Highly recommended..!! This scenic homestay is nestled in the lap of nature, and requires a small and steep uphill walk of about 300-meters and then around 60+ stairs to reach the homestay. The host arranges you a porter to get the luggage up from the point where the uphill walk starts to home stay, and they charge ₹70+ for the same. It has a cozy family feel to it, that makes you feel at home. Once you reach the homestay the 360 degree view of the Nainital including the amazing Naini lake. It is best for spending time with family, kids, trekking and relaxing in the hills and amidst nature. Well maintained lawn, swing and a small bench just outside the lawn makes you and kid can just relax and gaze at the lake. And at night, the city lights looks awesome. We stayed here for a couple of days and apart from the place and view of the lake the best part of the stay were the hosts. It was truly a pleasure to get to know Prashanth, and his mother, we will continue to remain friends, thanks to facebook and Insta until we go back and visit again. They truly embrace the tradition of “guest is god,” because at Prashanth’s home stay, guest is family. Feedback from Sejal : As she was traveling to peak places for the first time, she wanted her homely food and on our request Prashanth and Aunty prepared Ragi malt for her, which actually helped her to be active throughout the day and enjoy the trip..:) Thank you Prashanth and aunty for making our stay memorable during the stay..!!

Prashant is a very welcoming and caring host. The place is beautiful and the most lovely part was meeting his mother. His mother is super cool and also very friendly. Just loved my stay with them ,and next time definitely a longer stay at this beautiful place.

The Orchard is a large British style room inviting guests to be a part of home stay. It is part of a old British building with wooden interios. It has four beds with a small walk-in room for luggage and seating and has a spacious bathroom. The door opens in a lively porch with gardens around. It is ideal for small families, couples, solo male/female travellers, and a group of two to three friends. There is a small uphill walk involved to reach the homestay. It is away from the town' noise but is centrally located as well. A full view of the lake is available and organic food is served in the house. Is best for spending time with family, meditation, writing, reading, trekking and relaxing in the hills and amidst nature. P.S - only for peaceful and homely people

I really enjoyed staying at this homestay property which has a great scenic views of entire Naini lake from their beautiful green garden. Property is a little uphill but once you have reached the homestay, you will never regret it. Place is good for people who love quiet, serene and peaceful environment and good for workation as they have high speed wifi internet and proper seating arrangement. Prashant is a great host, a very helpful in nature who helped me a lot to know all local things, sightseeings and other important stuffs that is an additional perk to stay at this place:) His parents are very kind hearted person. Homemade food is a must try that's so delicious. Room and washroom is clean and well taken care. The place is nicely located, walkable distance to mall road and you can go 10 mins hike uphill for awesome sunrise view point and 30 mins to snow view point. For sunset, you can just sit comfortably on a swing in a garden and enjoy the nature at it's best. One can also rent 2 wheeler by Prashant itself. Definitely recommended for those who wants to avoid hustle bustle of mall road and loves nature. Would love to stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay. The scenic views are phenomenal and the rooms feel so cozy and are quite spacious as well, with the ones we had just overlooking the park in their premises, and the main gate overlooking the hills next to Naini Lake, and what's even great is that the host is so welcoming and accommodating. He guided us through everything, from directions to places to destinations we can visit. Overall, if you want to have a great time in Nainital, this should be your go to place. The place requires a bit hike, but it is definitely worth it. You will find it out once you reach there. Will definitely book again whenever I visit Nainital. Just beautiful!!

We had a 2 day stay at Prashant's property. The homestay has a quiet and peaceful aura one would want for a vacation, situated at hilltop, offers a panoramic view from the garden area. The location requires fair bit of hike, but local bikes are available to help you climb till the stairs which covers 70% of the hike There are multiple rooms at the stay. We had booked Orchard room having most space and vintage in architecture One can get homemade meals within the stay with exta cost and prior intimation Dont miss the morning tea with exquisite valley view Prashant proved out to be an excellent host, coordinated throughout our stay, always available to suggest and help you explore around Highly recommend this place if one wants to escape the hustle bustle of city

We had a wonderful time since the property is nestled in such a peaceful and beautiful setting. Prashant, the host, was extremely warm and welcoming, and he recommended several amazing places to visit. Prashant's mother's cooking was mouthwatering. We had a great stay and would recommend it to everyone! <3

I stayed at Prashant’s place for two days in July 2022 and had a wonderful experience. The house is located closer to the bustling mall road and is yet quieter. The room was clean and is ideal for solo travelers. As a bonus, you get a beautiful view of the Nainital lake from the balcony. I only had a rough idea about the places to visit and it was Prashant who doubled up as my guide and suggested places to visit, including the beautiful Sattal and Garud taal lakes. The hospitality was great and he was always available for call and I had some lively conversations with him. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The only thing to note is, and which Prashant himself has mentioned, is the flight of stairs as it’s on a slope. People like me from the plains may find the ascent a little difficult and you may find older locals zooming past you 😅. Just stop at regular intervals for the climb is worth it!

Prashant's homestay is the best place to live in Nainital. The view after reaching the homestay mesmerised our eyes. The host is very cordial and warm. He gives very good information about the entire city and places to visit. I would highly recommend the travelers to go for this homestay blindly.

