KOI provided an average hot pot experience. We went with two broth options, one being tomato based and the other was a kim chi broth. The menu had a variety of veggies, meats, and seafood options which we were all pleased to have so much variety. A standout off the menu I'd recommend was the shrimp paste, which puffed up into delicious shrimp balls after bouncing around in the hot broth for a little while. Beyond the shrimp paste, you'll find most hot pot staples on the menu. As I mentioned, KOI was an overall average experience. The broth was good, menu items to add to the hot pot were good, and the restaurant decor / vibe was ok. I wouldn't go out of my way and recommend KOI for hot pot, but I'd also be fine returning at a different point in time.

After experiencing Koi restaurant, I am not very pleased with the price 😕 Nobody told us that the sauce have to pay for $2. The veggies don't include it, I had to order whichever favorite veggies and pay the additional cost on each $6 for so little veggies. Each broth is $8 and we tried 2 broths Kim Chi and Tomato broth. Sum up, everything is extra extra monies. No, i would not recommend to eat there. I left 3 stars for clean place and the meat or veggies was ok fresh.

I noticed that all of the low reviews I read mentioned the price. That’s just silly. They have a menu with prices, do your math in advance if price is an issue for you. Other people will just see the adequate rating and assume the food or experience is not great, and that isn’t fair.

T Red line can directly lead you there. Broth is good, food is fresh, service is awesome! They arranged the tables and plastic curtains very considerately and make every table sort of private and away from others, feeling safe. And we end up taking all the remaining food and broth to go!

It’s now my favorite hot pot place in Quincy. Very clean restaurant with great and friendly service. The food was prepared very fast and everything was tasty! Loved kimchi broth and beef tongue.

Best hot pot around with great variety, in sauce, broth, and meat at excellent prices. I drive almost an hour in traffic to get here and happily hum the whole time.

Their online ordering works great, and the food is almost always just being finished as I arrive.

There is something about mushroom hotpot that takes angus steak to a different level. Great selection of high quality Chinese food and mixed drinks. Cozy place with tables completely surrounded by floor to ceiling clear vinyl. They now have a sushi counter too.

Amazing tradition Chinese Sichuan hotpot. Great service but a little overprice. As a Chinese guy, I love to come visit this place all the way from upstate ny twice a year. This place just perfect for real hotpot fan.
