Of all the restaurants we’ve tried in Rome, Pizza Florida’s pizza is still the best compared to any to any of them/food we’ve had (including the fresh truffle pasta!!). The carbonara pizza is to amazing! We also tried the spicy tomato, potato and burrata pizza. They were all delicious but the carbonara was the best and bursting with flavor! Also, the owner is super friend and everything here is priced reasonably. Great stop for a quick lunch or snack!

On our way back to the hotel from Trastevere we had to stop at another Italian takeaway pizza shop. For mid-day this place was absolutely packed with people. As we worked our way up to the front, we realize there’s no “guided line”. You just try to grab an employee’s attention and ask for your pizza flavors. The Pizza flavors we went with were Margherita & Quattro Formaggi These were good slices that definitely fit the bill. Not bad crust, and the toppings were decent. We tried the margarita, a meat one and the carbonara pizza (it was surprisingly the most delicious slice!). These slices averaged out to about €2.5 a slice, the only more expensive one is the Nutella pizza slice which was €4.40, but we did get a big slice in fairness. We visited today after googling to find good takeaway pizza spots and im glad we did, the food is 10/10 very simple but very nice and the bloke who i assume is the owner was the friendliest person we have met in italy since we have been here. We loved coming here, the food was within our budget (much cheaper and worth the money compared to other pizza places). The staff were friendly and there were plenty of vegetarian options for us to choose from. We went there 3 days in a row, it was yummyy!
