Sadly
I
had
a
nasty
experience
when
calling
customer
service
at
this
Nordstrom
Fashion
Centre
at
Pentagon
City
location
on
Dec
9.
Spoke
with
a
woman
named
“Tiffany”
to
ask
about
my
pickup
order
that
was
ordered
from
Nordstrom
Rack
online
for
pickup
in
the
Nordstrom
store.
My
order
had
been
in
the
“preparing
for
pickup”
stage
for
several
days,
so
I
contacted
Nordstrom
Rack
and
they
told
me
it
had
already
been
delivered
to
the
Nordstrom
store
5
days
ago.
When
I
called
Nordstrom
and
explained
what
was
happening
to
Tiffany,
she
was
immediately
agitated
and
aggressive,
saying
I
should
expect
delays
in
a
busy
holiday
season,
she
asked
me
if
I
was
even
going
to
pick
up
the
order
today
(it
was
30
minutes
until
closing,
so
her
comment
was
meant
to
be
snarky,
however
I
do
live
across
the
street),
then
asked
me
“have
you
ever
thought
about
calling
the
shipping
company”
(as
if
I
know
what
internal
shipper
Nordstrom
uses!),
then
she
asked
me
twice
“what
do
you
want
me
to
do
about
it”?
Is
this
woman
serious?
You
have
a
store-to-store
transfer
that
has
gone
missing
and
somehow
this
is
the
customer’s
problem
to
solve,
and
tell
the
employee
what
to
do??
I
told
her
I
would
expect
her
to
attempt
to
find
the
package
or
cancel
my
order
for
a
refund,
or
give
me
a
corporate
number
to
call
for
help.
She
then
said
“you
can
just
Google
the
corporate
number.”
I
couldn’t
believe
my
ears!!
A
manager
must
have
overheard
this
crazy
conversation
because
suddenly
she
had
a
change
of
tune,
said
her
manager
was
there
with
her
and
she
was
going
to
look
for
the
package.
She
asked
for
my
order
number
,
put
me
on
hold,
and
came
back
to
say
the
package
was
indeed
missing.
Her
manager
gave
her
the
corporate
number,
which
she
then
repeated
to
me,
and
said
I
could
call
it
for
the
refund.
What
an
awful
way
to
end
my
day.
I
have
worked
in
retail
for
decades
and
am
saddened
at
the
state
of
customer
service
these
days.
I’m
cancelling
my
Nordstrom
card
and
saying
good
riddance!
