Way towards Vallone Vineyards is so beautiful and serene that it has got mountains and lakes on both sides of the road. Upon reservation they offer rooms to stay, a chance to sip their freshly fermented wines and equally taste their food which is appealing in presentation. You can buy wine bottles of your choice when you leave. A must visit place !!

Road to reach the place is pathetic.👎 View is great 👍 Menu - good food 👍 Wine- 👍 great The ambience and staff are mannered and courteous We really like visiting Vallonne. It also has rooms to stay. If you are traveling with kids, then they have options of cold coffee as well. Special attraction ❣️ for us was Ginger the dog who welcomed us warmly❣️

The vineyard is a 4 hour drive from Mumbai city. Roads are very good to drive. We visited for 2 nights in Nov'2020. The COVID-19 safety protocols are well in place, very hygienic and spacious rooms. Staff is very much co-operative and the room service is super fast. We stayed in lawn facing premium room, however vineyard facing rooms could be more preferred for the amazing view. There is no TV and wifi but the place covers up for these and you really don't need either of it. The place is a paradise for wine lovers!! Things to do- 1. It is preferable to do the 1 hour wine tasting on the first day itself to get a better idea of your wine preferences. They have wine for everyone - first timers, occasionally who drinks as well as for wine lovers. Prabhakar Kale - explains the entire process of wine extraction and tasting in crisp and interesting manner. 2. You can walk through the entire vineyard and get a glimpse of the property. 3. There is a beautiful lake nearby which is must visit to view the sunset/sunrise. This is a 10 mins walk and adjacent to the vineyard. 4. The property owners provide bicycles on prior request. The vineyard does not have a proper cycling trail. One can do cycling outside the vineyard in the lanes of the small village, however the trail is not very suitable for cycling. 5. One can explore the nearby lanes which has small houses, cattle sheds and fields... highly recommended for nature lovers. You can see many varieties of birds as well. 6. You can walk upto a lake which must be approx 3 km and this is a calm serene place. About food- There is no option for food nearby so the Malaka restaurant in the vineyard is the only option. The preparation is very good. Different varieties are available, however menu was restricted during COVID-19. But the ones served was very well prepared. The food is expensive so having a look at the menu properly could help. However there is no compromise on taste and quantity. There are minimum but very good and tasty breakfast options. It is recommended to go for complimentary breakfast option. Overall would rate 10/10.... Nice place to chill with family, to roam around with friends, extremely courteous staff, hygienic rooms, good dining experience, very good views. Must visit during monsoon and winters.. Totally value for money!

We stayed at the vineyard for 3 days and had an amazing experience! After having travelled for 3 weeks in India, it was the perfect place to relax. The vineyard is in a beautiful area, full of nature and lakes. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff was very attentive and really going the extra mile. Food in the restaurant is very good. A wine tasting was included in the booking, and we were impressed by the quality of the wines and the knowledge of vineyard staff! All in all, I would definitely recommend this place!

Worst quality of service offered. Arrogant waiters and manager. Not at all accommodating staff. Rooms are not clean and the food quality and also the wine taste is also not up to the mark. Grover zampa is anytime better than vallonne.

Good food, great outdoor seating. One major problem was that there were lot of flies in and around us (where we were sitting outdoors) and these were also hovering around our food. When we asked the staff to do something about it, we were sent a glass of mint leaves to our table which apparently was supposed to care of the flies problem, but sadly didn't work much. All they need to do is get a good size fly killing machine and install it outdoors... this will be the end to the flies problem which overall made the entire food experience, I must say Disgusting...

It has a great view, however it ends with that. At max it can hold 25patrons but they cramp in a lot more. No waiting lounge. Its around 9+ kms from highway so you have no option but to wait for your table, even if its 2 hours. If with kids, imagine the situation. Food is good but overpriced. Wine is strictly okay, nothing great. Better to take an off-roader to this place.

Vallone Vineyards and Malaka Spice their restaurant is located at a distance of about 3.5 hours from Mumbai and about an hour from Nashik. The view from the restaurant is breathtaking with terrace overlooking vineyard and beautiful lake. Food is south East Asian cuisine and service super quick. It may be a bit expensive.

