Great museum to visit in nashik. Obviously well maintained place as usual because it comes under indian army. I felt proud to visit here. You need to entry and exit in register and provide one identity card there. Rs. 50 for entry to see museum for adult. Entry For indian forces (army/navy/ air force) personnel and their family members are free.

It's a wonderful experience visiting this museum. Lot to see and learn about Indian army and it's valour. Felt patriotic. Entry to this place may be restricted and is solely for people having reference with any army personnel.

Artillery Museum - one amongst the grandest and most underrated places in India. The lawn itself has a grand display of tanks, rockets and surveillance systems. Tickets are INR 50/person. The building has 3 floors of various types of transport systems (mules included), weapons, transport systems, shells and rockets, miniature models of various battles and rescue operations, hall of honor(martyr names and pictures) and the list goes on. There is a light show in the evening explaining the place and exhibits. Ample parking space, clean washrooms and drinking water facility. Cafeteria is closed temporarily. The place is well maintained. Great learning and Overall experience. Good for teenagers and above.

2 stars because this is currently under renovation. So you can visit and view only the machines that have been kept in the garden area. You will have to submit your Id proof at the gate and can take it back when you leave. I would love to visit it once all the renovation is done, probably next year. Fees: Rs.100 for the movie and all which we never saw. The artifacts in the garden area are free to view, but deserve a little more care.

A very clean picturesque place . You require at least 3 hours for visiting inside articles of the museum . The entire area outside the museum is also well maintained and beautiful if you love photography then and one more hour of photography and one more for visiting outer display. So in all total if you want to justify your visit spare 5 to 6 hours for the artillery museum. Please remember to use Kargil or Vadner gate for entering the artillery centre if you are a civilian. The charges are bare minimum 50rs per head . The do have a amphitheatre where a light show is organit.

Wonderful place to visit. Has outdoor display of static military vehicles, artillery and an indoor museum. It takes approx 60-90mins. Check the timings before visiting. One need to submit id proof at main gate and collect after museum visit

This is one of its kind Museum containing real time war artillery artifacts . This contains so much history which is truly amazing. One must take note that the entry to this place is from the Kargil gate which the gps sometimes fails to locate properly. Some of the interesting pieces of artillery include the famous tanks and aircrafts from the movie BORDER ....

Artillery Centre Museum Nashik Located in Gandhi Nagar Airport Area, the Artillery Centre Museum features an array of weapons and aircraft that gives the visitors a vision of the proud past. AOP aircraft and MIG-23UM are the famous displays in the museum. This museum is most of the time restricted to the civilians as it remains under the military supervision. Make a point to check with the local whether the museum is open for public or not. Nashik's Artillery Centre is the biggest in Asia, and here Indian Army Officers and Soldiers are trained. It's mainly a training center for Indian Army soldiers.

Very good collection and well maintained by the army. There are many tanks, howitzers, anti-aircraft missiles which were used in World Wars I & II. Informations about various battles which were successfully won by the Indian army are also very enriching. Good place to take kids. A bit far from the centre of Nasik city but is accessible by auto

An amazing place to visit for all age groups. Try and visit on weekends and especially in the evening as there is light and sound show also at those timings. The Museum is inside the Defence Colony, so the drive itself to reach the museum is a great one. Along with artillery kept in the garden of the museum, the museum also houses sections depicting evolution of artillery and weapons, details of battles fought by the regiment and mid-60s ammunitions. The timing for entry are strictly to be followed.

We visited this museum in July 2019 and it was worth a visit. I am being from an Army background, anything related to military thrills me a lot. You have to deposit your ID proof at the entrance and the entry is free. The place is quiet and you can see tanks, missiles, planes etc., in the museum complex.

Wonderful museum reflect the military artillery gallery for the people. The photographs of gallantry awards given to deserving officers and men for their courageous acts during war and peace time are displayed beautifully. The area where the sound and light show is projected has been laid out well. Real guns are highlighted during the show!! It is one of the places worth visiting... Very well maintained...salute guys for our indian army..

Amazing place to visit while you are at devlali, am revising history and to those heroes who sacrificed their life for us. The best time is around the evening because of the light and sound show but it depends on the number of visitors Open display of tanks and other artillery used in wars and other missions. This place is mainly a tribute to the artillery regiment. Don't miss the show where they show the history of artillery.

First it is for those people who love artillery and or army equipment. Second it is inside the army cantonment. So be ready for some initial checking. A light and sound show is good if you like history or artillery guns. But if you have no idea about guns, their makes or uses, it will be boring for you. The voice of the movie is not great and can be improved. Second story of artillery gun is really not engaging if you make it just about names and division which most people do not understand. Lastly the museum needs improvement in terms of toilet service, canteen as well as exhibition. One really good thing they show is pre cursor to mlrs by Tipu sultan. Also they have tank from longewala battle (border movie) which is really cool.

One of the most exhilarating experience of my life where I saw artillery used by Indian soldiers across multiple wars for the past 100+ years. Needless to say the patriotic feeling you are beamed up with during and at the end of the visit. If you're in Nashik, then it's a must visit place. PS: Do not miss the AV show
