BHABA ATOMIC RESEARCH CENTRE hospital Medical Division is providing healthcare facility to the Employees of DAE and their dependant family members inside Mumbai. This facility is provided under Contributory Health Services Scheme (CHSS). For this purpose a 390 bedded Multispeciality Hospital along with 13 zonal residential dispensaries inside Mumbai.

I got this hospital as my Vaccination Center for Covaxin... I would say this is the cleanest government hospital I've seen, arrangements done for Vaccination were quite proper and staff was also Co-operative and friendly...even elders were treated in a good way...and nurses were also well trained...my overall experience was excellent..

Hospital good for cleanliness,all facilities are available at least to show off but worst government hospital I have seen still now. Employees there pay for CHSS facility (medical facility ) still they are treated as if they are availing free medical service.. So many cases of ill treatment still no one has tried to raise voice.. and if anyone raise n ask question his or her voice is shut up by rules n regulations .. HUGE politics even for treatments.. I feel pity for employees working there.

Doctors and staffs are really very rude and don't have any ethics and are unable to provide proper guidance and you can't request them because they treat you as if you are a burden on them and are least bothered about your problems.

Other than the fact that I was born in this hospital and the infrastructure is well maintained! Since childhood I have heard about deaths due to negligence on the part of the hospital staff! And sadly no one has ever been held responsible for those deaths. "Recommendation of relatives sometimes causes degradation of quality in service". On the other hand ,I would like to thank all those hospital staff who are hardworking and have dedication in what they do.

My mother has been frequently admitted at this place. My personal experience, the nursing staff are horrible. They think they are paying for every patients expenses from their pockets, utterly disgusting. To add it more their maushis and cleaning staff do not respond to patients need. Everybody takes their own sweet time to attend to patients. There is no handwash soap in the washroom of the ladies ward an empty bottle even after bringing it to their attention. All our requests are atteneded by deaf ears. A hospital cannot even think of basic hygiene what more could I add. Extremely Shameful BARC!

Such a big place and an amazing hospital. Met Dr. Neha Gupta for hernia surgery of my relative. She explained everything properly and the surgery was smooth and was discharged in 2 days. Staff were helpful too Dr. Neha is fantastic in what she does. Absolute recommend.

Worst experience ever, the new staff is careless, they talk rude and don’t really take care, they actually want patents to get out ASAP, no proper care is taken, no feeding is done, patients who can’t move esp with them these people are very rude also the aayas there hit patients slap them and the nurses there support these aayas, and then they suggest get a private aaya to take care of the patient so that they can earn more money. Worst experience with ultrasound dept. Pregnant ladies are asked to sit for 6 long hours just for 20mins sonography. Doctors are not available most of the time. Just a waste of time to get the sign from head person

If ur patient is in critical condition please dont admit your patient here unless u dont have a option, they are using patients for training of RMO doc's. There are a lot of cases where people died due to negligence, my personal experience is very bad my dad had hernia my dad was operated by BARC doc who was a trainee and he forgot to put mesh in the stomach due to which my dad suffered pain and black spots near belly operation was done in 2016 we didn't knew this had happened later the pain started he suffered a lot we were given an appointment for April 2020 operation couldn't be done due to pandemic so we took another appointment for Jan 2021 i was told that they will operate him on monday but first we need covid report which is understandable we gave the sample to concern person who told that it takes only 1 or 2 days for the report my dad gave sample on friday morning 9:00 am and he was first person to give sample that day, now on the day of operation(monday) they said that we don't have ur fathers covid report in the file my dad was on NBH i.e no breakfast and water in this condition he was told to wait in the general ward later i checked with the private lab were sample was sent, they said we dont have any sample of this patient i gave my dad's mobile no and name they clearly said no we dont have due which operation was delayed again but thank god these senior doctor was looking in the matter.....

Pathetic service of dental department. They keep on giving date, even don't inform on doctors unavailability though appointment was confirmed. Staff's are not cooperative at all..

I experienced service of this hospital twice one for my tympanoplasty which was a good experience. And second my ligament surgery, which was good operated but the follow-up procedures were bad as they were doing some kind of favour to us. I kindly request ortho opd senior surgeons and residents to be kind to patients. We are not seeking free medical services. A part we pay for that. Yes and also the very senior matron of ward, you can't complain about the staff even aayas. Before we could they themself will complain against the patient once they realize it. 4 stars for ent but unfortunately 2 stars for ortho opd. Just a message being a patient, be kind for them and also have good attitude towards them.

I have been there three times. Experience worsened each time to the next. First time, I had knee pain, they found nothing with X-ray report, gave some ointment to apply. It didn't help. Next time I went with earache, that time they were not even ready to accept that I had any problem. A sister checked my ear canal with a torchlight and said that she sees nothing wrong. Third time, I went with high fever, I was first wrongly diagnosed with dengue, so I was soon admitted. Later they found I had influenza not dengue. With natural treatment of saline and paracetamol, in two days my fever went away, but they kept me for the recovery of my platelet count. The room was so noisy at night (caused by attendees and guardians of fellow patients ), I could not sleep almost all night. It felt much worse than while I had fever. Suffering from acute headache, next morning I begged (junior) doctors to discharge me. They told me that only the doctor in charge has the authority of an early discharge. But the doctor refused to entertain any such plea. She further took me for mental patient for making such request. By the way, my platelet count was around 70k. Luckily, my request for placing me in another room was granted in the afternoon. This new room, reserved for patients in observation after their recovery, was heaven compare to the earlier one. Naturally, I felt well the next day. I had to wait for four more days to get discharged, that too only when another doctor took charge. All through the good and bad there, I was treated more like a guinea pig than a patient. That was and will be my last visit to this horrible place.

