Such a great hostel and well worth the price. Safety and cleanliness are obvious care points for this hostel which was key for me as a solo female traveller. The staff take such great care of you & the included breakfast is so amazing, it got me out of bed every morning! You have easy walking access to the most historic parts of the city and they give you all the info you may need to have the best time in Naples. Can’t recommend this place enough!

No wonder the hostel has got many awards. Staffs are really helpful. I was greeted by Raven who explained all the rules and for the first time someone takes you to the room and shows around other amenities. Hostel is in the central location (few minutes from the Napoli Central Station). Hostel is clean, towels are not provided but can be rented. Overall a great hostel. If you travel to the hostel on the weekends, you might be lucky to have small party to meet other travellers

Hostel Mancini is a nice hostel located in a street very close to the train station and the city center. Positif points : - It is close to the train station. - It is close to the city center. - The kitchen and the dining room are quite nice. - There is a place to do your laundry. - There is free breakfast every morning. - There is air conditioning in the room. - The Wi-Fi works in the room. - Every bed has a little light and an outlet to recharge an electronic device. - Every bed has a locker for the suitcase (but no padlock - do not forget yours). - We had a private handicap-friendly restroom in our shared bedroom. - We also could go in a more conventional restroom in the corridor. - We could easily hang our clothes in the restroom before taking a shower. - When I arrived, the man who worked at the front desk gave me some tips on what to visit and where to go to eat authentic Neapolitan pizzas. - I slept well. - On check out day, I could store my luggage in the front desk room before to take my plane which was in the afternoon. - There is a timetable on a wall for the bus shuttle (to go from the main train station to the airport) Negative points : - Expensive for a shared bedroom (1 night in a 6 people shared bedroom = +- 60,00 €). - There is a 10,00 € deposit for the keys, I didn't know it and I didn't have cash with me (but they were friendly enough to give me the keys anyway, I came the day after to leave my deposit). - The street where the Hostel is located is very dirty and does not seems safe at all even tho it is located next to the main train station in Naples. The evening when I arrived, there was a huge pile of garbage in the street. - The building's main entrance does not feel safe and clean either. - There is no bar in the hostel. - There is no pool table in the hostel. - I didn't really make any friend (but I didn't stay that long tho) - It is expensive to do your laundry. - The bedroom wasn't that confortable. - The private restroom in our shared bedroom wasn't that clean. - I went in different hostels, and in some of them, they had installed curtains for each bed, so people could have some privacy in the shared bedroom. Unfortunately, in Hostel Mancini, it was not the case.

The place is great but some of the staff are pretty rude. Currently there is no a confortable place to sit but there is one sofa by the reception desk, the only one. I sat there and they told me I couldn't do it because it's just for checking in. So I had to go to my bed to read a book. Today I got for breakfast two minutes before 8:00 and a grumpy old man with white hair and white beard starting shouting at me. I don't know what he said cause I don't speak Italian but he was really scary.

My introduction to Europe was through Hostel Mancini. I enjoyed my time at the hostel. Very clean and felt at home, it is run by a sweet family Mr.Alfredo really helped me find a place. We would watch Indian movies at night and have pasta nights and much more. I like it there you would too. Have a happy stay. Ciao !

Staff are warm, welcoming and willing to offer tips and travel advice. Atmosphere is friendly. The breakfasts are great. Location is convenient. Would highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay at Hostel Mancini in Napoli. At first I was a bit unsure about since the area seemed a bit rough. Once inside, I realized quite quickly that the place is very secure, that the interior is nice, cozy, and clean, and that the owner and staff are really friendly and great. The kitchen and dining area are nice and are fully stocked with most utensils, kitchenware, and appliances you might need. They have a continental-style breakfast every morning for free that is decent. The beds are comfortable and the staff cleans frequently. There are two bathrooms on every floor, as well as a shower. I had no issue with check-in and check-out, found my roommates friendly and easygoing, and all had an all-around great stay. Highly recommend it!

Lovely hostel, friendly reception staff and good facilities. We were in a 2 bed private dorm with shared bathroom and the room was lovely, had a sink (although slight risk of being bitten since you're in Naples and by the sea!). Free breakfast given every morning with a generous amount of food to choose from, covid measures in place too! Hostel staff seemed unaware you can still buy cheaper tickets in person rather than online or through them so be sure to check this out before paying at the hostel for something!

Clean, nice bathrooms, good prices, helpful :) The only 4 star would be location but any time you stay by a terminal the streets will be messy, period. And I wish the toilets had bidet. In my experience the area is messy but not too dangerous and perfect access to Napoli terminal for metro and train to Rome. Also just a couple blocks down from the more touristy city center and a nice walk to Subterranea and other cool things. I would stay again, the location worked out perfectly for me! All digital keys made entry really easy.

This hostel is so awful! Please, if you can do something better to yourself, just skip this place! The service is terrible, the sheets and mattresses are impregnated with insects/ bed bugs, that give a lot of allergies, the price is expensive and do not help at all! I wish I could have my money back. And in the day I stayed, I was also robbed in the neighbourhood. The location is really dangerous :(

What you'd want in a cheap hostel. Staff is very friendly, rooms are comfortable, breakfast spread is very solid. Many other solo travellers, made a great group of friends but maybe I got lucky.

I recommend definitely the hostel Mancini Naples, it is a clean hostel with a cool staff. It is also not far from the city center. 5 mins from the best and the oldest Pizzeria in Naples, The Antica Pizza de Michele.

I am super satisfied with the accommodation! Its near bus station, but in any moment I didnt felt unsecured even If I traveled alone. Very clean, hygienic and spacious room. I could also check earlier than time I supposed to. Friendly staff and spotless. I was welcomed at the reception by a kind man Stevo with who I had pleasant conversation. I will definitely come back and suggest to my friends!

