dinner in naples for sure

Such a great find near our hotel! We got friarielli and bruschetta as a starter, followed by the seafood linguine and genovese pizza. Everything was delicious. The portion of the pasta was actually huge and full of all kinds of super fresh seafood. The place itself feels very cosy and service was good. Would highly recommend if you're near Napoli Centrale/Garibaldi stations

This was our first stop off of the train. We were so hungry and needed to find some food before heading to our hotel. Upon looking at reviews, we settled on Antica and made our way. We were not disappointed. Incredibly friendly staff, cheap pizzas, and perhaps one of the tastiest meals I have had in a long time. We only ordered pizza, but our experience drives us to want to return. Thank you!

OMG! This is the best place we ate during our trip in Italy. Even the restaurants in Positano don't compare. The taste is perfect and the food is so cheap.

We visited this place twice. It truly is a hidden gem with Napoli! A family run business, the food tastes as authentic as those who serve it to you. Grazie Mille for the wonderful experience!
