A must visit place in Deolali Camp. Sunset and Sunrise points are attractions. Not so crowded. The temple is slightly at height, just need 15 min to reach. At the ground there is a garden with a lot of children playing area and a green gym. Also there is ample 4 wheeler parking.

Very nice Jay mhalar temple on top of small hill. This is also called as Temple Hill. Overall hill is developed very well. On slops we have Bandstand, various excersize equipment, open wrestling place. At base of hill small watika for children. Excellent developed place and equally maintained area. On hill we have ganesh temple, main Malhar temple, Saibaba temple. Infront of temple on. Other high portion holy stumbh. It's says that Lord Shiva stopped here for while after killing two Asura.

Temple Hill is the best place in Deolali I am very happy to come here very peaceful I spent 2.3 hours here very beautiful place I can't even tell you I am so impressed very clean here You must go

History of Shri Khandoba Maharaj Temple - Shri Khandoba Maharaj is an incarnation of Lord Shiva and this temple dedicated to him is reportedly over 500 years (Five hundred) old. As per mythology, the incarnation of Lord Shiva into Shri Khandoba is because two brothers amongst the demons Malla Daitya and Mani Daitya pleased Lord Shiva with their prayers and obtained his blessings that nobody on earth could kill them. Brothers after getting the boon from Lord Shiva however became power drunk and started harassing the common people, saints and sages. This could not be tolerated by Lord Shiva and he himself incarnated as Shri Khandoba and killed both the demons. After killing them, Lord Shiva relaxed on this hill and hence this temple is called 'Vishramgadh'. There is also an ancient legend centering this hill is that during "Shiv Kaal" 'Chhatrapati Shri Shivaji Maharaj' while traveling on his mission towards the north relaxed on this hill. The management of this temple is with the Amale family since its inception. This religious landmark of Devlali is also known as "Temple Hill". In addition to it there is this ‘Kiran Smruti’ where beautiful Sai Baba statue is placed.

Good place to visit and well maintained. 3 problems that I found with this place 1 - there is a very steep climb from the garden to hill top hence difficult for elderly people 2 - no signage to go towards sunset point (it is located at quite a distance from temple and route is from behind the temple) 3 - there aren't good/well maintained amenities to freshen up

Nice place for piece of silence. Holy place so, there is temple at hill top which is further extended to backside of temple till 400 metres more. From there view is better. Also there is small children park at bottom hill

One of the landmarks of Devlali Camp, the hill towers above the surrounding countryside and offers unrestricted views for miles around. Notable points visible from the hill include Kalsubai peak, highest peak in Maharashtra, the artillery firing range, artillery golf course and training center, etc. The hill is a short 5-10 minutes climb over well maintained and clean steps. Khanderao temple graces the summit of the hill at one end. At the other end is sunset point. There are open air gym equipments along the terraces on the hill slopes. The hill has restroom facilities that are stinky and poorly maintained as with most public places. A nice garden is maintained at the foot of the hill and it is a popular family park. The hill climb is popular with fitness enthusiasts. The people visiting the hill and the park need to be more responsible and avoid littering.
