Saturday night tour with our guide Courtney. She was an outstanding storyteller. We walked the downtown area stopping at various buildings for a short ghost story. Very entertaining tour, based on Franklin history. There were about 25 people in the tour group and Courtney was able to project her voice so everyone could easily hear. We had a snag with our booking, but the customer service was top notch and they made work.

So much more than I expected! I’ve lived here for five years and kept hearing this was a great tour. I’m so glad I finally did it and will definitely go again. I learned so much about the history of Franklin and can see why this area is so ‘unsettled’. Our guide, Joe, was funny and very engaging. He shared personal experiences and those of people he knows in the community that have had other similar, unexplainable experiences. He has surveillance videos from the downtown stores showing incidents in the middle of the night. Now I know why they all close up before dark! Great time and I will definitely go on the tour again. I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur of ghost tours. I travel often, and it is usually based around my love for the paranormal, so a ghost tour is always high and early on my list in each new stop. Franklin on Foot, and Joe, is one of, if not the best tours I have been on. His passion and knowledge is infectious. The content is a perfect balance of history, crime stories, and ghostly tales. The homes/businesses highlighted are beautifully eerie. And we lucked out with a great group of other guests (not always the case on these tours)! I thoroughly enjoyed it, highly recommend it, and would definitely go again!

As someone who has been on quite a few haunted tours and ghost tours around the US, our tour guide Joe was one of the best guides I've ever had. Joe had great pacing to the stories, was knowledgeable about the town, and there was a very pleasant combo of both haunted history and documented history of the town, which made me feel like I left with both a good understanding of the historical significance of Franklin and also had fun. This tour is great for both fans of the supernatural and the casual history buff.

My sister and I were in town for a little vacation away. Thought we try something different from downtown Nashville scene. So I didn’t know what to expect however what we got was an amazing experience. Courtney was our guide/storyteller had my attention the whole time she was great. If you’re looking for something to do, this is a must! I HIGHLY recommend

Joe was a fabulous ghost tour guide! My family often goes on ghost tours when we travel but this tour really stood out because of Joe’s personal connections to the locations he told stories about, and the surprise stops he took us to. We even got to pop inside one storefront! His energy was great, he’s a talented storyteller, and our entire group (10+ people) had an amazing time! Thank you Joe and Franklin on Foot!

We've been on many ghost tours in various cities. This one was one of the best with Joe as our guide. He was energetic, engaging, and well-informed regarding Franklin's historical and supernatural past. The whole family enjoyed his stories! Highly recommend!

I planned a corporate team engagement event with Joe and Franklin on Foot. We did a Food Tour, and Joe incorporated History and a few spooky stories along the way. We had over 20 people on the tour and Joe was able to coordinate with several local restaurants. Everyone LOVED the tour - all of the food we had was wonderful, and Joe was an amazing story teller. I would absolutely recommend booking a tour with Joe!

Fantastic! My first ghost walk, and it was so good! Our tour guide was Joe. He really made it memorable with his enthusiasm and eerie pics he share on his tablet. My favorite part was the store he takes us into at the beginning - cool store but creepy at night. I can’t wait to come again with my daughter who is into this kinda stuff. 👻

My husband and I recently took the Haunted Franklin tour with Joe and it was so fun!! We are Franklin locals and have been wanting to do the tour for a while, so we thought October was the perfect time for a little spookiness. Joe made the tour so much fun and knew so much about Franklin history. My husband had read the Ghosts of Franklin book so we expected a lot of the stories to be the same, but we were so wrong! Joe took us to a lot of unexpected places and most of them had recent spooky activity. This tour is perfect for locals and those visiting Franklin. I can't recommend Joe and the Haunted Franklin tour enough! My husband and I can't wait to go on the other tours offered!

We book a ghost tour on every vacation we’ve been on, and this one was by far the best! Our ghost tour in Boston, Massachusetts was our favorite for years, but tonight this tour topped that one! From our animated, welcoming, and knowledgeable tour guide, Joe, to the charming and historically-rich town of Franklin, to the abundance of videos and pictures Joe showed us. 5 minutes into our tour my fiancé and I looked at each other and said “this tour is the best one yet!” If you’re staying in Franklin or Nashville, this tour is a must!!!! 10/10 recommend!

Joe was the best of the best! Sweet, caring, and funny personality! Loves to get to know everyone! I haven’t been on a ghost tour since late 2020-2021 in Gettysburg. Joe was very informative on the history of every place and told a bunch of his and his friends paranormal experiences.

Took TWO tours in one day, the Classic Franklin and Ghost Tour. What a great experience, and Joe was very informative!

We took the ghost tour. Joe was awesome, very animated, threw it stories that he experienced himself. We took a few pictures, when we got back to the room, we noticed something in a few windows of them. Definitely recommend taking this tour if you are interested in the paranormal.

My girlfriend and I were in town for a few days and decided to join the ghost tour led by Joe on Saturday March 19. We had a really great time exploring the town and learned a lot of interesting facts both about general history of Franklin and plenty of spooky local stories as well. It was a really unique and fun way to spend the evening and I highly recommend taking a tour if you're in town! Joe was super charismatic, kind, and very entertaining. Well worth the money and time!
