After driving all the way from the main city only to realise the place is shut. Timings are from 9am to 1pm. Reached at 2:30pm thinking it will be open like all other museum. Google map shows 3 gates out of which the main gate to enter the main colony is correct. Security were very kind is helping us figure out the timings. Timing on Google map is wrong.

Only Sunday it will be opened and entrance is free. However, there are no highly sophisticated models in display. A simple samples are made available. In case, if you are nearby then have a look otherwise just ignore. It's more of a reading material type exhibition.

We visited pragati museum, HAL Township, today, 15august, with kids. Must visit for every school students, they will surely like it. Museum in open only on Sundays 10am to 4pm, and may be on special occasions in view of Azadi ke 75 sal. Their mobile number is also available on-line, (Search HAL Nashik Pragati museum, call before going) . Entry fee 5Rs. Ample 4wheelers parking, better go using own car as it is about 1,5km inside from main gate. Weekdays, citybuses are also available from Panchwati mainbusstand. Schools can arrange trips for entire class and inform museum management before visit so that they will keep museum open. Museum is located in the ozar township. Very wel maintained and a good systematic display gallery of HAL journey, various aircraft products ex. MiG21, 27, Sukhoi etc. Also there is a gallery of aircraft parts actuals, 4 small video clips to know about HAL, Various milestones achieved. Just behind museum, we can also visit Shri Gajanan Maharaj temple complex. Salute to HAL team for all the great efforts done for our nation and thanks to museum management team for having such a wonderful museum near Nashik.

Its nice for kids. Its a small space with very few at scale parts on display. Place is clean and neat. Outdoors there's play area for kids. It could be improved but I think compared to many other museums in India this is way better.

We reached from Nasik with our Grand kids to Museum and it was closed. Date 23Oct 22. It was long waited SUNDAY. We reached at 9.10am. main gates were closed. Along side is community center. Sentry told it may open at 10.00. We kept waiting till 10.30 am. No sign of opening museum. Sentry tried to call somebody , it was futile. So we returned back NASIK. Can we ask , why was not it declared. Nobody knows there. The place was untidy.

Drove all the way from Mumbai only to be told by the rude security staff it is not allowed. If Museum is not meant for people why mention it is open on Sundays. Security asked me from where did I come and simply refused entry ..HAL take note..

Pragati Aerospace Museum (also known as "Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Pragati Museum") is situated outside the town of Nashik in India. In August 2001, HAL opened this museum to showcase their technical achievements and commendable journey. The models of air-crafts manufactured by HAL are kept here for display. The models are mounted on pylons. The aerospace museum is divided into two rooms. One room is showcasing pictorial history of HAL, including flight history, fighter plane technology, etc. And the other room contains some polished components of aircraft, mainly Sukhoi Su-30, Mig-21, and Mig-27. Also a Mig-21's pilot helmet and flight suit dating from 1963 are displayed here.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ I came across winery while on my recent nasik good trip.it's located on the outskirts of Nasik city and can be easily found via navigation. It's quite a huge property with a beautiful and scenic garden outside the restaurant. The place is built with lively art work. Gives me a feeling of the shacks...
