Lotus Abode is a very pretty and well maintained home stay located in a fine neighbourhood in Salem. The owners have done a great job in retaining the charm of the old building.

I chose to stay at this place randomly with my family and pet dog. But ended up with a great bond with the owner which still continues till date. Home is divine and spacious very much to the liking of my old parents. They got immediately connected with the place and still talk about it everytime we think about going to Salem. It's well maintained and owner keeps checking on your comfortability. Its surely a must visit if you have big family and searching for a homestay in Salem.

We went to Salem with family and stayed. It's a very good serviced apartment and safe to stay when you are new to the place. Well managed with the needs. The kindness, care and the hospitality of the owner was so great. The location and the ambience of the apartment feels so homely. It made a unforgettable experience. Sure anyone experience will feel the same.

Pleasant Home like stay with in city. Don't book from Ibibo or MMT, make a direct booking becoz the bookings are being doubled, same room is booked for multiple users. Host had tough time to manage it.

It is nice to stay with a home atmosphere.unwanted things should be removed from the room means better to stay

It is a home away from home. Mr. Sankar is very soft spoken and caring. We stayed there for 9 days. It was a comfortable stay. I will surely recommend it for people who are looking for a comfortable home stay in salem.

I like old traditional home, and I found this place online, this is a good place to stay if you like old houses. The room is very spacious and also the place is very safe to stay… as I am currently on six months South India big tour, I wanted to find home stay to have homely feeling and also to avoid paying more at hotel stay, and luckily Lotus Abode fulfilled my requirements. We were saved by the host… Thanks for letting us stay. We actually reached Salem at late midnight and couldn’t find any place. But luckily we bumped into lotus abode and our trip was grt. He also assisted us to go to Yercaud and let us keep our luggage in the room. He even helped us go to pondi. Tru gentleman n get hospitality. Pls keep up the good nature sir. Amazing place for the price

Very worst place. This is not a hotel but room service being run in a house which is completely illegal. The fan and AC do not work. The AC will make so much noise that you won't be able to sleep. The owner shuts off fan, light and AC after 30 minutes. I left the place within an hour. The owner is very aggressive person. He will only talk sweet with you till you book the place.

This is very old property , not much maintenance. Giving 1500/- to these property is not worth. Room next to the steps is not at all worth to stay. Fans were making noises and many of them were not working like switch. My friends scolded me why you booked this old house to stay. Even I don’t think family also would like to stay. If somebody says nice then I don’t think they say it from bottom of their heart. I did not felt like home stay I did not felt comfort in staying here. I don’t know about others for me the experience is very bad. I wasted rupees 3000/- for two rooms. Sorry to give such rating

Lotus Abode is a transit stay for my travel from Sivakasi to Bengaluru. I have stayed here with my dog for many times. The host family is so friendly both to me and my dog. They have taken outmost care about my comfortable stay. The house is a gem of a place, an old traditional one. The facilities are perfect for any traveler.They even arrange a delicious home cooked food at a very less price. I wait for the mealtime eagerly.The house features a tall cocunut tree, fragrance full of lemon tree and Pavala malli ( a jasmine) tree which a sight to eyes. Any day i would love to go there n stay. Its perfect for single, family and a big group of people also. There's plenty of rooms available and a massive living room with big Oonjal(Strings). There's a divine meditation hall is also there with many spiritual books. The area is also in a very decent locality with plenty of shops and ATMs around. You can go for a nice walk by yourself or take your pet. Overall I am so glad to find this place in Salem! Thanks to the host family!

It is a beautiful home stay where we can stay in a old beautiful traditional house. This house belongs to old land lords who built 2 storied building at that time where the concept of multi stories building was very few. The rooms have AC and water heater available in wash rooms. If u check the area of the room, I think in this much area, ordinary hotels owner ll build 2-3 rooms. Can say that we can play foot ball in this room! Most important thing is abt house owner. A downto Earth Gentleman who is always ready to help. He is very polite and make sure house keeping is done properly always. Cost of room is very less compared to the quality of service they r providing.
