We had been to this place in May first week. This was a bike trip and it was drizzling. It is quite serene and beautiful lake. We had camping over there and would recommend this to you all for one night camping at lake side ⛺️

Oct 13, 2017 We are a travel couple & love to explore new places & things. On this long weekend trip, it was our 2nd day in Nashik & we decided to visit the Bhandardara dam. Since it was October there were no rains & so the Dam was also not having much of water. We decided to move further & we came across this beautiful sight of Arthur Lake. The very first sight of this place and we both fell in love with it. The levels of water, the lush green scenery, views of mountains, pristine blue waters, we were mesmerized by the view. One can setup up a tent very close to the waters. There is an option of boating here & trust me it was worthwhile. You can take the option of paddle boating at 100/- pp or motorboat 200/- pp. It is very easy to miss the lake as not many tourists know about this spot. It was a beautiful experience and a must for nature lovers.

Bhandardara, a hill station nestled in the Sahyadri ranges of Maharashtra, has all the nature's blessings a place can get. The lush greenery, the humble waterfalls and surrounded by high mountains makes for the perfect holiday spot for city dwellers. Situated in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, Bhandardara is 117 km. from Mumbai and is easily accessible through roadways. This little village is packed with so many attractions coupled with the serenity of the nature that it makes for an adventurous weekend to run away from the hustle and bustle of the cities. A perfect weekend destination from Mumbai, Pune and Nashik. Away from hustle bustle of city life, you can opt for stay in resorts which are nestled in natural settings or even can camp with your friends. experience the magic of nature with calm serene ambiance

Beautiful calm lake where you can pitch your tent and enjoy the bliss. If you don’t have a tent you can ask villagers and they can have one pitched for you in the range of 1000β‚Ή-1500β‚Ή. You can swim as well in the lake. with the cool breeze blowing, it really adds to the experience.

This is a magical spot. Stayed at the camp site of bhandardara lake view camping and experienced one of the best sunsets. The location is peaceful. And the landowner also owns a restaurant. He did food delivery for lunch and dinner. Just perfect. No mosquitoes. No insects. No moist or mist. Just a heaven on earth.

This is beautiful blue lake during the winters and looks dramatic during the monsoon season. The best time to visit is monsoon, as there so much greenery around and there are many waterfalls you can see that makes it a must-visit place. Do enjoy the boiled corn and also the yummy crispy corn bhajiya which is absolutely yummy.

Lake Arthur looks like an ocean from pictures, but it is 10 times beautiful when you get there. Surrounded by hills on all sides, it is best during monsoons. Camping is an awesome attraction here.
