If I could rate this higher I would! The food, atmosphere and everything in between made for a perfect dinner choice during our visit to Naples. The prices of the food were such good value with the quality and flavours being impeccable! The service we received was also notable, with the wait staff making us feel welcomed and taken care of. The decorations and set out of the restaurant makes it that much more special! Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed ❤️

We had a truly lovely dinner here. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We got a table without reservation while the place was quite busy. The food was very well prepared and fast arriving. We had three courses with wine and desert. Everything was to our liking and we had a great time here and for sure will come back.

My boyfriend and I ate here last night and had a great experience. The service is friendly and attentive and all the dishes we had were delicious! You can feel that all the staff are passionate about the food and care about guests having a good experience. Very reasonable prices for the quality and size of dishes. <3

Amazing! The staff from the San Gaudioso catacombs recommended it and it was great! The pasta Nerano (with zucchini) was so creamy and nice as well as the bruschettas with pomodoro tomatoes and all the other plates we tasted. Definitely a perfect restaurant choice. The waiters were also very friendly.

Amazing traditional food! You feel like you are in a tavern, there is ancient art on the wall. Food is crazy good, we dried up the dishes! Mariano is helpful and full of good energy :D Good beer too!!

Wonderful wonderful wonderful!!! We went straight to La Locanda del Monacone after a day at Pompeii. We were very hungry and decided to try this restaurant at the recommendation of our bed and breakfast host. The food is incredible. We had the eggplant Parmesan (recommended by our server), an assortment of fried appetizers, ravioli and linguine with mozzarella and pecorino. Easily the best food we’ve had in Naples! The food is excellent and the service was beyond attentive- thank you Mariano and Giuseppe. All of the waitstaff was kind and really and really fun. Make a reservation or get there when they open. A fabulous memory from Napoli!

Amazing food; place was full of locals. Get the ziti genovese - that was the best pasta we had. Staff were so kind and welcoming and attentive. Oh. And their babamisu was AMAZING. I would eat that for days. Their dessert menu changes daily but that one should be a mainstay.

Really sorry... All I have is this photo of our empty plate. Our catacomb guide Antonio recommended this place after showing him our original choice, a pizza restaurant (how original) his response was "if you want actual food, go to La Locanda Del Manacone". The food was fantastic as was the service. The menu is small, but very focused on typical Neopolitan food. We had a couple of pastas: the cherry tomatoes with artichokes, crispy bacon and parmesan flakes, ziti alla genovese, plus also Parmigiana di melanzane and agnello al forno. I would also recommend the zeppolini, a dish I got to try as a waiting passing by entertained my curiosity by "accidentally" pushing a few onto our plate. All were full of flavour and felt like a well presented home cooked meal including the desert, a moist and mouth watering Pastera cake. This may be one of the only places in Italy I'll be happy to come back to again and again.
