This place is amazing. Location is very close to all the sightseeing places at walkable distance. It is the best homestay in Nashik. Host Pooja is very helpful and friendly. She arranged a transport for us for local sightseeing and also guided us to best food places in Nashik. Rooms are very hygienic. Beds are very comfortable. Washroom is sharing but hygienic. Raahgir is perfectly located within the walkable distance of most visited places in old Nashik. Pooja is a great host, making sure everyone is at ease during the stay. Dorms are clean, easthetic and well ventilated. There is a terrace to hop onto for calm sunsets and nights. This is a home turned into hostel, which still maintains the vibe of home with a nice kitchen.

Amazing clean comfortable colourful place to soak in the wonders of this culturally rich city- Pooja and her lovely sister Meera made me so welcome and helped me arrange everything - even food and Ayurvedic medicine when I got sick-( westerners beware the river- beautiful to see all the people blessing it with thier faith but not so good to get splashed in the face with!!) was so good to have a kitchen and amazing parades and things always happening right out side the window! Also did I mention it’s above a delicious sweet shop?! So good Thankyou again I came as a guest but left with great friends! Much love 💓

Best place to stay in Nashik. Close to every sightseeing spot in the old historical area of the city. Run by tow amazing women, wich help you out with everything and making you feel like home so far away from home. Very clean rooms and bathrooms and a kitchen wich can be used by everyone. In the living room you can hang out together or watch a movie on Netflix.

Great place to stay with friends and family. We were here as a team for a competition and it was a good experience. There are enough bathrooms that everyone was able to get ready at once in the morning. Fully functional kitchen - just have to buy the groceries. Was able to get staple groceries from.shops downstairs. Easy to get around Nashik using ola and uber. Also swiggy delivers from all restaurants. Definitely checkout udupi tadka sukh sagar for good pizza and indian food. Host was extremely organized and was able to answer all our questions and queries. They also helped us organize a day trip to temples as well as midnight trip back to Mumbai. Truly felt like home away from home. Highly recommended!

Only hostel I found in nashik and for a dorm I guess the price is little high and it's not exactly a hostel but kind of a homestay. I had a little bad experience here as I was riding all day and when reached I was immediately asked for id by Pooja . I asked for 5-10 mins to keep my bags and let me just wash my face but she didn't allow and mentioned that you should read the rule. Very rude behaviour. Met few very good people here. And it's clean. So it was goo overall.

I had an amazing experience staying at Raahgir. First of, it is in the centre of the city, so very well connected. The place is so clean and tidy with the kitchen having all the basic facilities. Raahgir is a Urdu word synonymous with Wayfarer. I was passing by Nashik and opted Raahgir for two nights stop, which is the only hostel available in Nashik currently. I highly recommend for people looking for clean place and a host with a warm heart. It is not like any other commercial hostels, you will feel at home here. Raahgir!! In the first look itself I was in love with the room because of its beautiful interior and colourful walls. Also started calling it "Ragabiragi Rooms". Pooja Taiee is a wonderful host. After travelling for whole day just little small talks with her takes away all the tiredness of the day. The rooms are super cute and beds are very much comfortable. It Just gives you homely feels. "Cleanliness is next to godliness" Yes Raahgir takes that very seriously! The rooms and specially the washrooms are crystal clean. My friend and I recently visited Nashik for vacation. We came across Raahgir online and we fell in love with the pictures. When we actually reached there, the place was exactly how it looked in the photos. Extremely clean, very homely vibes, comfortable rooms and the location is a plus point. It's right in the heart of city so most sightseeing places are within quick reach or walking distance. The host Pooja Joshi deserves a special mention as she has done a great job by creating such place for travellers for affordable prices. She is very co - operative and goes out of the way to help the guests. She booked a cab for us at night when we couldn't due to network issue. Additionally I would mention the cleaning lady, Geeta Tai does a fantastic job in keeping the place spotless. It was a great experience I stayed in hostel after about 1 year, although this time I was on business travel. But still the host (Pooja) was great and reminded me of the time when I was solo travelling after quitting my job. The best quality of Pooja is she is a good listener and also has knowledge of local places.

I stayed for a week. It was homely, very clean, and well maintained. It is in the centre of the city, so all the visiting locations in Naashik are within walking distance. Puja's space, Raahgir is the perfect reflection of its founder's personality, warm, welcoming, and nature friendly. She was quick to respond, guide me to destination, and suggest eateries and nearby places to pay the visit. Raahis and nature-friendly travelers will instantly connect with her space. The rooms are well lit and Proper ventilation takes care of air flow in rooms. One can open the window with proper mosquito net without worry, and best part is, it doesn't require AC. Rooms don't have the attached bathroom, but it only improves the hygiene quotient of the space. Washrooms are super clean. She's space too cook, chitchat and exchange ideas. Highly recommended for backpackers.

We were U.S. foreigners traveling with our five-year old daughter. Staying at Raaghir with Pooja is like visiting a long lost cousin or family member. You immediately feel at home and comfortable. The rooms themselves are great with all you’d expect from a well run hostel in terms of cleanliness and sense of safety, and the decoration is beautiful, simple and curated. You can tell this has been a well loved and well cared for family home for decades. But really the reason to book is to have Pooja on your side in Nashik. Communication was outstanding from start to finish, she helped us navigate the city, and coordinated all our needs including a driver to Mumbai. It was a pleasure to simply lounge and talk with her when there was free time. We felt incredibly lucky to have found Raaghir on our extended travels, and you can anticipate to feel the same if you book this lovely gem of a stay in the very heart of old Nashik.

Stayed at Raahgir for two nights, at the end of August. The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom is spotless. The host of Raahgir is great and is always eager to help you with any problem. She helped me with getting to Nipha vineyard and with giving me direction of where to get the bus to Surat. Overall an amazing homely stay, with a great and helpful host.

This was my first hostel stay, I have always stayed in 4-5 stars hotels before as I am apprehensive of the hygiene of sharing a bathroom with others, but this was the best experience I could ever get. Pooja, the owner, has raised the bar so high, now I am looking forward to staying in hostels 1. The place is not just clean its super clean! Pooja is very helpful and quite knowledgeable about the city and surroundings. 2. The hostel is ideally located in Old Nashik and is contemporary with its old charm and new legacy that the owner wants to carry. WIFI is good as I was able to work 3. Home cooked food is also available on request, though centrally located you get local food options down on the street itself and since availability of clean kitchen and fresh produce market downstairs- one can easily cook for themselves I loved everything about this place, a few negligible drawbacks 1. NO ALCOHOL 2. Although this was not a problem for me- outside can get tad bit noisy sometimes because of the surroundings

From the first moment of the visit we had an excellent welcome. Meera made us feel like we were at home. The place is very welcoming and one of the cleanest we found on this long trip to India (there are multiple showers with hot water). There is a common area where you can chat with other travellers, especially Europeans, and with the owner, who is always available to help. You can use the kitchen, with drinking water available. Guesthouse in a very central position, close to the river and the temples. Highly recommended, I don't think there is a better place in Nashik ♥️ P.s: the handmade ladou by Meera are absolutely worth trying. They are delicious!!
