The Church is a beautiful and charming B&B right in the heart of old Naples. After you climb to the top of an old palazzo, you are treated to a series of rooms tastefully decorated with a personal touch. There is also a shared common space and terrace where you can browse through the owner’s diverse collection of music. The walls are decorated with creative photography and art that really make you feel as if you’re truly staying in someone’s home. And when you’re ready to explore the city, everything is right outside the front door within easy walking distance. Treat yourself to a few days at the Church and then get lost in Naples knowing you have a home to come back to.

Such wonderful people and very welcoming. They were eager to help us plan our stay in Naples and had plenty of useful suggestions. The place is wonderfully quiet too. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Naples.

We stayed for five of nights and honestly you couldn't find a better B&B in the centre of the Greek District (Historic Centre) of Naples. It is a great place to see the Amalfi coast, Pompeii/ Herculaneum and capri, with Naples itself being a short walk through the hectic streets to both the port, Beach front and Train station. The owners refer to the Church as an island of silence in the chaos of Naples, and we couldnt agree more. The room is stylishly minimal and clean with all the necessities to keep you cool in a 35c summer. My Girlfriend and I loved the balcony which is great for beautiful breakfasts as well as romantic dinners. The only negative we can think of for others is purely a result of the 14th century architecture- the 5 flights of stairs- a trend in the ancient city of Naples . With that only exception we loved our time at the Church, as well as Naples, and will be visiting again.

In spite of the full lock-down imposed in Campania due to the surge in COVID-cases in November/December, and in contravention to italian legislation, The Church refused to provide reimbursement or even to postpone our booking. Instead they suddenly withdrew the full amount (€199.50) a few hours after I sent my request for postponing the booking. I would have been happy to come later, but was instead scammed. A formal complaint will be filed.

2 stars for the location and nice terrasse. Bedooms are barely furnished and very dusty. Bathrooms and toilets are shared with neighbouring rooms and VERY dirty. The lady at the reception was very nice and helpful.