Awesome Place ! The Wine Tasting Tour is really best , you get all the basic info. of wine and vineyards. And Ofcourse you get to taste the amazing wines of Vallone. The Place is surrounded by beautiful scenery , so even the ride to the vineyard would be a loving experience. A Must Visit place.

Very Quite and less crowded place..View from the Restaurant at Vallonne is really Amazing. Food at the restaurant is average and overly priced. It's an hour drive from Nasik city, however the road towards the Vineyard is bumpy. Best time to visit is in winters. Overall a great place to visit for people who love nature and spend some quite time with loved ones.

Superb Location Super Wines Super Food & Super Service. The views as you may have seen in the photos don’t do full justice, you can let hours pass experiencing the wind, rain and the changing horizon from one of the balconies on the property. The restaurant Malaka Spice serves South East Asian cuisine and if you book a table on the deck, amazing view from the deck...sipping your favorite wine ....plantation, lake and greenery. Staff are well trained in terms of the new safety protocols and I didn’t see them wander around without face shields/masks or gloves. The wines on offer are much better tasting than the more popular commercially marketed ones and the tour will definitely help you appreciate wine and the wine making process better. The food is excellent so is the service, if you want a quiet getaway from the city it is a must-do.

Great escape from the city. Nestled amidst the lush Western Ghat mountains and lapped by the placid Mokashi river, we couldn't have asked for a better weekend getaway for our family. This vineyard estate offers sweeping views of the river, mountains and has an extensive property dotted with grapevines. The stay includes a tour of their winery and a tasting of six homegrown wines. The food from the restaurant Malaka Spice which is part of the property is Pan Asian featuring some really flavoursome dishes worth writing home about. Special mention for the Lamb Chops, Nasi Goreng and Malay Spice Noodles. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, with good overall service. The place has antique, vintage decor and furnishings, and is very hygienic and neat. Only thing missing was a swimming pool. Overall, we had a great experience. Would highly recommend, and it's worth the 4-hour drive from Mumbai.

We have went here for Vineyard your. It was great experience with amazing view! There are 3 vineyard tour daily where they offer 6 wine tastings at the cost of ₹600/- per person. Timing of the tours are 12 pm, 2 pm & 4 pm. The guide was having good knowledge about the vine making process and he was friendly. Around 1 km of patch near to vineyard are in very bad condition.

Title: A Wonderful Experience at Valonne Vineyards I recently had the pleasure of visiting Valonne Vineyards, and I must say it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The wine, the food, the location, and the staff all contributed to a truly memorable time. The wine at Valonne Vineyards is simply outstanding. Every sip was a delight to the palate, showcasing the craftsmanship and dedication of the winemakers. From robust reds to crisp whites, their selection catered to a variety of tastes and preferences. It's a paradise for wine enthusiasts. The food served at Valonne Vineyards perfectly complemented the wine. The flavors were exquisite, and the dishes were expertly prepared. Whether you're looking for small bites to pair with your wine or a full dining experience, the menu offers a satisfying range of options. Located in a remote but charming setting, Valonne Vineyards provides a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The presence of a nearby lake adds to the enchantment, creating a picturesque backdrop that enhances the overall ambiance. It's the ideal place to unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. What truly sets Valonne Vineyards apart is its exceptional staff. The service was warm, attentive, and friendly, making me feel genuinely welcomed throughout my visit. Nizam, the host, deserves special recognition for his hospitality and knowledge. He went above and beyond to ensure that every guest had a remarkable experience. In conclusion, my time at Valonne Vineyards was nothing short of wonderful. The remarkable wine, delicious food, picturesque location, and the attentive staff make it a must-visit destination. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or simply looking for a memorable outing, Valonne Vineyards will leave you with lasting impressions and a desire to return.

Do not fall prey for the reviews here , those are paid ones . Place is very difficult to access. Prices are very high compared to quality and quantity of food . Wines are below average. A person who knows about wines will rate negative star to their wine tastes . Service is very slow . Not a place for second time visit .

