Good Food with Nice Ambience!! Must try for veg foodies - Famous for their "Thalipith" and "Puran Poli".

Great place for authentic maharashtrian food. Ordered Misal and sada dosa. Misal was very flavorful. I was worried it would be too spicy for me but it was perfectly spiced. You can make it more spicy with the curry they give on the side. The service was quick and the staff was very polite and attentive.

Visited this place on 12th june 2023. We had ordered puri aam ras, pav bhaji and thalipeeth. Every item is very tasty, ambience is good, service was good. Nice homely atmosphere. Definately must visit if one is looking for pocket friendly nice maharashtrian food.

This is new Modern Cafe - after old one is closed out in Nashik. I hope this will continue same legacy as before - looking forward. Will review again after visit Recommended always

Loved Thalipeeth, alu wadi, kothimbir wadi. Ginger tea didn't have any ginger in it and was tasting bitter so didn't drink it. Puri Bhaji was average, not recommended. Fresh besan ladoo was delicious and coffee too was good, not too sweet. Overall, a decent place.. will visit again.

In my recent trip to Nashik I found this place. Highly recommended for authentic marathi veg food. Many dishes which you won't get anywhere...😊👍 If you are in Nashik visit this place without fail. Even the owner is very welcoming.

Contemporary restaurant for good food and ambiance. Their food is light on stomach and pellet. I like that they do not overdo anything. Misal is milder and has taste. Kadhi wada is much tastier and one is not enough for and adult. Quantity is less than usual. Sabudana khichdi is best. Mild in chilli and well cooked. Location is good. Food is served within time. Dosa is okay. Coconut chutney has taste and does not have much water in it. One can savour the coconut milk in it. Idli does not last forever so one must visit them before 10am to enjoy it. Medu wada was crsipy. Overall, it is my go to place when I have some important people or closed one to host for breakfast. Must try at least once!

I went to Modern Cafe Nashik with my family and we enjoyed their authentic and delicious food. The hotel was recently shifted from Gangapur Road to this location, which is more spacious and convenient. We tried their thaliphit and chole bhature, which were both tasty and satisfying. The only downside was that the staff and the cleaning were not upto the mark. They seemed to be still working like their old location, which was smaller and crowded. They need to improve their service and hygiene to match their new standards. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Maharashtrian cuisine.

We were skeptical at first but the service and food overwhelmed us. Om, the manager did an exceptional job with making (infact forcing) us to try thalipeeth and other traditional dishes which we wouldn't have otherwise ordered. Great experience. Tasty and healthy food. Must visit when in Nashik.

Just visited today at 1440 They didn't had anything to offer. Only Sandwich & Dosas & Uttappa. Service is chaotic. No one has a clue whats available in menu. I asked something cold to drink they didn't have anything apart from water. No Solkadhi, no Kokan, no taak, nothing. Sad place to visit. No coordination amongst the staff. Earlier Modern Cafe was way better than this chotic mess.

So, the food was good. The menu did have a lot of stereotypical Punjabi food on it, but there were a lot of options to choose from. The portion size was pretty manageable. I could finish my whole order. Note: unfortunately, in this restaurant, there is no in between. It's either to spicy or too sweet. The service was decent. The waiters weren't very interactive, but we had no trouble placing our order. The interior was horrible. From the outside, this place looks awesome. But on the inside, it's a whole other story. Firstly, this may not bother everyone, but the color combination of the walls was bad. Also, the lighting was very unwelcoming, and just sitting in those horrible orange chairs made me feel greasy. Other than that, everything was pretty good.

Modern Cafe Nashik on Gangapur Road, is a simple looking cosy eating place. No pomp and show, clean and welcoming place. It's a family place and serves traditionally authentic. Maharashtrian food.. I simply loved the soul curry ( a refreshing starter drink), thalipeeth, bajra roti, sev sabzi, modak and so many otherocal recipes.

We all family just loved the food. Thalipith -loni reminds me my mother and granny. Bhakri, usal , zunka our all time favorite. Masala taak is awesome. Typical marathi dish Satori is just superb. My 2 yr daughter to mother in law all are having there favorites. Ten on Ten for Modern cafe.

You can eat traditional meal here. Make sure that you don't miss the 'Sol-kadhi'.
