    I've been to at least a dozen different Nordstroms in various states, and this is unfortunately the worst and lowest quality one I've ever shopped at. Hardly any inventory, extremely disorganized, hard to find staff, merchandise is not current, and displays are dirty and broken. Returns are easy, and staff is nice when you get hold of someone.

    Three floors of lovely things that are beautifully displayed. I'm not ever going to spend $500 on a purse, but this is a good place to shop for those who can and do. There's a personal stylist available, a shoe shine stand, a cafe. I have friends who shop here all the time and love it.

    What a dump! Nordstrom used to be known for its customer service. I tried to exchange a cosmetics item that was gifted to me for Christmas for another color, and it was such a horrible experience, I actually left my jacket at the counter because I was so upset. Nobody there noticed or bothered to come get me. The makeup "experts" lack rudimentary knowledge. There's a woman walking around wearing makeup like Daryl Hannah in Blade Runner, who has no idea what she's doing, except to advise customers to buy shades that are completely against their coloring and garish enough to make them look like drag queens. Then, when I was able to advocate enough for myself, it was nearly impossible to make the exchange. Three people worked on a simple gift exchange. They took off with my phone at one point and kept blowing me off in the middle of the process (which used to take just a couple of minutes at Nordstrom) to go help other customers. I had to keep interrupting them to get them to come back and finish the transaction. One of them at one point told me that I couldn't make an exchange because the person who gifted me the item used PayPal. I told him three times that that made no difference for an exchange. Then he told me he'd need all of my family member's account information to make the exchange. What kind of fraud is being run out of this place? Then another guy who I had to go get AGAIN finally figured out that they could return the item's value to a gift card then use the gift card to buy the new item. I feel that I was discriminated against because of my race. They kept giving me garbage while running off to help people of their own race. This place is a nightmare. No smiles, no questions about what I was looking for. Only rude, shady, discriminatory behavior. If you're going to try to get me to spend $1,000 on your cosmetics, you better at least provide a minimum of customer service. AVOID.

    Sadly I had a nasty experience when calling customer service at this Nordstrom Fashion Centre at Pentagon City location on Dec 9. Spoke with a woman named “Tiffany” to ask about my pickup order that was ordered from Nordstrom Rack online for pickup in the Nordstrom store. My order had been in the “preparing for pickup” stage for several days, so I contacted Nordstrom Rack and they told me it had already been delivered to the Nordstrom store 5 days ago. When I called Nordstrom and explained what was happening to Tiffany, she was immediately agitated and aggressive, saying I should expect delays in a busy holiday season, she asked me if I was even going to pick up the order today (it was 30 minutes until closing, so her comment was meant to be snarky, however I do live across the street), then asked me “have you ever thought about calling the shipping company” (as if I know what internal shipper Nordstrom uses!), then she asked me twice “what do you want me to do about it”? Is this woman serious? You have a store-to-store transfer that has gone missing and somehow this is the customer’s problem to solve, and tell the employee what to do?? I told her I would expect her to attempt to find the package or cancel my order for a refund, or give me a corporate number to call for help. She then said “you can just Google the corporate number.” I couldn’t believe my ears!! A manager must have overheard this crazy conversation because suddenly she had a change of tune, said her manager was there with her and she was going to look for the package. She asked for my order number , put me on hold, and came back to say the package was indeed missing. Her manager gave her the corporate number, which she then repeated to me, and said I could call it for the refund. What an awful way to end my day. I have worked in retail for decades and am saddened at the state of customer service these days. I’m cancelling my Nordstrom card and saying good riddance!

    Just okay. I was bothered that I had to ask the price of perfume and holiday perfume sets on display because there are no price tags. When I am shopping for gifts I prefer to see how much it costs before I get to the check out. I didn't purchase anything even though I need three gifts...I'll go to a store that respects the customer more.

    Terrible experience today. Went to a register on the third floor, sales associate was having a social conversation with a customer for nearly ten minutes without acknowledging that I was waiting. I went to the first floor to pay, and found a shoe in the sales section. Took it to the register, and the associate there disappeared in the back for 5-10 min, then came back having forgotten what he was looking for. Then discovered after another several minutes that he couldn’t find the other shoe (only one was on the rack)! Took my initial purchase over to be gift wrapped, and am now approaching 20 minutes of watching this gift being wrapped while the associates gossip. No line at gift-wrapping, the store is not busy. Really frustrating.

    In over 15 years of frequenting this location, it was the first time a sales person had ever approached me asking if I needed any help. I was looking for a specific pair of winter gloves which were out of stock, but the associate was friendly & professional. A positive attitude really goes a long way.

