Utterly
disgusted
by
the
conduct
of
the
staff
on
the
rescue
vehicle
-
rude,
arrogant,
irresponsible
and
not
punctual
even
in
cases
of
serious
emergencies,
at
all.
Such
a
shame
that
even
a
reputable
NGO
like
TOLFA
India
hires
workers
which
do
not
care
about
the
animals
they
are
meant
to
rescue.
Such
was
my
encounter,
when
I
along
with
members
of
my
family
had
to
wait
in
rain,
keeping
an
old
aged
ill
dog
under
watch
as
she
was
hesitant
to
move
anywhere
else
but
to
lie
down
in
sheer
pain,
suffering
from
high
grade
fever.
These
people
did
not
respond
to
any
calls
for
emergency
rescue
and
instead
kept
the
complain
on
hold
-
delaying
it
further
even
when
they
were
asked
to
do
so
a
day
prior
to
the
event
night.
In
place
of
driving
the
van
steadily,
they
bashed
into
the
location
with
a
speedy
vehicle,
thus,
alerting
the
dogs
of
the
area
and
scaring
the
ill-dog.
The
driver
did
not
even
bother
to
lend
a
hand
but
to
watch
the
dog
run
away
while
the
other
two,
busy
in
themselves,
could
not
put
together
the
sack
to
capture
and
hence,
rescue
the
dog
and
take
it
for
treatment.
Infuriated
by
the
happenings
-
the
dog
running
away
and
all
of
us
draped
in
waters
from
the
rain
-
engaged
with
the
reluctant
staff
-
Nonetheless,
the
dog
was
not
found
and
the
our
waiting
in
the
rain
was
all
gone
to
waste.
Irony
is
that
even
after
the
failed
attempts,
the
staff
started
giggling
in
the
van
-
not
even
bothered
to
search
for
the
dog
but
then
too
argued
as
if
it
was
not
their
fault.
Things
escalated
to
when
they
even
told
us
that
they’re
not
responsible
for
anything
and
since
we
are
not
their
employers,
they
won’t
heed
to
our
complaints,
never
again.
Shame!
Tagging
those
were
on
the
van
here
-
Suresh
(Driver),
Aman
and
Deepak.
