Great little shop! When I found out I was going to El Dorado, I wanted to be sure to check this place out. Even shortly before closing the donuts were fresh and delicious. They were light and airy yet filling. The owners were friendly and they spoke to every customer like they were family. Great stop!

Best doughnuts in El Dorado, hands down. Look forward to going to El Dorado to visit family because I know somewhere during that stay will include spudnuts.

Will always love the spudnut shop. I grew up on them. Better than any crispy cream or duncan donut. I remember when 1 dozen was only a few dollar. Currently you can expect about 7.50 but they are worth every last penny

The Spudnut Shoppe has been around since before I was born and they are always great. They serve, Spudnuts. Unlike some reviews, I don't expect to buy the fancy version of a pig in a blanket. I know they serve, Spudnuts. It is on the sign. Never in 40 years have I attempted to buy anything else there. Some of these reviewers should stick to the big cities.

Best in town. Never would have eaten a potato 🥔 doughnut but tried it and man.... best doughnuts I've ever had! They could make some money on a chain of them!!!!

Let me tell you. It doesn't matter if you feel happy or sad. The donuts will taste the same - GOOD! My debit was not taken since order was less than $5.00 for three donuts. Lady rolled her eyes when I only had money to cover one donut

I went this morning at 7:45 am (after dropping my dog off at the vet) to get fresh hot Spudnuts. I asked for 3 plain and 1 Chocolate. When I got to my car to take a “hot” plain Spudnut out of bag to enjoy with my hot Coffee, to my surprise the plain donuts were stone cold!!! You would think that they would have been “hot”! This past Friday morning I had gone to town to do errands and stopped by The Spudnut Shoppe at 9 am and I bought 4 plain (& 2 chocolate that were barely warm but tasted very freshly made) Spudnuts that were HOT and remained hot while I was going through the car wash and still warm when I got home to Smackover. When I bought Spudnuts this past Friday at 9 am, The Spudnut Shoppe was still frying up fresh donuts while I was leaving (after receiving my HOT donuts! Why were the donuts not hot or even warm this Tuesday morning (today) at 7:45 am when this past Friday at 9 am they were HOT and the cook was frying up more but not this morning?! Does not make sense. Wondering if the donuts this morning were fresh? They did not taste fresh to me! Leftovers from yesterday?! The chocolate Spudnut I got Friday was fresh & tasted fresh even though it was barely warm but not stone cold. The chocolate Spudnut I got today was stone cold like the 3 plain ones and did not taste fresh at all. I got my money back for the 3 plain ones because I did not expect the Chocolate glazed to be hot (since the chocolate have would melted) but I did expect the plain ones to be fresh and just even warm but sadly they were not!!! Very disappointed! I can go to Shipley’s Donuts to get cold ones!

The spudnut shop is the best ever, always, they can never be underestimated by anyone. Everyone far and near knows about those spudnuts and even the small holes.

The best unique doughnuts I have ever experienced. Best hours are the morning hours. I prefer before 10 a.m.

My Dad grew up going to Spudnut and I grew up with the hot fresh goodness! This place has some of the best donuts in the country and I have had them all Over. None compare and to this day whenever I am in town I have to plan on a visit. Thank you for being so consistent for the past 50 years!!! I will bring my kids here too!! A family tradition!
