If I could I would give this place a 100/5 stars. I have never in my life had anything so delicious. The food, the wine and the friendly and homey atmosphere were the best. Best restaurant in Napoli, no doubt. 0.5l of wine, 0,66l of beer and two pasta dishes less than 15€.

Really homey hole in the wall spot that is part convenience shop part restaurant. The owners were incredibly friendly and helped me navigate the menu. Got a pasta with peas and it was delicious albeit a tad too salty for me. Really great prices (4.5euro for a pasta!) and felt like I was getting a glimpse into local life.

Excellent atmosphere. Anna took great care of us and is hilarious. Feels like going to an old friend’s house. The food is excellent and fresh. Be warned Anna’s mum will be upset if you don’t finish your plate

Anna was a great host. The food was excellent. She recommended her restaurant specialities so we ordered them and they were really good too. We would happily visit again.

This place is very welcoming and the food is delicious. Ran buy a lovely friendly couple who will help you even if you cannot speak Italian. And it's amazing value. The food was so good we didn't even remember to take a picture.

The best value for money meal you could have in Naples! Anna welcomes guests with a smile in her small trattoria (partly grocery shop) while her mother cooks different homemade dishes every day. The quality is great and the servings are more than satisfying. The wine is also tasty and incredibly cheap. Make sure you try the homemade tiramisu! I would definitely come back and I highly recommend it!

Excellent authentic local Italian food.

The most amazing food and experience came today to get out of heat and found this gem. From the service to food, it was just amazing!! They treat us like family even helped us with a taxi (as we struggle with italian). The nicest place we have visited in naples!! We will surely come again for some more of that food and the above and beyond friendly service and welcome!!!

Just the authentic Italian food I was looking for. It's literally a mom and pop running this place. The menu as others say, is what they have that's fresh. So basically you're just coming over to an Italian couple's place for a meal. They barely speak any English but were incredibly friendly from beginning to end and we had a conversation with the handful of words we had in common. The price for a glass of wine, a slice of lasagna, and a dessert was 10 euro--can't beat that!

My partner and I ate here for an early dinner. Don’t let google fool you - the restaurant is open until 7.30pm. We had a fantastic experience, served by the wonderful host Anna. The food was really good, and very reasonably priced. The wine was also extremely well priced and tasty. We highly recommend.

One of the best restaurants we have been in Naples! The dishes were delicious, they tasted like proper fresh homemade food. Ana is a very welcoming and energetic person, she made us feel super comfortable. When we said we're form Brazil she got very excited about it. It was such a nice experience eating there 🍝 We were in Naples for a few days and we went to this restaurant twice! Amazing food, service and good prices.

I highly recommend this cute little restaurant! It’s a really authentic family driven restaurant with amazing food and kind people. The prices are cheap and the vibe is local. Me and my friend had lunch and all the dishes were amazing!!! And the chef (mother of the family) saved a piece of cake for us, so thoughtful. Definitely on of the best places we tried in Naples. We will come back 😊

One of the best dining experiences in Italy. Great hostess Ana made us feel welcomed and brought us exceptional food. Delicious, made with love and healthy portions (we were starving, having travelled from Florence that day). All kinds of wine by the glass to try. Not “tourist” prices either. So glad we found this place. Will try to return.

Such a cozy local restaurant with very good napolitain foods and not far away from central station. Owner lady is also super nice and welcoming who speaks good English. Definitely need to visit to have this local foodie experience!

This was like a trattoria experience from a novel. We found this wonderful place at the last minute, felt like family, and the food was perfect.

Amazing authentic Italian meal for two and a carafe of wine for €24. Definitely order the ragu pasta. The couple who serve and cook for you are adorable.

came in for a quick lunch and was served by the friendliest couple. felt like we were having a simple homecooked meal but it was satisfying! we ordered the ragu pasta and potato pasta - both were cooked just right. restaurant is tucked away in a little store, one of the most affordable options in Naples.

Nice place with local food

Was in Naples for a quick overnight stay before the airport. Found this amazing little restaurant/shop while walking around. The owners were very patient with our lack of Italian and very helpful. The food was great! The atmosphere was very laid back and local. And the prices were shockingly low. What a little gem hidden in the streets. If your looking for a good local bite of food, so yourself a favor and find this spot. You wont be sorry.

Hearty meal at La Cantinetta and the wine have much variety here. The meats were simple but it grows on you as you eat them, must be the ragu on it. We asked for vongole which was not on the menu today and the guy ran out to get clams for us. Clams were so brine-y and fresh as well as the favour of base stock. What a great service and a special touch. The uncle taking care of the restaurant was such a nice and patient man. Would highly recommend for such a hearty place to visit

A beautiful family run restaurant tucked away in a quite street. We arrived late, just as the owners were closing up but they invited us in, insisting we eat. We were cooked an off menu pasta dish due to our allergies to seafood. I have never been to a more hospitable restaurant! We didn't speak Italian, they didn't speak English. We had a beautiful conversation via Google translate. Simply, lovely!

Amazing place with lovely atmosphere. The food is very good and genuine, the prices are great - 1€ for a glass of wine, 4-6€ for pasta. The owners are hospitable and customer-oriented - we came before the place was open for dinner and were welcomed by them and served.

The best octopus and pasta we had our whole trip. They even went to go get new gelato just for us when they ran out. A must try!

Extremely friendly and kind service and unpretentious tasty food! They even gave a piece of delicious cake for free when they - and I - realised I accidentally ordered something savory for dessert with my rusty Italian :D

This was easily one of the best meals we had in Italy. The setting was comfortable and cozy and the restaurant owner Anna was so lovely and welcoming. We didn't speak Italian but it wasn't an issue. We ordered 2 pasta dishes, the meatballs (a must order!) , squid and tiramisu. Everything was delicious and our only regret was not having enough stomach space to order more. Thanks Anna for the lovely meal! We hope to be back again someday (:

Perfect hole in the wall venue that is an incredibly unassuming and amazing place to dine at. The place is small and only has a few tables, and shares part of the shop space with a convenience store, which is also managed by the restaurant staff. Dining here was the easily best choice we made in Naples. This restaurant beats the more expensive italian restaurants in the area, hands down. Anna was a great host and made us feel really comfortable, and this place served the best italian food we have ever had. Her sincerity and kindness could be felt and it was a very homely feeling, especially when you are a tourist. The only regret we had when we were leaving the restaurant, was that we did not order more dishes to try from the menu. The meatballs and frutti di mare are must orders. They also had wines which were delicious! 10/10 We would fly back to Naples just to dine here again.