Didnt like this Hostel, its got a poor vibe, minimalist shared areas and i killed a bed bug, hostel is close to the station, though i recommend just going a little further to a nicer one. It was quiet, perhaps to quiet as not many guest were there.

I spent 2 nights at this place the location is good breakfast good . Staff who’s working in the day time are lovely people they made my trip very easy they gave a lot of tips how to visit the city and around But I was disappointed of the night Receptionist he was shouting and angry because I asked for extra cushion. He didn’t smile or give any welcome signal. This the black point of my trip to Napoli

Staff was beyond wonderful. They were all super friendly and helpful in helping me get around and made excellent t suggestions. They welcomed me with a lemoncello shot which brought a huge ole to my face! The room and bathrooms were clean and modern. Location was prime but the staff was the best best part! Thank you for a wonderful stay and superior suggestions!

I stayed a few nights in a mixed dorm but will never come back. A couple next to me was having "an adult time" so loud with their garments flying everywhere and I asked the hostel owner next morning if he could kindly remind them that this is a dorm room. Unfortunately he just told me: "no you chose to stay at a hostel".

the best hostels i’ve ever been. the staff was the best part of it, jesi and jime were the best host ever. they have so many activities, on the weekends they make gatherings so you can meet new people and after they take you to a bar and have fun. the rooms are very spacious, the kitchen as well and they have a tv room with ps and xbox 5/5

Its a hostel so you know exactly what to expect. The beds were comfy and the rooms was clean. The price was great and the location is hard to beat. I would stay here again no problem.

BEST hostel ever ❤️🤍💚 i stayed 8 nights here and was super well taken care of by the awesome staff- i felt like they really cared abt my well being.. the area near the train station is super convenient to do day trips to pompeii or the beach in sorrento, the airport bus also stops there. spaca napoli (famous lively street), da michele (famous pizza) etc are all super close… the staff also arranged a stay for me in ischia with a great discount, the breakfast is much better than other hostels ive been to. the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the AC is a life saver (naples gets hottt) - ive never felt so at home in a hostel! and what really surprised me is that all the guests i met during my stay were super cool, open minded and just wonderful people… i made some friends for life there even though it was just a matter of days! highly recommend for solo travellers - you will find great people immediately and wont be bored or lonely! i am definitely coming back 🌞✌🏼

Best decision ever to stay here! I arrived at night and was scared out of my wits because i had to go down this one lane that didnt look too safe. I almost turned back around until i saw the sign post with the arrow showing where the hostel would be. But once i was inside, i felt absolutely safe. Loved everything, the warm and friendly receptionists, how close to Napoli Centrale and the subway it is, how honest with pricing they are, clean beds, clean washrooms, welcoming dining area, etc. I can't stop praising this place. Thank you for being a home away from a home.

Everything was clean, the breakfast is really consistent and you have the chance to meet a lot of people because it's one of the most popular places in Naples. The location is not great, the street is scary and dirty but usually nothing happens and you can go out. Or at least while I was there it seemed like that.

Great hostel! The owners are very helpful and kind, they are helping me plan my trip and giving me great tips. The area is very convenient being so close to the station and a 20 minute walk to the port where you can take the ferries to any Island or do daytrips to Amalfy coast, Pompeii and Vesuvius. It is also very close to the historic center! The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are spacious and have everything you need, outlet next to the bed, hangers and closet space, the bathroom is inside the 4 and it is large and very clean, even have a hairdryer! There is also balcony and AC. Breakfast is very good! There is a lounge room with a TV to chill out. The hostel it's on the second floor with an elevator. I truly recommend this Hostel 👍

We stayed in this hostel as it offers a "guesthouse" experience, private double room with a breakfast. Location is convenient, if you arrive by train or plane. Though the surroundings look a bit shabby and shady, be careful after dark. Room was simple but comfortable and the similar can be said about the breakfast.

Great hostel, amazing staff. They gave us the best tips on where to visit and how to get there. The room was good, with air conditioning, nice bathroom, very clean, good breakfast, cool common room. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the place. Close to the train station and also some great places to visit and eat. Will definitely recommend it to my friends and everyone. Our experience in hostel mancini was great, we even stayed longer than expected. The included breakfast was really nice and the location of the hostel was perfect. We made some friends and the owners are really nice and welcoming.

From the hospitality to the location everything was great. Alfredo was very lovely and super useful in giving us ideas of what to do and where to go. The room and toilets were also really clean

Excellent experience, I stayed at Hostel Mancini for 3 weeks and had and had a very positive time. The staff are super friendly if you have any problems, the atmosphere always gives off a nice vibe and the location is very convenient. If you find yourself passing through the Naples area I would definitely recommend this place.

This hostel is clean, comfortable, and the addition of an (actually very spacious and pleasant) en suite for my four bed dorm was hugely appreciated. The staff are excellent, and the best thing about staying here. They make an effort to remember each of the guests names, give them solid recommendations for activities and food, and make sure they feel comfortable. The free snacks and sangria on my second night there was a lovely bonus, and nice way to meet people. On the location- I was warned (as I imagine some of you have been) not to book somewhere near the station. There is some truth to this, and the neighborhood is slightly sketchy. If the hostel had been even 500 metres in the other direction I don’t think I would have felt safe. But as it stands, it’s right on the edge of the bad neighborhood, closer to the historic city centre. Walk for less than five minutes and you’re somewhere safe, walk for 10 minutes and you’re in the centre of Naples with all the bars, restaurants and culture. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would strongly recommend (unless you’re someone who likes to sleep in, they have a slightly odd rule that you need to vacate your room by 10.30 every day which I’ve never experienced in any other hostel- but does incentivize you to ignore the niggling hangover from the night before, grab a coffee and go exploring!)
