A very good sunset point and a must to visit place if you are in Saputara. However, a word of caution for first time drivers / less experienced drivers. It’s quite steep and road condition is bad plus there will be huge traffic / rush especially in the evening around 5.30 pm onwards. Therefore would suggest you visit this place (if you are self driving) little early. Once you are on the top, you can see almost entire Saputara and it’s quite spectacular. You can also try Ropeway and enjoy with family.

Very good view for sunset. You can opt for ropeway or you have to climb from parking.I personally recommend that if you are young and capable climb the way as there are very good view in the way too. Also the inclination of road is more so it will be fun and challenging. I went in November so as per time I started from 5pm and was the best time, you can advise your time according to season

There is a roadway to the point however no vehicles are allowed. There are some private bike riders who take you to the top for 50/100 Rs. ( Bargaining helps ) Best spot in Saputara to witness Sunset :)

Cannot drive a car at the point. Two wheelers can go easily. We have to do the car parking at the ropeway point of table top point and then go to the sunset point using the ropeway. Alternatively we can view the sunset from table top point also.

The best view comes after the hardest climb.” “Stop staring at mountains. Climb them instead, yes, it's a harder process but it will lead you to a better view.”really it is very calm place that you can come for meditation

As the name suggests, it is point to witness the beautiful moment of sun setting down. The shades of different colours appearing on the sky is mesmerizing. Also the aerial view of lake and the town visible from this point is awesome. There are two ways to reach the sunset point, one is through ropeway (which starts from Table point) and other one is by climbing up on the hill. It is almost close to 1 km strenuous climb, the vehicles are not allowed except for the bikes which are provided by the locals on chargeable basis (they charge Rs 100 one way). There are few stalls where water and food are available. For children, there are few recreational stuff such as RC cars, horse rides, etc. There is no entry charge if one decides to climb up while travel through ropeway is chargeable. It is located on height and we can only go by a walk by hiking on the hill. It will take some time. The view is amazing from there.

A best place to chill and enjoy with friends best favourable time to visit would be rainy season but still if you visit in winter it gives a proper vibe of hill station there are many 3 ⭐ and also 5 star hotels to stay overall a very happening place to visit with friends there are options of tracking the hill to watch sun set which is the best idea if you are with friends

If you reach there, it is amazing but first you have to reach there. There is a inclined climbing of atleast a km before you reach the top. BTW if you want to go to trolley, this is the same way. Cars are stopped below and then a inclined walk of almost a km to reach the top. You can take a small self driven scooter for 100/- to reach the top and Rs.50/- if you want to come down on it. It is a good point and worth to go. Be fit and save money.

Sunset Point also known as governor hill, is the highest point in Saputara. It comes under Dang Forest in the Aravallis. Basically a table top area at the top, offer a spectacular view. You will find a lots of fun activity like beautiful flower double seat bicycle, bike riding, horse riding, camel ride etc. Also available Ropeway Facility. The paragliding facility here and experience offers a scenic view of the landscapes around and is a perfect adventure activity for adrenaline-junkies. Enthusiasts are provided with a proper briefing session preparing them with the required skills and confidence for this amazing adventure! Beautiful valley and sky filled with colorful hue in the evening. It was awesome place to hangout with family and friends. Sufficient car parking is available.

It's a quite natural place located way high from the ground. You have to climb by walking. The view at the sunset point is fabulous and worth the hike. It's important that you come down before it gets dark.

Best point to see the sunset at Saputara, road is nice but the construction is going on and there is no.proper place to sit and enjoy sunset. Also one need to walk for 1km around or hire a local bike as cars are not allowed from certain point.

The Sunset Point is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Saputara, offering a breathtaking view of the sun setting behind the lush green hills. The point is located at an altitude of approximately 1220 meters above sea level and offers a panoramic view of the Dang forest and the winding roads that lead to the hill station. The best time to visit Sunset Point is during the late afternoon when the sun is about to set. The view of the orange sun setting behind the hills is truly spectacular and is sure to leave you mesmerized. The serene atmosphere and cool breeze make it a perfect place to unwind and relax after a long day of sightseeing. There are a few small shops and vendors selling snacks and beverages near the Sunset Point, so you can enjoy some refreshments while taking in the view. Additionally, there are a few benches and seating areas where you can sit and enjoy the view at your leisure. Overall, the Sunset Point in Saputara is a must-visit attraction for anyone traveling to this beautiful hill station. The stunning view of the sunset and the tranquil surroundings make it a perfect place to unwind and relax in the midst of nature.

One of the good places for Saputara visit. SUNSET point is good but the way to there is a bit rough, your vehicles doesn't go to the top. You have to walk for a Kilometre but you can get 2 wheeler moped on rent.

Could reach there only after the sunset. Even at that time, the view was really good. You have to cover around 1 km by foot to reach the top. There is provision for bike rental which costs around 150 to and fro. Construction work was going on when I went.

Sunset 🌇 is no doubt one of the most beautiful times of the day, and watching the gorgeous 😍 sunset colours on the sky is one of my all-time favourite activities, and not just when I'm on the road! Sunsets always leave me speechless, whether I'm watching them from a white run in kucch, Beach ⛱️ of Mandavi , or from dam of my village. Sunset of this place also make place in this list. I have beautiful memories 📝 with This beautiful place ❤️ .

Best place for sunset. You can see the same view from table point as well. I had planned on weekend and it was crowded. People were searching for a place to capture a nice, lovely & beautiful scene. While going to table point, it should be ensured that the vehicle does not stop on the slope. Nothing special happens at sunset, only the evening is crowded.

  • 4/5 rohit v. 2 years ago on Google
It's best sunset point, usually very busy on weekends so try to avoid. Here there is table top where u can have lots of activities like horse riding, cycle, bike ride, etc etc beyond this point u can also do trekking.

Saputara is nice hill station in Gujarat. For staying many Hotels available. Lake is nice for boating, quiet and calm. Sunrise point and Sunset points are worth to visit. Good attraction is Rope way - But avoid going after 6 pm. Nageshwar mahadev and Nawagam Ganesh temple is also good. Wonderful experience for 2-3 days outing.

Rope way ride is must but they have specific time in morning and afternoon only till 5 pm. Apart from sunset, the view of Saputara Lake from the top is just awesome.

We came here through a ropeway as it was to n fro journey from the same point. We couldn't catch the sunset as it was around 6.45 as searched on Google and we were there around 5. There were bicycle ride, motorcycle ride for kids as well as adults. We had lemon juice there.(Picture attached) to relieve from the sun's heat. There were also some play rides for the kids backed by sunflower plants and others. I rode a double hand bicycle there along with my brother. The charges per rode were just Rs. 50/- which I feel are nominal.