    Nordstrom Cafe has been a signature part of our family night on Fridays since my kiddos were 2 and 4. They are now 7 and 9....Ms. Tado and Mr. Dris have been our servers from the very beginning and are fantastic. They do everything to make sure we are taken care of. Ms. Tado knows my kids and their diet restrictions and how they like their salmon and how to bake their bread - just right! We love Nordstrom Cafe and especially, Ms. Tado ❤️...

    I had an outstanding experience with Gina at Nordstrom! Her expertise and assistance during our tux fitting made the process seamless. She provided invaluable advice and made the entire experience enjoyable for our bridal party. Highly recommend her excellent service!

    Nordstrom's is fantastic as usual. Beautiful Christmas decorations and very inviting. The staff are also friendly. One of my favorite stores.

    Lovely perfume section, I actually am not a fan of being attended for perfumes as I tend to get judged. But today Garrett attended me, made me feel welcomed & found the perfect fit to find my taste, he is a rare gem & wonderful sales rep example about how to treat customers. Appreciate you and will be back because of that experience!

    My issue here is with management. The cosmetic manager Adela is down right rude, impotent, and racist. Tried to get a job here, waited three months for a second interview for them to ghost me afterwards. Why waste my time? Called back for an update and got ahold of her. When I told her my name she lied and said she couldn’t hear me and hung up. I called again and got in contact with a beauty advisor and she lied and said that she wasn’t there. I told her that I just got off the phone with her and she changed her story, stating that she was on the floor and busy. I called some time again that week and Adela answered the phone. I knew it was her, because she was still claiming that she couldn’t here me. At that point I hung up. I understand that every job isn’t going to be meant for you, but I’m very sure that I have enough if not more qualities than the staff working there, being as though their customer service is lack luster; the only difference is that I’m a black American woman. The least they could’ve done was close my application and email that I didn’t get the job instead trying to avoid me.

    When you want to have an incredible shopping experiences go to Nordstrom. I at an event where we had such a great time on Sunday for my friend Renowned Make Up Artist launching and from the Assistant Store Manager and everyone else that was a part of planning and executing Derrick event Y'ALL are the best!! Which makes Nordstrom one of the leaders in Customer Satisfaction! Look at our smiles..Thank you Nordstrom for having us!

    This place used to have an incredible mens section, and for whatever reason, now they don't. Now, only good for accessories and colognes. NYC Nordstroms is more like how this location once was.

    I went to this Nordstrom two mornings in a row an hour after opening, both days it was a struggle to find anyone to assist with my shopping. I wandered around 2 different floors and it was a ghost town. The only place I could find anyone was the shoes, they were great and extremely helpful but struggled to get help anywhere else.

    On Oct 29, 4:30, I went to the men's shoes section looking for A. Edmonds shies. I was really desperate to find a pair for my sister's wedding. The salesperson wearing a "put me in coach" t-shirt was very rude and dismissive. I explained the desperation to find a pair by the 8. He showed indifference and stared down at my friend and me. My friend noticed it and pointed it out. I was willing to ignore it. He went to check on a pair but stopped to talk to someone. He came back and said he didn't have my size. He didn't even mention if it was possible to order them. I noticed another pair which was 300 dollars and liked the quality and asked about it. He looked like he didn't want to go look for it. As he left, he stopped to talk to a lady for a while. He finally went to look for them and came back with the same result. I was willing to pay what ever price because it's for my sister's wedding to go with an 800 dollar suit. Also...the merchandise was mostly average, besides the Over all...disappointed.

    I had 12,000.00$ cash for new dress shirts. I went to look for a textured black dress shirt and asked an associate for help. I told him that I wanted to see the texture, I didn't want the shirt to look smooth. I showed him the exact texture I wanted on a white shirt that they had. He said he had the same shirt in black and when he showed it to me, it didn't have the same texture. This was fine however, when I told him that the shirt didn't look the same to me, he told me that it's the same shirt and then told me to leave the store and try Hugo Boss a few stores down. My cash and I left, and I'm now wondering if this store doesn't like/want money. Update: After the store responded stating that I could send an e-mail to the e-mail address below to provide additional details. They replied by asking me for the store address and the original review. This data can be gathered from google. It seems as it is an attempt at the perception of good customer service. Same as in the store.

    To start off I only shop at the Tysons Corner/ Galleria location but I decided to give Nordstrom in Arlington another try and I will say my shopping experience was impeccable…I believe her name is Sara and she work at the Creed department, she’s very knowledgeable and informant, yet professional and presentable. She was such a sweetheart and very understanding and gave me a few suggestions what scent my husband would like and so I got it…I love the fact that I didn’t feel pressured to buy something when walking through creed…I would definitely shop with this young lady again.