It was a great experience staying at prashant's place and no doubt Prashant was an amazing host. He took care of our needs and replied promptly whenever we needed help. The food too was amazing and had a homely touch to it which made it more tasty. The nainital lake view from the top is just amazing. Prashant's homestay is a comfy space amidst nature. We enjoyed the home-cooked food and the breathtaking view of the mountains and Naini Lake. We spend some good quality time there and wish to visit again whenever we go to Nainital. We would like to extend our gratitude towards Prashant and his mom for making us feel at home.

I stayed there for 5 days. I ended up booking the place by fate with no prior bookings and called up Prashant for offline accommodation. I specifically want to mention that he is an amazing and very humble host and his parents were very sweet too. Aunty made us home cooked food when we got sick. She was really helpful and nice. It is a perfect place for someone who is looking for homely feels in mountains. Most suited for people who like to hike or walk uphill as property is situated at heights. If not, they have a porter who can help you carry your luggage till the property and bike riders who help you cover most of the distance till the property. Totally worth the experience! It’s reasonable than hotel rooms and very well placed fom where you could see entire lake. Also, soak the sun for hours. To stay away from hustle bustle of the city and get some peace, it is the best pick

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful homestay. The place has complete homely vibes with an amazing view of the hills along with Naini lake and a quiet atmosphere. Reaching the place itself is a short trek which gives you the feeling of staying at a hilly place but the view from the garden justifies the short trek. Rooms are cozy and beautifully decorated. Owner (Prashant) was very helpful and guided us very well for our short stay of 3 days wherein we were able to cover max places around Nainital. Overall a great experience for our 1st ever stay in a homestay.

We had a great room for 3 days. We struggled a bit to find a decent place in Nainital, but we're glad we found this place. Communication was very good/fast and we got to know more about the history of nainital and recommendations to have food. a bit away from the main road, so the sound of horns gets reduced a lot. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to nainital.

Simple and cosy room. Prashant pretty much ensured everything was comfortable and gave good advice. I liked the thrilling bike ride to reach to his place. By foot it will really test your strength

If you book this place, it's the best decision you gonna take in Nainital. The place, the view, the rooms all on point and the host is a cherry on the cake at this paradise. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Gonna be frequently visiting the place ♥️🤌🏻✨

This place is very much at the hill top with amazing views of the lake and the mountain. Prashant ji is ver helpful and guided us in all ways. He has a wonderful garden and the place is constructed during British times. It is very cozy , comfortable and spacious. The place was worth the climb of a steep and stairs. Would surely visit next time.

The path to this homestay is sure a long and winding one, but it's akin to taking a fulfilling trek to reach a beautiful view. You won't need to go for any other adventure sports in nainital while you're living here 😆 Jokes apart, We absolutely loved our stay here. Prashant gave us a warm welcome and helped us with everything under the sun. Did I mention already that the view is breathtaking? The room we stayed in called 'Haven' is so aesthetically decorated and the balcony, oh my! Waking up to that view and sipping tea in the balcony/ garden is just a cherry on the cake. 5 stars all the way!!

Experience was absolutely terrific. The staff was polite and the owner too, was cooperative with the check-in time. There is a car for the guests just to ferry them from the mall road to the hotel. The view of the entire lake from the room is the cherry on top. Highly recommended!

We had the most delightful stay at Prashant's Homestay in Nainital. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and their hospitality truly made our stay special. The homestay itself exudes charm and comfort, providing a serene retreat in the heart of Nainital. Prashant's graciousness and the cozy ambiance of the place created an unforgettable experience. I look forward to returning and recommending our friends to experience more of Nainital's beauty. Thank you again for the wonderful stay and the lovely memories. To more smiles and travels ahead! Cheers 😄🌟🏞️

Prashant’s place is perfect homestay with all basic amenities. He is very responsible and responsive host. We enjoyed our peaceful stay here and the view from his place is something to look for. But as they say to get a beautiful view in mountains we have to do some hiking, same is the case for this place as well. It will test your fitness :) Conclusively it was a good stay!

Amazing ppl, location, stay & food. Absolutely worth it. Prashant helps with solving the missing gaps in your itinerary by sharing contacts of cabs, rentals, etc. Alaways prompt to respond & clear. Food prepared is just delicious. And location is really beautiful. Cabs can not go to last 300mts stretch that prashant communicates at the get go. Bike taxis are available if you dont feel like walking that stretch. Absolutely recommend this place for good views, food & hospitality.

I want to rate this hotel 5 star but I am rating 3 star because for only one reason and that is poor staff management and behaviour. Rest everything is good about this hotel including location, car parking and the view. Ample of car parking space available at the hotel and this hotel has one of the best views in Nainital. Food was also good. Overall we had a very enjoyable and a pleasant stay. PS: I really do not want to review bad about this hotel just because I had poor experience with the hotel staff. That could be a possibility because I went in peak season so they were really occupied but at least they should know how to treat and respect their customers.

You did not pick up my 20 calls yesterday 16.6.23. Maybe you have given my reserved room to someone else at a higher tariff. Very un professional. Will never recommend your homestay to anyone.
