It is considered among one of the holiest places of Maharashtra. Nestled within the seven peaks, the temple almost sticks out of a cliff. One can reach the temple either by steps or by "India's first" funicular railway system. The road to the hilltop passes through the raw, lush and verdant stretch of greenery. One will find a small array of hotels near the parking lobby to enjoy local delicacies.

Amazing experience. We reached the Base of the temple around 9.30. There was no rush at all. The rope way service is so hassle free, especially for the senior citizens. In temple too there was no rush at all.

I visit this temple every year once. With all the commercialization, the only development i liked here is the Ropeway. This is so much of convenience to everyone. The only thing people need to work on is.. when i say people it's the devotees I'm talking about - people need to behave and show some manners in the crowd.

Shree Saptashrungi devi temple is a must visit place. It's around 70 KMs from Nashik city. This is said to be one of the sakthipeet of goddess Durga. Even though I drove on ghat Road for the first time, the journey was very nice. The temple is situated at the center of seven hills. We can even reach there through steps. After climbing the hills to reach the main temple, there is a provision of ropeway car which they are charging Rs 110 (in 2023). Otherwise, we need to climb around 500 steps to reach the main temple.

One of the very well maintained and managed temples of Maharashtra. Loads of facilities for devotees ranging from tram like vehicle to reach on the hilltop, lifts, food court, ample parking space ect. Also the hilly road towards the temple is in very good condition - specially commendable considering the huge amount of vehicle movement it experiences on daily basis. To avoid large crowds, opt for weekdays. Also take your own pooja stuff to avoid getting cheated by local vendors who are selling things at 3 to 4 times cost.

Its too cold up there Hotel are very expensive and dirty Morning 6-7am is best time to visit temple, You will attend morning prayer Food Quality is not that good don't eat too much Roads are too risky There are some hill points do visit Do like review if it's helpful

I had a great time at Saptshrungi Mata Temple in Vani on Kojagiri Purnima. The temple was bustling and beautifully decorated. I felt a deep connection with the divine, and the whole experience was wonderful. I recommend it for a spiritual visit.

Very nice and devotional place. People have great faith in this place. It's surrounded by seven mountains that's why it's called saptshringi. Scenery and views of this place is awesome. The cable bus to reach at top is very thrilled experience. Must visit place.

With the newly constructed ropeway, the temple uis now easily reachable. A big food & shopping court at foothills and easy ride till temple has made the place much more easy to access. The natural beauty around the temple is serene and the darshan of devi Saptashringi is enough to ring in and infuse positivity to the parched soul..

The Shaktipeeth is near Nashik & Saputara. The Cost of Cab from nashik (to and fro) will be Rs.3000-3500. Beautiful Road....must visit in the early morning for beautiful clouds covering your car or bike. The selfie point on the way up is a good location viewing the valley. The Ropeway is the best... Do visit on Weekdays for less crowds. For Parking, 1) Can park at the shops outside, but need to buy something from the shop 😅😅 2) Can park in the ropeway building, the cost of that is nominal too. Must Avoid during the weekend. 🙏🙏🙏 Info : Goddess Sari's Right Hand fell here ... Thus Shaktipeeth... Covered by 7 Hills this Saptasrungi mata. Around 10ft tall with 18 hands. Jay Mata ji

Saptashrungi Devi Temple is located in Wani Gad, near Nashik. It is a mesmerizing destination for travelers seeking spiritual and natural beauty. It is a captivating historical site worth exploring. it is nearly 60 km from Nashik city and you can reach there by bus or through private vehicles. The temple is open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and has a facility to stay in the Wani area. There are nearly 500 to 550 steps to climb the temple. In between Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman temple is also there for devotees. Please beware of monkeys while climbing to the temple. They can be quite mischievous and may snatch your food items or belongings. You can also visit through the ropeway to the temple for that one need to pay 80 Rs per person. The serene atmosphere and cool breeze make it an ideal spot for meditation and introspection. The temple's architecture is a marvel, with its intricate carvings and ancient aura. The locals are warm and welcoming, adding to the overall charm of the place. Wani Gad also provides an opportunity for trekkers and adventure enthusiasts. it is a rewarding place for travelers with panoramic views of lush green valleys and cascading waterfalls. Saptashrungi Devi Wani Gad is a must-visit destination for both spiritual seekers and nature lovers. It offers a unique blend of religious devotion and natural beauty, making it a memorable experience for all devotees like me.

The temple is revered as one of Maharashtra's holiest sites, set amidst seven peaks and seemingly clinging to a cliff. Visitors can access the temple via steps or India's first funicular railway, traversing a scenic route through verdant greenery. Nearby hotels offer a chance to savor local delicacies. The rope ticket costs 90/- (subject to seasonal changes) for both ascending and descending trips, with a deposit necessary for the slip; forgetting incurs a fine equal to the original ticket price.

