I usually don’t leave reviews but this place is horrible. I was so excited to join and get started on my first class and the morning of my first class I woke up sick and was not able to attend so I was charged a fee for not being able to attend. They are literally just out to get your money. They do not care about the customer at all. If they tell you something at sign up don’t believe it. Avoid this place!

The Brentwood Mayweather Boxing gym is an excellent place to train your endurance. The staff is excellent and always happy to help. It’s easy to schedule classes or cancel using the Mayweather app. I have been going for a few months four to five days a week and can really feel the difference.

THIS GYM IS THE BOMB I just moved to Nashville a couple months ago and have been craving a fun way to get active and potentially to meet people - this gym is it! Management and staff were so welcoming and even though I have little to no boxing experience, they made me feel like a champ and were super upbeat and encouraging! The atmosphere was energetic and clean. I’m excited to befriend these boxers and dive into this exciting new realm. 🥊

By far the best gym I’ve been to since I moved here. The coaches give a great workout, the front desk staff has exceptional customer service. Everyone there cares about me and helping me reach my goals!

I’ve been going to Mayweather for almost a year now. One of my favorite things about the gym are the trainers. They truly go above and beyond to know their clients, and care. I’m thankful for the community and friendships I have built and made at Mayweather while getting a great workout. If you need personal training, they also have great personal trainers that will pay attention to your individual needs and goals. I always leave the gym feeling encouraged and my best. 🙌🙌

My husband and I signed up the first day Mayweather Boxing+Fitness offered memberships and have been blown away ever since. The facility is new, incredibly clean, and the staff is conscientiously Covid-compliant. The trainers and management are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I've enjoyed every class and have learned a lot about boxing. I've brought in several friends who ended up joining as well. I highly recommend Mayweather.

If I could give Javier, the manager, at Mayweather Boxing a 0 I would. I found out I was pregnant 3 weeks into my month to month membership and quickly started experiencing side effects that my doctors recommended I cease boxing immediately. I contacted Mayweather and explained my situation. The 2 staff members I spoke to were understanding of my circumstances, but Javier was more concerned with charging me a monthly membership fee even though I explained to him I could not use the facilities due to a MEDICAL condition. Javier then took it upon himself to give me medical advice, suggesting I ignore my 2 doctors! I offered to pay the pause fee, but Javier would not allow that either! I requested cancellation the day before my membership renewed, but Javier refused to sign the Docusign, claiming my month to month contract is still valid until HE deems to release me from it. My credit card was attempted to be charged for a second month!! I emailed the owner, Lauren, 3 weeks ago and have not heard back. It is a shame that this is how Mayweather Brentwood treats members that otherwise had a positive experience. Lastly, Javier will encourage you to use the app and sign up for class ahead of time. This is only so that if you miss class, you’ll be charged $10. The classes were NEVER full and there is no need to “reserve” a spot. I regret not acknowledging this red flag from the beginning.

Definitely would recommend this to anyone. Briar and the staff are always so ready and willing to help. It’s a face paced workout so you’re gonna sweat a lot, but feel great afterwords. The place is always clean as well which is a big plus.

This is a great place and opportunity if I could give this place 25 to 1000 stars I would. The trainers and staff are great and they really care about you and training you the right way not only the staff but the people who workout in class with you help out as well I love it here. Fun while working out can't beat this.

