Nice Place for the misal in Nashik. Best atmosphere.

Its a old fashioned but nice snacks point at banks of the Godavari... One may relax n enjoy the river view... Must Try - Misal Pav, Shev Rassa, Batata Vada and special Batata Bhajji !!!

Very old Tea house located on banks of river Godavari.Good taste of misal had that spicy puclnch spice level can be adjusted by adding tarri. Very good atmosphere at morning later people start spoiling the vibe by washing clothes on bank.Old humble eatery billing is still done on stone plate.Dont expect very lavish ambience but look for vintage vibes. Also must try bhajji very tasty.

It is a small restaurant situated at the banks of the river Godavari. Ambience wise the view from the restaurant was great. We ordered misal pav and kanda bhaji. Misal was served with papad and curd. You can ask for more shev and rassa as those are given without any extra charges. Taste wise, misal was okay, but I liked the kanda bhaje more, though they were served cold but the taste was delicious. Do visit the hotel for their ambience.

Supposed to be origin of Misal in Nashik. Location by side of Godavari river but if only the water could be a bit cleaner! People washing clothes and taking bath ruin the view. Hotel is old and their hygiene concepts are also outdated. Especially when you compare with modern outlets like Peruchi Wadi and Grape Embassy which provide a much more complete experience. Having said that, Misal is definitely tasty. Flavourful but not over spicy, great balance of spice and crunchy shev, you realise why it became so popular then. Crispy hot onion and potato bhaji add to the deliciousness. Budha Halwai is just 200m away so you can have sweet Jalebis to counter spice afterwards. If only they improve the ambience and hygiene without losing rustic charm, it would be a great little place.

Went there in morning. Ordered Missal Pav, Dahi, Papad. Costed around 80. Took some 5 minutes to arrive. Missal was tasty. One difference was that while most places use red chilli powder, it was cut green chilli used here. Dahi was sweet and tasty. Papad was crunchy and perfect. Pav were served as it is, without heating or spiced up. This may be subjective. Ordered Kanda Bhaji(Onion fritters). The best kanda bhaji I've ever eaten. Perfectly fried and absolutely delicious. Would definitely visit again. The riverside ambience combined with missal completely uplifts the experience for you. Going here early in the morning is suggested.

Great Misal-Pav, the favorite breakfast of North Maharashtra, and alu-onion-chilli pakodas served piping hot! Very satisfying early morning meal. Add to that some local savory items & crisp, hot jalebis! Happiness guaranteed... 👌👌👌👍

This is a decent place for some tea near Ganga ghat at Nashik.the misal is super hot and spicy garnished with typical maharashtrian namkeen. The accompanying pao is soft and literally melts with the gravy.

Misal is not as delicious as it used to be.. Bhaji is good, and tea is good.
