Bloomin' Shrimp were great, along with the Bloomin' Onion. Both a great value for the amount you get. $3.25 for a flat Coke, so make sure you drink plenty of it to get your money's worth, or request it be taken off your bill when you first try it and see how bad it is. Ribs are decent for a "plain-style" of rib choice. Nothing like a traditional BBQ type that you would usually expect, even with the BBQ sauce they serve with it. I say "decent" just because they were edible, but in all honesty I would not ever order them again and I suggest you don't waste your money on them here. If you want ribs, go to a a place known for their ribs. Rice was fair. I like "Mexican" style rice, so this review may be a little bias, as it was a little to bland for my liking. Mashed potatoes were really good. Service was great. 2 appetizers and 3 meals for 3 people with no alcoholic drinks and no desserts, came to a total of $120. In my opinion it was over priced, but my meal selection could have been better, and the service was good, so I will definitely be back to try it again sometime, maybe not as soon as I would have expected.

Update: Manager reached out and offered to send some gift certificates so we'd come back. They never came so I reached out again. Again they never came. He acknowledged that the food is not as good as the Ankeny location and that they were working on it. So obviously we will never go back to that location as this is not the first time we had bad service but we always wanted to give them a second chance. No third chances now. There's something wrong with this location. Always have great food and service in Ankeny, but we've tried this location 3 times and we're done trying. We got the bloomin shrimp as our main, and they were bad! They were overcooked, cooked in very old oil or the wrong batter was used not to mention super salty. Idk what but even the waitress said they didn't look right. My husband got a pecan salad and the lettuce was brown. The waitress went and spoke to the manager, who never even came over, and we got 50% off. We just wanted to pay, leave, and never come back. Kind of ruined our love for Outback for a while. Go to Ankeny!

The food and service was great! Also the manager had a stellar attitude. If I wasn't a customer I would want to be an employee. O would recommend going to this restaurant I'm pretty sure you're going to revisit here. The prices are fair and there are multiple things to choose from. Have fun!

My fillet mignon was very good as was the salad and loaded potatoe. My wife had grilled salmon and was very good also. Service could have more attentive and personable.

It was okay. It's definitely not worth $70 for two people. The bread was probably the best part. Our server only took our order, and two other people brought our food. Had to ask someone to clear the table because no one else seemed to care. And it wasn't busy by any means. Had the bloomin onion, baked potato soup, and the bloomin fried chicken. The onion had kind of an old grease taste. The soup was watery, and the chicken was pretty dry and just not flavorful. All in all, it was food but not great food

We decided last minute to eat here last night. We were quoted 25 minutes wait, which we thought was reasonable for Saturday night so we waited. We were sat in the bar within 15 minutes and John was our server. He was great! He is very personable and prompt. Service is big part of going out to eat for us as well as the food! He fully delivers! All was excellent, I highly recommend the blackberry lavender lemonade it was amazing! The aussie fries were very good as well!

Very disappointing..the food was as expected aside from the "steamed" vegetables, kind of comical actually. However, the service was laughable in the beginning but took a hard turn to pathetic. I paid my $100 bill and then asked to speak with the manager, I did so away from any customers, as close to the door as possible, and spoke softly to not make a scene. Not only did I not receive an apology, but was given a blank, smirk/smile as I explained myself. Explains 6 tables of guests and a couple seated at the bar. I wish I would have spent $100 at McDonald's to be honest.. Its a shame that you have the gull to keep your doors open if that's the people you employ.. I'd be happy to explain our experience if one of you actually care how your business is being ran.. your managers and wait staff obviously don't. I look forward to hear that you're out of business when the time comes, because at this rate, it's inevitable.

This location is usually good, but they must be undergoing some changes. I witnessed several people complaining to management about their food/service. My server tried to tell me that what I had was a 16 oz prime rib. I didn't have the energy to argue or speak to a manager. I've got deli meat that's thicker in my fridge. Okay, just to prove a point I have added a 15-16oz ribeye, purchased at Walmart for $12, cooked to medium rare by myself in the comfort of my own home. Thank you, Outback, for reminding me to eat at home. I go out on Fridays because I've usually worked a min. of 50 hrs. M-F. Still, I tipped over 15% for a mediocre meal and service.

Service was great and food was well seasoned. 2/3 steaks were cooked perfectly! They did a good job with those. But the most expensive one, the bone in rib-eye, was order medium rare and served medium well (in other areas, it was even well done). And the bone was taken out of the cut. Still, the seasoning was tasty and the other steaks were good. Sides were normal. Potatoes and salads for included options for us. 3 star - Average. Decent to visit once

Our food was correct, delicious and hot! This is the first time we have been to this Outback. Service was great! Presentation on point! Truly a pleasant surprise from the last Outback we went to (in Oklahoma 👎🏽). Would definitely recommend and return!

Adding secret upcharges without telling the customer? Wow! The server asked me what two sides I'd like with my meal, so I asked about soups and she listed them off without indicating there was any sort of upcharge. Then, she asked me if I wanted any sauces on the side with my steak, and suggested the garlic one without telling me there was an upcharge as well. I dabbed one piece and didn't even like it and left the container almost full! I cannot recommend eating at a restaurant that tries to sneak charges in to bills. Imagine a party of 4 in this situation, the bill could easily increase by $20!!!

The food was great and so was the service! Our waitress, Amelia, was extremely nice and knowledgeable. She checked back with us several times to see if we needed anything and to make sure everything tasted good. The food was fast and delicious!

The food tasted great! I recommend the mashed potatoes and rice! The flavor has a really good kick to it! And you can’t go wrong with the ordinary Outback sirloin, though, I wouldn’t say ordinary, as it is the best steak I ever ate in an affordable atmosphere! The staff is very friendly and cheery! The person that served me does not have a mean bone in them at all! I’m excited to go back again soon!

Came in tonight (Saturday 4-2) to have dinner with a friend. My absolute go-tos for steak and shrimp are either Texas Roadhouse or Outback… any other time everything is amazing, but some how things were just off tonight… there was a hair on the appetizer, denim material on my food when it came out… I usually get the sirloin and shrimp, the shrimp was absolutely cold, and the steak I had asked for medium rare came back as rare. The waitress was polite, and I realize that it was busy, but I think it’s going to be a while before I come back and visit.

Great service, our waiter “Jon” was excellent and a very witty guy. He anticipated our every need and made all 10 of us laugh and making us feel special! We will be back, and will definitely ask to be seated in Jon’s area. Oh, I need to add the food was excellent too. Yeah Baby.

The food is decent. Servers are nice and friendly. But the Boomarita cocktail is a must try: It has the flavors of mango, blackberry, watermelon and a house margarita. Blackberry flavor is esp cool. They steaks are pretty good if you’re a steak lover.
