😐 Skip the golf but definitely dine there. Just has a 5 hour and 10 minute round. No ranger in sight. Lots of carry and lots of blind shots. Course in good shape but pace of play is a bummer. Flip side the food and service at grazie is fantastic! People often mention wedding, Gina, beautiful, venue, time,

I'm not sure this is fair to grounds crew, maybe I should be reviewing every inconsiderate golfer that doesn't fix their ball marks or replace their divots. Very challenging layout with fairways littered with divots that haven't been replaced and greens covered with ball marks. The one issue I can blame the grounds crew on was the dreadful condition of the Tee boxes.

This review is based on 2 dozen rounds over a 7 year period. The bad: pace of play is horrific-likely due to continuous "path only" rule for carts, path only rule is due to course inability to handle drought or rain. Conditions are never better than fair. The good:

I will start off my review with this is a beautiful venue, and the food was incredible, the best wedding food I have ever had. But if you are thinking about having your wedding here make sure you hire your own wedding planner, or at least day of coordinator. When I had booked, I was working with a lady named Kendra, but by the time my wedding I was working with Gina because Kendra was no longer there. There was another coordinator in between but I had very little interaction with her (who Gina would blame for anything that went wrong.) No one ever took the time to tell me that the venue coordinators I was working with was no longer there. But if Gina was the venue coordinator when I booked, I would not have booked this venue. Gina takes a while to respond to your emails, and when she does, she clearly does not read them or look at your contract because a few times I had to correct her. I once sent an email she responded. I sent another a few days later with a completely different question and no response. I waited a week to follow up and she sent an extremely condescending email back, stating the day and time she responded and that her response must have gone to spam and answered the question from the previous email chain, not my current question. She never took payment 60 days out and when it was less than 2 weeks before my wedding, I had to ask her for the final bill, and I finally paid it 8 days before my wedding. The day before my rehearsal Gina called and said, “you know you are supposed to be here right now?” and I said no my rehearsal is tomorrow. She then went and looked at the calendar and realized I was right. During rehearsal she had a bit of attitude and told people to stand in the wrong spots, and then when my MOH corrected them, her response was “this cannot happen tomorrow.” Day of the wedding my husband was dropping off the centerpieces and he had to wait an hour before she finally came to grab them from him. While he was waiting the staff setting up said she is so lazy, it will be a while before she comes up. Before the ceremony my shuttle left the hotel late, which no big deal. But Gina lied and told me the shuttle had arrived, so we gave the okay to start the ceremony. When my bridal party was lined up ready to go, and I was off to the side I saw my shuttle pull up and all the guests get off. She almost started my ceremony without a good chunk of my guests. After the ceremony she gave no direction on where to have the guests go. Cocktail hour was supposed to be inside, but it somehow ended up outside. There were also supposed to be heaters out during the ceremony, but they were lined up against a wall and not on. For pictures there was no spot for us to take them. It was dark and cold, and an event in the other room. Gina came over to me and said “I don’t know if you were told there was a spot to take pictures but there’s not.” Be aware if you get married during the colder months and there is an event in the other room there is nowhere to take pictures. One of my bridesmaids had some words with Gina, and instead of going to anyone else in the bridal party she immediately brought it to me and my husband. Which was quite upsetting, she knew who my MOH was, and she could have gone over to her to ask her to talk to my bridesmaid. In the end once we sat for dinner, we never saw her again, or the other coordinator. They never came over asked how dinner was, or how everything was going. She never came to say goodbye and ask how everything went.

“Do you have any tee times around 6am tomorrow?” “No” “How about 8?” “No” -Josh, how about you wake up on the right side of the bed once.

Great and somewhat hidden course! Great crew keeps the course in tip top shape, even with the lack of rain this summer, greens arr immaculate! GPS carts provide you with shot distances and a great view of each hole, track your s ores and send you the scorecard electronically at the end of the round!

I just had my daughters bridal shower at Four Oaks. We had a fantastic experience! Everything was perfect, my daughter had the best day ever. Four Oaks is a beautiful place to have an event. From start to finish, Kendra and staff were very friendly and attentive. Kendra was alway quick to respond to any of my questions. We had a brunch and everyone raved about the food. I highly recommend Four Oaks for any event you might be planning! 🤗

Course was challenging, fantastic and the staff was great but unfortunately there is a pretty bad infestation around the 15th hole. Our foursome ran into Karen, her husband Richard and her son Kyle who had just walked on from the adjacent neighborhood to stall out our game and everyone behind us. They walked around for 10 minutes playing their game, after they were done they obviously walked back in the opposite direction of traffic. Karen had the gall the start throwing words at our team for driving around them in our approach. Pretty rude for someone actively stealing from the golf course. Random walk ons from the surrounding neighborhoods explain a lot of the delays people are reporting in other reviews.

Great course, quite tricky but fun and great pricing. 7/30/22 - still great course and very tough back 9, but if the course is gonna make it cart path only because a lack of water they need to discount carts, it is a large course and can't use the full ability of cart if you are stuck on the path. With the GPS tracking of distance and ect.

Desiree- thank you so much for taking the time to help me set up the wedding and answering all our questions. The venue looked absolutely beautiful last night and we couldn’t have done it without you guys. Even with the rain it still looked beautiful. Oh my goodness the food was fantastic the whole team outdid themselves! We enjoyed all the delicious food your team made just for our special day!

Ava is an amazing cart girl. I love her ambition for the course as a whole. She really respects the game and she served me as well as anyone. She made me feel at home.

Top notch, five star restaurant, with spectacular selections. Tremendous service, our server Jeff was very attentive and very informative, which is why this is our favorite restaurant.

Course is in good shape a little dry in some fairways. Playing with the raised cup drops at least 5 strokes.

Four Oaks was such an amazing venue for our wedding. People are still raving about the food, specifically the baked haddock. Iris made sure we were fed since the bride and groom are always running around (Thank you, Iris!) Desiree made everything go smoothly. You won’t be disappointed having your wedding here!

Four Oaks features a beautiful clubhouse and restaurant, friendly staff/surrounding neighbors and a challenging course with ample parking available. The only gripe I had was the tee boxes were a bit shabby looking and they were waterlogged so it was like teeing off in a marsh on certain holes. Other than that, I really enjoyed my first experience playing here and I will most definitely be returning in the future!

Underwhelmed. Played on a day when there had been a lot of rain the night before so tons of standing water and soggy conditions to say the least. Even tee boxes were spongy. Would love to play this course again in better conditions. Very nice course but I’ll call next time to make sure it is not cart path only.

Beautiful course overall. Fun and challenging holes. Carts are electric with the screens for hole previews, distances, and score tracking. Pace of play was a massive issue though. Completely backed up and took about 5 hours to play 18.

I was planning my wedding and read the reviews and thought this was a perfect place to have my reception! Throughout the whole process, I worked with at least 4 different coordinators - which it shouldn’t be, I would rather work with one. During the reception there was also a lot of miscommunication due to a last minute switch of coordinators. I was expecting Linda B. to be the one working with us - but we had to use a substitute because of another wedding happening at the same time. If you have multiple weddings in one day, at least inform the bride and groom before, not the day of the wedding. The coordinator that I was stuck with didn’t help me stick to the agenda, I had to tell my DJ of the schedule. We also had to run around asking the staff to refill our drinks. But, I have to stay the chef did an amazing job with the food, It was delicious! The atmosphere was beautiful.
