I
did
love
every
thing
about
this
place.
I’ve
been
a
here
for
almost
2
years
and
was
planning
on
signing
a
new
lease
here.
But
the
new
owners
don’t
seem
to
care
about
their
tenants,
and
that’s
not
something
I
can
tolerate.
I
did
receive
a
notice
that
they
would
begin
renovations
in
my
apartment,
however
these
renovations
should
only
be
a
“slight
inconvenience”.
When
workers
were
scheduled
to
begin
work,
they
showed
up
at
9am
and
let
themselves
in.
Said
nothing
to
us,
and
just
began
taking
everything
apart
and
then
taped
my
restrooms
and
kitchen
off,
making
everything
completely
inaccessible.
We
couldn’t
cook
or
even
use
our
restrooms!
Then
they
all
put
on
respirators
and
began
painting,
with
us
just
standing
right
next
to
them.
We
couldn’t
breathe,
we
became
dizzy
and
nauseous.
So
I
spoke
out
to
the
office,
who
informed
me
that
“we
were
given
a
notice”
as
if
that
would
fix
things,
and
it
was
“only
going
to
last
a
few
hours
and
they
would
be
finished”.
We
had
to
get
a
hotel
room
for
the
weekend
at
our
own
expense.
However
when
we
came
home
on
Monday,
they
came
back
and
started
painting
all
over
again.
I
went
back
to
the
office
and
was
told
“it
will
only
take
a
few
minutes
and
they
will
be
out
of
there”.
They
left
after
painting
and
came
back
AGAIN!
This
time
they
stayed
in
my
apartment
working
until
9pm
at
night!!
Although
the
notice
I
was
given
stated
they
would
never
work
past
5.
They
are
planning
to
remove
part
of
a
wall,
install
new
counter
tops,
ceiling
fans,
doors,
blinds,
sinks
and
who
knows
what
else,
while
we
are
still
occupying
the
unit.
After
that
our
rent
will
go
up,
along
with
other
changes.
All
these
“new
upgrades”
are
completely
unnecessary
and
cause
more
of
an
inconvenience
than
anything.
But
the
worst
part
of
it
is
knowing
that
I
will
not
be
compensated
for
the
money
I
have
had
to
spend
out
of
pocket,
just
to
be
able
to
sleep,
eat
and
shower
on
top
of
paying
rent.
And
the
fact
that
all
they
can
say
is
“We
gave
you
a
notice”
feels
more
like
a
slap
in
the
face
than
anything
else.
I
know
they
will
respond
to
this,
and
I
know
their
message
will
say
“we’re
sorry
for
the
inconvenience,
but
you
were
notified”
but
notifications
and
compensation
are
two
different
things,
and
I
have
a
family
depending
on
me.
Im
very
unhappy
about
this
and
I
wouldn’t
recommend
this
place
to
anyone
considering
moving
here.
