OMG, this scenic overlook is SO worth the drive. It is one of the most gorgeous vistas in NW Iowa. You look over a breath taking Mississippi River valley. And you can see for miles. And 400 feet below, in the lush green pastures, cows are grazing. This place is why you take the back roads, though the small towns.

Had a really cool phone stand for picture taking, genuinely a beautiful place. The humidity was just right that it changed the visibility enough to make the scene look like a painted background in a western film. As seen in the photo it was very windy whi h I get the feeling doesn't change much there

Located on the Great River Road just north of the little town of Balltown, Iowa, this overlook offers massive views across Iowa farmland to the Wisconsin bluffs across the Mississippi. There are no facilities but ample parking. There are public restrooms at a park shelter in town. Great for sunrise!

This is the second time we have stopped at this location near Balltown, Iowa. Just beautiful‼️. One thing. The concert road has done what concert roads do, get bumpy.

Very picturesque. A stone's throw from Breitbachs country dining. This is a must visit and experience!

The view from here over the Mississippi River valley is spectacular. Definitely make sure you stop & enjoy the scenery.