BARC Hospital is one of the top most worst Hospitals in Mumbai. Everyone is saying it has great infrastructure and cleanliness but what about Doctors and Nurses and Staff? They have kept RMO instead of experienced Doctors. RMO don't have much experience and they treat the patient according to their knowledge. And even senior doctors cant save patients who are in critical condition. And mark my words whoever are BARC employees please buy a health insurance for your family and get treatment in a Private Hospital and dont rely on BARC Hospital coz Doctors in BARC Hospital are not good. One of my friend's dad (Senior Citizen) was in a critical condition and at BARC Hospital they kept him for 3 days and kept saying its a critical condition and he might die. Then luckily on 4th day they shifted him to one of the private hospital and there his dad started talking like a normal person after one day. And his health improved day by day. And at BARC hospital doctors were saying his health is not improving. What the hell BARC Doctors were doing for 3 cuffing days? If you cant save patients life then you are not eligible as a doctor. You should quit your job. First thing BARC Hospital should do is they should remove all RMO Doctors and get experienced and good doctors. If we have good doctors at BARC Hospital then there is no need of shifting patient to a private hospital for saving patient's life. Second thing teach manners to the Nurses and ayas and doctors of BARC hospital how to talk and treat patient. Specially ayas and nurses. All are kaamchor. And rude. And for so many years there is no provision for angiography and Angioplasty and other big things. First of all they dont have experienced doctors so no question of angiography and angioplasty etc... I think they dont want to take experienced doctors. They just want to decrease population.

This hospital is for DAE-BARC staff only. Very neat & clean Hospital and well managed with strict security. Lots of place for parking which is well managed by security staff and proved very useful during vaccination of Covid for neighbouring area's public also.

Hospital is very good but it is overloaded. doctors appointment not given on phone . You must come hospital for whole day for taken doctor appointment and again come for treatment by doctor . Very Rude Nurses and with forgranted job just handle patients like animals, Spent most of the time chitchatting and after 12 switch off all lights and sleep making no rounds on the patients and behave as if patients are a burden.

They pridicted my father's plus rate, blood pressure and sugar level when he's suffering from bradycardia (glioblastoma multiple) . For 3 days and pressuring us to leave hospital when my father is in serious condition.

One of the best Government Hospital in Mumbai when it comes to good infrastructure. Hospital is well maintained with almost all facilities available. Green and tidy environment is maintained in premises.

I dropped in today morning at BARC Casualty ward to check if RT-PCR can be done immediately and report is made available within same day or next morning. When I reached here I met Ms. Joisy and later on Dr. Shagufta. Both assured me that some SRL guy will come and get your test done and ensure that you get the report by tomorrow morning and even earlier. The person Mr. Anil Chache also understood my concern and allowed me to sit inside chair under fan till the time, the SRL guy arrives to collect sample. He even assured me that he will let me know, once they drops in. Shagufta ma'am requested casualty staff members including Joisy ma'am to help me out and she personally told me knock at Lab for any issue. When the SRL guy arrived, Joisy ma'am personally went to check them and then introduced me and told my concern that report is required within today night or tomorrow morning. I am so grateful to all these staff members who helped me as if I belong their family. I never ever had such an wonderful and pleasant experience and that too in a govt hospital, for a patient who doesn't even belong to either their hospital or their City. It was an real honour for me after visiting the BARC casualty as I never expected this level of support. God bless the entire team and I wish them the bestest luck. Parallely request management to acknowledge their efforts they put for everyone.

A central government hospital for BARC employees and retirees this is a reasonably good hospital providing a wide range of medical services. Beautiful location at the foothills of the mountains with both outpatient and inpatient services.

Recently my left eye cataract surgery was done at BARC Hospital Ophthalmic Department .I found the staff and team to be disciplined, dedicated and very cordial.The cleanliness, safety and hygiene were the best . Although the number of cataract cases of Sr.Citizens are on the rise the limited staff has to be on toes to meet requirement.”Appreciate their hard work.”

The most u unefficient doctors panels are here , training doctor who don't even properly know how to insert injection they think himself surgeon , South Indian doctor and trainerr comein dirty chappal and all think BARC is their father hospital that no body will care ,ground food and cleaning staff is little bit okk becaus they have to be more cautious when a blame them for their mistakes

if you have any problem or disease you will get appointment after 3-4 months to do the diagnosis or get appointment of the opd...BARC people have no choice but to spend money to consult a private hospital.

Best hospital!! My parents were been tested covid positive.The hospital staff doctors took care of my parents so well !! Till we got bed in private hospital they gave them proper treatment. Also during my moms menopause they took of hers. I blindly trust BARC hospital and doctor's of BARC, so so knowledgeable they are !!

Probably one of the best Government hospitals out there. The staff especially the nurses in the individual patient wards are exceptionally good, the doctors are really well trained and have been known to take critical decisions only after through examination.