I absolutely couldn’t find anything interesting in this place and the staff makes your experience further boring. 1) It’s vineyard, if you are going with expectations to see grapes Farms then you will be disappointed. 2) Very small property with restaurants capacity not more than 30-40pax. 3) They make you pay for wine testing session which is in the basement (production area) 4) production facilities is not maintained well and no live demo is given. They will put 5-7 bottles on table and explain. 5) Through out the Demo, you have been encouraged to buy wines from this place. 6) Food is expensive but one time ok to spend. Taste is totally missing. 7) We were group of 6pax went with high expectations and totally disappointed. Not at all recommended

It's one of the underrated Vineyards I'd say. 1. Wine - amazing wine, reasonable price, we tried to varieties of white wine, loved them. Would've loved more if they had sparkling wine too which they don't. 2. Food. Overpriced but great in taste, quantity is decent. We tried 4 dishes, two starters, one noodles and one rice. 3. Ambience - the view is lovely. You get to wine and dine with a lake view and mountains. Even though they have limited seatings 4. Service - amazing service, on time and we'll catered for. 5. Location- outskirts of Nashik, the roads are fine except for last 1 KM stretch.

The most horrible last 2 kms of road, literally swimming pools to cross, the most weird part to me is that being the home to the brand they don't offer wine by the glass. The food is too expensive for it to be a quick thing. The place small and bland to say the least. The wines itself are really good but then you'd be better off buying a bottle from a store and going to a better, more accessible and happening place

The road leading to it is rusty. Its a small private place, with worn out name board too. But the food here is great with lots of options. Their wine is also great and the atmosphere and ambiance is very calm and peaceful. They do offer a wine tasting, but we didn’t take that up. People usually come here for the food wine and the peacefulness.

An excellent location for visuals. Green with water bodies all around. Food caters to Indian Chinese palate. I feel as it's a wine and dine restaurant there should be cheese and Italian menu as Chinese food doesn't auger well with wine. More good for romantic getaways for Mumbaites as it has stay too. Overall a good location. Road as can be expected, once you are off the highway are just motorable but it's not too far away.

This place is a gem! Visited after new year's day. Comfortable and inviting furnishing in rooms (antique furniture, very cozy) and large common living area with amazing views of the mountains and lake (Mukane reservoir). The food at Malaka Spice is excellent, and the service is truly exceptional. The wines also are fantastic. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating of requests. Highly recommended spot for a quiet honeymoon or weekend getaway. Things to note - the access road is not of great quality and street lighting is poor, so don't plan on driving to/from this spot after sunset. The rooms don't have wifi or TV, but I wasn't complaining as the views and serenity here are out of this world. Safe spot to visit in these covid times.

An outstanding boutique place for stay plus fnb. Just 4 rooms but a picturesque location facing the mountains and the dam waterbody. During monsoons the place will be breathtaking I imagine. We had a special dinner meet to celebrate my family member’s birthday and Mahesh made it very very special. Well curated wines mostly dry is their signature collection. We had an engaging conversation with wine taster Prabhakar Kale who too us thru the process of their wine making. Malaka Spice is the restaurant where we spent the evening. The deck overlooking the water body, Valley plus the sundowning is a moment to treasure with a Chardonnay glass in hand. We had our golden moments and thrilled at this amazing discovery. Great pics to share with and here we go!

Well maintained, secluded getaway with loveable dog on site (Ginger), and polite staff (shoutouts to Mahesh, Nizam & Haq). Sunset views are stunning and the wine tour conducted by Prabhakar is a superb add-on. Complimentary breakfast buffet is simple and sufficient. Wish there were some healthier food options for lunch and dinner since menu's a bit rich for guests staying more than 2 days and there's nothing else close by. Suggest going on weekdays if you prefer the quiet. Internet connectivity is patchy in this area; wi-fi would be a welcome addition.

