Very rude owner. I stayed here while my friend stayed at the Narita Center hotel down the street. Before arriving here, I went to my friends hotel so he could check in. I took a shower there in his room before arriving at Azure. When I checked in my friend stayed in the waiting room. It was obvious that we arrived together. While I went to my room to drop off my luggage, the owner approached my friend and asked what he was doing there. He said that he was waiting for me to check in. Well that wasn't acceptable to the owner....he directed my friend to leave and wait outside. I was angry and embarrassed by the way he treated my friend. I have never experienced anything like this before. Definitely won't be coming back and can't recommend Azure.

I can't even begin to explain how rude the owner was. He wakes people up during an extended stay in order to kick them out of the hostel and locks the door. I guess he forgot about me and locked me in...twice! Completely misled by the photos on the website. The owner also disconnected the wifi for a prolonged period of time as a punishment towards one guest! This may be the most affordable hostel but definitely nowhere near livable! Also, it is advertised that there are discounts given for staying 3+ nights...that is a lie! The owner walks around giving demands to people..."stay in your room after 12." "Get out at 11." the most unorthodox and unkempt place I've ever stayed!

I have literally never made a review of anything in my entire life. This place is straight garbage. We got here early, and he made us wait hours before checking in even though nobody else was here. He told us that we had to wait until people checked out but we were waiting in the stairwell the whole time and not a single person came in our out. You have to walk on eggshells in the common area. Im honestly done with this review just don't stay here unless you absolutely must. There's literally a note that says never lay down on blanket. Lol what? This place is real depressing on top of all of that. Just to show that im not all negative i will say that the rooms are average. Also the wifi barely works.

Bring your own towels! Rental towels cost ¥200. Remember the soap, too, because there is no shampoo or body wash here. The front desk guy is a bit awkward and likes to stand in the hall and laugh at the TV loudly. The facilities are very new, and seemingly clean. It's just unfortunate that I missed my flight after being woken up every hour by the front desk man, who turns the lights up all the way every time he admits someone to the room. Would not stay here again.

Nice, quiet and clean hostel. Rooms and common area were kept warm. Free tea and coffee available for guests. Hostel staff was polite and friendly. A bit of a hilly walk from the train station, but a great place to stay either at the beginning or end of your journey via Narita.

A éviter. D'autres logements sont disponibles à Narita. Response to the host, Mister, If you don't want bad notes and comments, be a good host and be on time. I showed up, you were not here, I had to change my plan and find another hostel with my lugages the same day. However, you didn't forget to take my money. You have to accept critics if you want to be better, I am not the only one who are disappointed by your services by the way. A disappointed customer,

The owner speaks excellent English and has a friendly eccentric personality. Rooms are basic but clean and cheap. Very close to a Lawson and various other shops and restaurants and only 5 minutes walk from Keisei-Narita train station (which has a direct link to Narita airport terminals or a train right to the centre of Tokyo).

The man was actually very nice. I stayed for just one night before flying home. Yes there were a lot of rules, but it's to make sure you are considerate to others. Took me in last minute during the typhoon Faxai aftermath so I am very thankful. Good price for a bed, air conditioning and shower.

Don't believe the negative reviews. This place is very relaxing and affordable. Clean linens and bathroom. The owner is a friendly man, easy to talk to and plenty helpful. I would stay here again.

I have read alot of things on here about the owner being rude or mean. He was very wonderful to me and even gave me a small gift after I left. He told me how to get to all the cultural things in the area (old villages, art museums, gardens, parks, etc.). I witness an exchange with the owner and a guy who did not have a reservation, trying to pull a fast one on him and he stood his ground. I work retail and have for many years(a bakery currently) so I told him I have to deal with this 24/7. He says this happens often, people do not bother reading the rules then get mad when they are told "you cannot do that." Perhaps this is hy he comes off as rude to some of the people who did bot bother reading the rules prior to checking in. The man cameback twice but the owner stood his ground. Even offered to let him stay if he paid but the man swore "his wife booked it! it was already paid for" whilst have 0 confirmation email. And even worse not even bothering to contact his wife after the owner suggested it. The place is very clean, and quiet. Also I have been reading things such as the owner is "racist." I am an African American woman. From my experience I was treated very well and never discriminated against.

😐 フロントの老夫婦が感じいい。 タバコ吸えるのがよい。 部屋は小汚いくらいが気を遣わずちょうどよい。(掃除はきちんとしております)