When I first joined I explained my situation pretty well that I was only going to be there a month or 2. But it's been months and this people are like blood sucking leeches. So this was my ultimate pass experience. The gym isn't open all day, only certain times. It's more like an art class, you watch videos and have an instructor. For the money your paying you kinda expect a heart monitor maybe the gloves, not the wraps you know to borrow. Nah, expect to pay I think it was 5 dollars to rent the gloves. The heart monitor, I only got to try out ONCE. But they expect you to buy one. And not just any kind, it has to be there's ($80ish)I bought the wraps for memorial thing but other than that nothing's really provided unless you got cash. Trainers were great but if you 100% serious I would avoid gyms like these. Whenever I had a question about certain things it was answered with i don't knows. You will learn the basics but might as well find an open gym. My first month went well, I left during class during the second month during class. With the money you spend on the pass you can get yourself a cheap bag, some gloves, wraps and instruction video off Amazon. It did help the first month but when you overhear the two people in the front laughing and joking about how they'll never spend the money on the ultimate pass it makes you really wonder. The place is never busy so it's not worth to plan out days for your class. They'll charge you for not showing up and may not let you in if you are late. I was really hoping this would be the place but I really wished I never joined. Maybe its different at other places but it lost its magic after the first month. I left a good review hoping more would join and forgot about it. Now I hope to warn others, hopefully save yourself a headache go to an open boxing gym, some are only 50 dollars a month and they will let you borrow the equipment for free. You'll meet actually fighters, if possible stick to a good team if your planning on going pro. This is more like a planet fitness to a boxing gym. There is no sparring, the ring is to take pictures and for other trainers that have private lessons. I would ask for those private lessons or talk to those trainers but stay away from the pass. There was nothing ultimate about it.

Great place to workout on your fitness goals, coaches(Steven, Racheal and Briar) and staff are really friendly and motivational. I joined a little over 6months ago and haven’t been disappointed with a single class or workout at this place. I feel like I learned new skill along with fitness. Definitely recommend this place for any skill level you’re on.

I went to Mayweather to try something new, I had never boxed before and never taken any sort of fitness class. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming, they told us everything we were going to be doing and made sure we understood the workouts. The instructor was amazing and the people at the front desk were super nice. Everyone was incredibly inviting and the class was super fun! I would absolutely recommend, and will be coming here again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved this studio! The classes were fun, the employees were always extremely helpful and kind, and the overall atmosphere was exhilarating. I fell in love with boxing here. If I hadn’t moved away, I’d still be here. Shoutout to Mario, my guy!! thanks for always pushing me as an athlete and sprinkling some positivity and encouragement in there!

Intense workouts with motivating teachers. They stay engaged during class and push you to do your best. Love the mix of boxing and other training. You are in and out and can tell you got a great workout. Before it was sometimes hard to motivate myself. Now I really look forward to going to the gym. I would recommend to anyone that is serious about their health and getting in shape! 🥊🥊

My fiancé and I were looking for a challenge, after leaving a very unprofessional gym, we found Mayweather in Brentwood and our lives have been changed! We sweat harder than we have in a very long time, staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful and encouraging, facility is clean and neat, music is awesome, and it’s just all around good vibes. If you’re looking for a gym that will hold you accountable, and make working out fun and not just another chore, we 10/10 recommend Mayweather.

I've been a member at Mayweather since it opened about a year and a half ago. At first I was a little skeptical as someone who's only done the cheap $15 gyms before where you walk in and do your thing, but this has been absolutely life changing for my fitness journey. The class format and instructor provide motivation, the other members aren't crazy fit boxing experts that are going to make you feel inferior, and each workout burns a ton of calories without making you feel that much time has passed at all whereas something like a treadmill can make time slow down. Basically, this is the cardio for someone who hates cardio, plus I'm kind of waiting for a bully to come try and fight me so I can put the combos to the test. The reason I'm only now writing a review after over a year is because I just realized that all my underwear is too loose on the waist so I have to buy all new boxers; thanks a lot Mayweather! In all seriousness, that's a problem I'll take any day. Try it out!

Been going since their reopening in June. Great place, great community, and great atmosphere. The trainers are really nice, and the workouts are great for both beginners and veterans alike. A great example of this is that I played division 1 football, so I come from a workout background. I have been burning anywhere from 700-900 calories a workout session in a 45 minute time block, and been enjoying every second of it. My mother recently showed interest in working out, so I took her to a trial class, she loved it so much that she signed up that very same day. She has little workout experience, and has absolutely loved it as well. I think the best part is the flexibility and understanding of the staff. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to either get in or stay in shape! Also the studio is very nice well put together, and is never dirty. 10/10 would recommend!

Had my first lesson today, and it was great. You work hard, but they mix it up. It is not boring. It is great for both cardio and strength-training, but you do not have to bulk up. As a former athlete, this is exactly what I need without it being so overly rigorous that I injure my already compromised basketball knees. In my humble opinion, it is worth the money. I'm excited too lose weight and return to my optimal physical form.
