A very peaceful and serene location and a good place for photography in nashik. The sunset and the sunrise is especially lovely here, so make sure to get your camera along. You can also visit at night/ evening (if they allow) to photograph a beautiful full moon and its reflection on the waters. Depending on the season, you will also find lots bird here for photography. I also suggest this spot for people wanting to have lunch (or any meal for that matter) outside for a change. What could be better than a scrumptious meal beside calm waters?

A beautiful place to escape the the city chaos. The view is exceptional with rare combination of clean water, mountains and clear blue sky. Its a regular weekend spot for Nashik and nearby city people. But for outsiders its should be in must visit list. The place is managed by Maharashtra government. It has entry ticket of β‚Ή100 on weekends and β‚Ή70 on weekdays. There are various relaxing as well as adventurous water rides you can enjoy which includes boat rides, cruising, kayaking, speed boat ride, motor boat rides, banana boat; all at reasonable price. No need to pre- book. The place also has a big and open sitting area with a cafeteria offering simple refreshments on reasonable rates.

Murrum digging going on rapidly, habitat is getting destroyed. Very few bird species are seen nowadays. Plastic and beverage bottles thrown by visitors are mixed with drinking water.

It was a nice place to explore and visit. There are food vendors where you can enjoy the sunset with a variety of food and beverages. Boating and many water sports are also available. I visited the corona restrictions, so there were fewer people. Sunset is nice, but it's mostly crowded. If you visit early morning crowd will be less. The photography through DSLR and Mobile is allowed βœ…οΈ Paid parking is there.

The place offers a amazing escape in Nashik tourism circuit. The place is important for enjoy nature's beauty and an important source of water for Nashik city. The dam can be viewed from various points around the waterbody, but the dam itself belongs to government body so is not accessible. The area is now well developed with MTDC Boat club, Back water points, big resorts and lovely landscape.

Please don't go there. They charge Rs. 70 and Rs. 100 omjust for entry. It's not worth the entry fee. I don't think even Taj mahal or Qurub Minar has that much of an entry fee. Also there is nothing in there. Drive little bit ahead from its main gate and enjoy the view for free. Don't pay for nothing or these people will start charging for anything. The amenities are definitely not worth even 10 Rs. I highly dobt that its some corrupt politician charging exorbitant entry fee for nothing just to get rich. Don't fall for it. There are much better views for free of cost. Nature is not for sale. But if you give in to these greedy a*hope, I'm certain you will end up paying for the oxygen you breathe. So refrain from paying. Just drive and enjoy the view. Thus place isn't worth a single penny.

Nice place to visit if in Nashik. We visited this on the way back from Sula. During monsoon, water sports are not allowed. Otherwise very well maintained tourist place, also a cafeteria just next to the viewpoint is a plus point.