Booked this place after finding out about it on an MTDC travel series. Never hear of vinery or the wines they produce so practically came in not expecting much. But got back much much more. First reaching the location takes a bit of an off path drive but if you love driving you definitely enjoy this. The location is beautiful and you can literally sit at the balcony and just keep sipping their wonderful wines while taking in the beauty of the place, looking out at the lake and the vinery. They have only 4 rooms and we were the only guests at the place so we practically had the whole place to ourselves. The rooms are modest and nothing much fancy, but clean and neat and tidy. As for the wine tasting, I can certainly say that these were one of the best wines I've tasted around here in India. Cabernet sauvignon is my personal favourite. with a staff of only 8 people producing the wine, the emphasis on quality is very well noticeable. Finally the food of the in house restaurant Malaka Spice really blends in with wine served. Very friendly staff and a well knowledged tour guide made our stay even more pleasant. They even gifted us a bottle of wine while checking out. Do give the little place a try I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Too far to reach, navigating bad roads. The room was too small to even say it was comfortable. The only food option was Malaka spice, too costly and one type of taste. The property itself is very small, with no amenities , activities to do.

Good experience, ambiance, food. Just one complaint. It is too inside from the main highway. Also the roads are not that good. Otherwise everything is good.

One time wine 🍷 tasting is good experience and worth the money as you get good amount of information and 5-6 wine to taste if you are newbie Restaurant is average as couple of dishes were good and other few were not as per expectations Garden is quite simple and good Scenery and location is average (atleast in winter and summer) Don't forget to taste desert wine and to bring one to home 🏡

We stayed at Vallonne Vinyards for one night, in October’23. We had an excellent stay, the rooms were fantastic, very clean and beautiful views to the lake and hills beyond. We experienced a tour and wine tasting, which was hugely insightful and the wines we tasted were excellent. We ate at Malaka Spice (on the same premises) and the food and service was all of a very high standard. Thanks to all the team at Vallonne for making our stay memorable.

Had great time in my overnight stay at this place. Loved the location. It’s a beautiful serene peaceful place. Great ambience. Excellent vintage furniture. Staff and service is great. Food is great. And their wines are just amazing. All in all awesome experience. Feeling absolutely refreshed.

This place offers a serene and calming atmosphere, perfect for escaping the city's noise and enjoying some quality time with friends and family. We tried their Riesling wine, which was both sweet and refreshing. The pumpkin chips we had were delicious and the view of the mountains and vineyard was simply amazing. Highly recommended for wine lovers and anyone who enjoys beautiful scenery!

  • 5/5 Rohit R. 3 years ago on Google
Fantastic slice of heaven! Serene, peaceful and beautiful! The food at Malaka Spice is nothing to rave about, but pair it with a lovely Vallonne Merlot and the meal becomes simply magical. The obscurity of this place makes it a bit difficult to access (even by road) but that means it is all the more unspoilt by the riff raff of sightseers and clueless tourists. Full marks to the overall experience.

Cute boutique winery along a gorgeous setting by a reservoir offering some great views of the vineyard, reservoir and the hills. The last 1km leading up to the property is I paved and a little bumpy. The vintners are passionate and proud about the wines they produce there. They took ample time to explain, answer questions and provide recommendations. The food at the restaurant was delish too. We sipped some cab sauv with the food and then bought a half dozen bottles to take back. This was my first trip to a winery in India so can’t compare but will definitely be back to this one in the future.

It's a pleasant place to have a cup of wine and lunch with family and friends. The food here is amazing though on the expensive side, but I bet you wouldn't complain about any dish that's served. Dessert are just mind-blowing. Would say a must visit place for wine tasting and lunch. Perfect time for wine tasting would be the 12Pm Slot as you would have less crowd and much more time to explore. Since it's an hour of wine tasting and process explaination you would definitely know which wine you would prefer to have and accordingly purchase it while having lunch😊. Preferred wine that I would suggest would me 1. Vallonne Viognier (White wine) 2. Vallonne Rosé (Pink Wine)- you would get a smell of chilli in it😜 3. Vallonne Merlot ( Red wine)

The most brilliant place, secluded, cool even in summer, has the most brilliant food to offer and of course the best wines to go along with the food. Strongly recommended for a quick get away from Mumbai. Prebook well in advance as they have only 4 rooms which get booked quicky (sometimes a year in advance). You must explore the lake side (walking distance). Directions to the best lake view: Go out of the gate and take a right turn, then walk about 800 meters, you will see a narrow left turn and a downhill walkway between fences. Just walk down and you will find the lake side. Carry a chattai or something that you can sit on. Enjoy the view, it's meditative almost.
