Wonderful food! Definitely will be a routine customer now! Been searching for good Indian food, and finally found it!! Could use just a tad bit more flavor, but excellent! The portions are enough for two people to eat off depending on your appetite

Edit: went back for a second try and the food was amazing. Samosa , lassi, biryani, garlic naan and butter chicken were all exceptional. Not sure if Indian food leaves spices whole but I did bite into a unpleasant whole cardamom seed. Still give it 5 stars. Was seated and then not spoke to once in 15 minutes of waiting, no drinks or menus. Table beside us got their entire order wrong but the place smelled amazing. I’ll give it another try in a few weeks when they work the kinks out!

Was very excited to try this out since there are very few indian restaurants which serve good dishes . The ambience was good . Spacious and clean. Ordered starters , the Chicken didn't feel fresh as it should for the chilli chicken and the malai chicken was way dry . The butter chicken was really good and the chicken was fortunately much fresh than starters. The Goat curry was good too and also the meat . Overall an OK first time experience , we will head back to try a few more dishes before we can make up our minds.

We heard about this restaurant through friends and we are glad we did! This will be a new favorite of ours for the Chattanooga area.. the flavors were intense and divinely balanced! The service was also great! We recommend the kadai dishes as well as the mushroom mutter 🔥🔥🔥

The place is clean it just looks like that had a lower budget. Just know it's more of a family owned appearance. I am still learning what Indian food taste like. My dishes did have a lot of flavor and fresh. I enjoyed every thing but the Samosa appetizer but that's bc I don't know what it's supposed to taste like. Maybe a sauce should be served with it for me to really enjoy it. Fresh and flavorful and a fair price. If you are thinking about going give it a try.

We went here for lunch. We usually go to buffets, but Apna got high ratings, so we gave it a try. We were greeted nicely going in and shown to a table. The service was very good. Although the waiter did not understand gluten free(so please no naan, but they tried to serve it to us anyway) and when ordering the mixed pakora, I asked if there were any peppers and was told no. Unfortunately one of the items was a stuffed pepper. The waitress was super concerned, offered to get something else, but I just said it was fine, just please let the other waiter know. We also got the chicken 65, vegetables korma and veggie briyani. They were all delicious and very flavorful. The masala tea was one of the best I've had in a while. Nice music videos were playing and nicely decorated. Plenty of parking. I felt that the prices were a little high $60 +tax and tip. We have enough leftovers for another meal. All in all it was a great lunch, just please if you have allergies etc make sure the waiter understands.

The waiters were polite. We were offered complimentary papad with mint and tamarind chutney which was good to get started with because we went in hungry after the whitewater rafting. But they need to be trained. We weren’t even given dinner plates to eat and the beverages ordered never arrived. Made a mistake in the bill. The ambiance was ok. I have mixed reviews for the food. Everything was served hot and fresh on a Sunday afternoon. Their egg fried rice was delicious and Keema samosa tasted good and I recommend these two. Chicken 65 tasted all fine but was hard and chewy. The ketchup was dominating in the chili chicken and that’s a thumbs down.

Apna’s Kitchen is one of East Ridge’s newest additions. If you’re hesitant to try Indian food, this is a great place to dive into a new cuisine for your palette. The staff will give recommendations on whatever you’re feeling. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is welcoming. Definitely give this local eatery a try!

Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly. I ordered the Chicken Saagwala and a mango lassi. The lassi was definitely refreshing and not overly sweet. The saagwala had great flavor and portion size was generous. Overall great experience and quite possibly the best Indian food in Chattanooga.

WORST INDIAN FOOD EVER!!!! Not sure how this place has 4.8 stars on google. Probably the owner has self reviewed this place. We stopped by this restaurant on our way to OHIO considering this place had good 4.8 star reviews. But to our disappointment the food was terrible. Panner Butter Masala was just water and the Dal Tadka was also just water and pepper added to it!! Terrible service and the food quality of Naan and other things we ordered was average. Do not recommend this place to any one. Yes - I am an Indian and I know what I am talking about and I know what Indian food tastes like: this restaurant has nothing great in it. PLEASE AVOID!!

I am so glad to find this place. Most Indian restaurants are closed from 2pm to 5pm, but this one! The atmosphere is very pleasant and their food is very tasty. I enjoyed the service. Price is fair and I am definitely going back!

Highly highly recommend. Driving through Chattanooga on a long road trip and my wife says “I want Indian food”. Found this place as highly rated and put in a to-go order. The person whom I assume was the owner or at the very least was management was one of the friendliest people I’ve met. Atmosphere was awesome with Indian music playing. In top of all that, the food was phenomenal. Highly recommend. Will eat here again when in town.

We went here by accident, we were looking for Bosnian food, but instead they have closed and we love Indian food so, we went in. The service and food was very good. When you see a lot of local Indian people eating there, you know the food is authentic. Now, if you are a mild to no spicy person, make sure to let them know, 🤣 the food was so good but spicy, my palate was numb. *sorry forgot to take pics! But it was full bowl (Lamb Biryani) Very delicious. And my husband tried the goat korma for the 1st time. Also good. The dessert is called Gulab Jamun. So good, after eating so much😜

I came here as I was looking for a good indian restaurant while I was passing through Chattanooga. This restaurant is really a good one as mentioned in the other reviews. They use less spice in items compared to other restaurants as they are north Indian restaurant. The staff was very nice so I will definitely come here again if I happened to go to Chattanooga. Below are the items I ordered and their ratings Tandoori Chicken - 10/10, comes as sizzler, Chicken Pakora - 9/10 Lamb Chops - 8/10, Desi Chicken Boneless Curry - 10/10, Chilli Garlic Naan - 9/10

So…back story. I moved to east ridge 3 months ago and haven’t had Indian food since I left East Tennessee. Fast forward to today, it’s Diwali and want to celebrate my coworkers even though they are over seas. Yall…let me start with the service. My server Aryan was so polite and kind. I wanted wine but they only had Indian beer. I tried his suggestion and it was fantastic. New paragraph for the food. That garlic naan was the best I have ever had in my life. The butter chicken and rice were equally as good. Will definitely be back.
