Do yourself a favor and go here!! We got the grilled tofu bahn mi (AMAZING!), Crab Rangoon (🤤🤤🤤🤤), and the veggie egg rolls to go. All were incredible! Forgot to take pics before we dug in. The service was impeccable, you feel like family you walk in and the food was so good. The bahn mi will feed me for a couple days and the crab rangoon was so flavorful you don’t even need sauce with it. Will definitely be coming back and can’t wait to try the pho next time.

I was exicited to hear about Ava and with all the wonderful reviews, was truly looking forward to trying the food. Not sure if it was a Sunday and I ordered take out but I was disappointed. Sorry Ava. My Saigon eggrolls were burnt. Everyone one of them . I couldn't believe they actually left the kitchen that way and was served to a customer. Would have happily waited for another batch. Although my first experience was a disappointment, I will give Ava another try ...maybe dine in the next time.

Ava's Bistro. New vietnamese place just opened at Kemah, League City area. Had Large Pho combination. I was shocked. The pho is huge. Food coma Alert!!! I finished the whole thing. Kinda regret it. But, it was good. Will come back to try the banh mi.

Had lunch at Ava's today, everything was delicious. We had chicken wings first, they were so good. Perfectly crispy and the spices were perfect, loved the curry especially. We added pork to the shrimp spring rolls and they were huge. The portions are definitely generous. We then had a Bahn mi with pork. It was very big and the meat was very tender and delicious again. We also had an order of the fried bananas, which we treated as a dessert. Well worth it to order these.The owners are very welcoming and stopped to talk to all the guests while we were there. We will be back very soon and highly recommend this place!

What a great surprise to find this restaurant! The banh mi grilled beef sandwich I got was delicious, fresh, and BIG. The pan fried dumplings and pho that my family ordered were also great! We’ll definitely come back when we’re down that way. :-)

Outstanding!! I ordered a pork Banh Mi and it was incredible! The French bread was perfect, crispy on the outside, light on the inside. Pork was tender and flavorful, veggies fresh and perfectly balanced. All in all, it was the best Banh Mi I’ve eaten in this area. (Oh yeah, it was huge! 😀)

I've had the banh mi. Although it's good, it's not really traditional, but it's good. It'd be nice if Ava's could add pork pate to it's banh mi. (Among the best banh mi I've had in Houston, imho, is at Alpha Bakery & Deli in Asiatown.) The bun dishes are good. My friends liked the rice dishes...especially the Rock-N-Roll Beef Tenderloin, which got rave reviews. However, when it comes to the pho...huge disappointment. Bland, overpriced, and among the worst I have ever had. That being said, I'll be going back, but not for the pho!

we ordered takeout from this place. given that it has 4.5 stars on Google, we had some expectations. but oh gosh... we had beef brisket pho, shrimp wrap and T-bone steak on fried rice.. non of them was good.. 1st of all: the beansprout and other garnishes in the pho should be packed separately not under the noodles (so it can be heat up with the soup, they are not meant to be eaten raw.......), 2nd the noodles were all sticked together even inseparable when putted in the soup (speaks to the freshness and quality of the noodle).. the beef brisket were so dry and very little (although we ordered a large.... was it 17$? for mostly noodles? I had no idea inflation went up so quick...???).. I won't bother commenting on the other two dishes... I made my point.. not going back. will try new pho restaurants..

finnalt a GREAT vietnamese resturant near! this is a small bistro vietnamese place. Fantastic rice HIGE Báhn. delicious Bún. friendly staff. all made fresh to order. only concern - don’t be in a hurry they cook each order fresh. well worth the wait!

Vietnamese food is my favorite and I am SO THANKFUL to have found this place! The best food I have tried in a long time. Their bahn mi us big enough for two people. All of the food is made with love and full of flavor! And fresh!

As a fellow viet, I'm quite selective on my restaurants. The food is excellent; fresh herbs, piping hot and the aroma is mouth watering. The portions are plenty, and I'm definitely not complaining about the full service bar. Plenty of tables and room, and wide variety of desserts.The owners are very kind and knowledgeable, and tailored my kids food request with ease. I usually drive towards Houston for my Asian restaurants, but I'm so happy to find a place closer to home! My whole family will be back for sure! *** and they have legit Sriracha!***

Delicious food! Fresh quality! Friendly folks! We tried this new place on a whim and will absolutely be back! Had the vermicelli with grilled chicken and it was amazing! Do yourself a favor and visit this sweet spot today! 🍚 🌾

Just gonna say the people Are nice. The food is not what I expected. Having been married into an Asian family, This was so disappointing. Starting with the crazy expensive Shrimp spring rolls. We ordered 4. It was 21.50!!! They weren’t rolls but squares and ripped and couldn’t even be picked up. Two halves of 1 shrimp were all that was inside with the noodles for 1 egg roll. This was ridiculous to see. I have never spent that on spring rolls ANYWHERE. The peanut sauce was liquid. So much liquid you could barely taste the peanuts. We ordered 2 pho dishes and pork fried rice. The only thing that was worth the money was the rice. Save your money and go somewhere else. Our total for takeout included a to go order fee as well. I just can’t get over the spring rolls. Ridiculous.

I had such a pleasant experience today at my lunch time here. The combination pho was so good and yummy! I will definitely come back to try out the rest of the menu.

Man this place is so good! Pho is a staple for my family and this is the best I’ve had In houston PERIOD! We had chicken fried rice as well as tofu spring rolls, chicken and brisket pho. The portions were huge and Everything was delicious! This place is the REAL DEAL! Must try!! The owners are amazing and super welcoming🙏