Amazing experience!! Travelled with my parents and they loved the entire experience. Lifts and special darshan line are availablefor senior citizens. Try to reach a little early, we reached around 9 AM on a Sunday and there was no queue but by the time we left around 11-1130 there was some rush. One more thing, a lot of local shop keepers there will literally jump in front of your vehicle asking you to stop and will convince you to park at their locations saying parking is full ahead. In reality there is a huge parking area available. You can safely park there. Also, they will try to sell you unnecessary things apart from usual Prasad thali. Unless you are interested in buying don't fall for this trap. Ropeway ticket per person was Rs 110. Keep it safe, it's required during exit.

Traveled from Nasik to Vani. The road condition is awesome, I didn't expect such good road.. most of the road distance is of tar and quite broad, you can easily drive at 80-100kmph..however be cautious as the traffic are both ways. Few patches in between. Once you reach Vani, kindly park your car at the govt parking areas , the parking is ample, they charge 50Rs for 2 hours and 50 rs subsequently for next hour. Beware of parking on the road provided by the local shops, they will tell you parking is free but you need to buy the Prasad and saree from them, the minimum amount starts from 350. In short they are thugs. Once you park your car then you can head on to ropeway. The charges for ropeway is 100 rs for adults and children upto 12 years are free. Once you reach mandir, there is huge crowd, no social distancing.. everyone is on mercy of God. Bad rush, avoid until corona subsides. You complete your Darshan within 2 hours.

At a distance of 26 km from Vani and 65 km from Nashik, Saptashrungi Devi Mandir is a Hindu temple situated near Nanduri village. The temple lies atop the cliff with an altitude of 1,230 m. From that place one has to climb only 510 steps to reach the shrine, which only takes about 45 minutes. There is also a trolley system for those who are not able to climb the steps. Timings: 5 AM to 7 PM. To reach the top of the temple, one needs to take 510 steps or a ropeway which takes around 2 minutes and costs INR 90 for adults and INR 45 for children.

Strictly taking about the temple, the shrine is located at a loft on the hill surface. The goddess idol is carved over hill walls. The idol is huge so you can have a beautiful glance. The place offers good vibes. But but, The arrangements are insufficient with respect to barricades that guide visitors towards the statue. STRICTLY SINGLE person barricading is required from all sides. Else stampede can happen anytime. If visitor flow is smooth, things are normal, but if its crowded, the Junction area where trolley visitors merge with people from stairs, can choke people to death. DIRECT TICKET to HEAVEN.

It is a Hindu religious place located behind Nasik, Maharashtra State, India. This temple is located within a mountain. You can use steps or the Ropeway facility is available. You have to pay ₹110/- for both up and down means with return. One sided only ₹55/-. You have to remove your shoes, chappal etc before. It takes only a few minutes to reach the temple through the rope way.

It's one of the Shakti pith. It's crowded on Tuesday and during Navratri. Plz do parking at the place near to Ropeway office where big Shiva Statue is there. then head towards ropeway tkt counter for tickets. Refer photos for tkt rates. You can go by steps as well. Post temple visit, plz go to other side of shitkhada also which people generally don't go to.

Divine temple, must visit. Car can go up until the rope way and normal stair cases for the temple. I would suggest to go after rainy season here. Rope way costs 100 rupees per person. It takes 2-3 to go and come back using rope way even if its too crody. Rope way management is pretty well. In chaitra month there is Jatra at Saptashrungi Gad, hence car needs to be park below the gad and ST bus need to hired for going up.

Visited this place after lockdown. It was so peaceful and amazing up there. Could sit and meditate for few minutes and it is wonderful place. You could use the traditional stairs and go up or use the new vertical lift which is a government initiative and way crowded during regular period, as I visited this place after lockdown we didn't have to wait at all and it was all instant service(yeah we use the lift service as every time we used the stairs). Government parking space is available! Don't get fooled by the local people around there who are just making money out of your illiteracy of the place. You can get a pass at the mall which is government run but also dominated by the locals.

Saptashrungi Devi Mata Temple is an one of the Shaktipeeth, which is world wide famous. Lots of myths are associated with it. It is situated at mid of peak, addition to two working staircases now a ropeway is also built to take passengers above and bring down. Facilities at ropeway stations are similar to Airport, where you can purchase the Pooja sahitya, can also have your breakfast. Well maintained and Proper queue management is done.

Ropeway has been started which is a good service for people who cannot climb. Lots of monkeys up in the premises of temple which cause a lot of chaos
