Overlooked by other nearby coffee shops, the Turkish Coffee Lady is a great stop along Old Town's King Street. It's spacious with plenty of seating inside. They sell pastries and Turkish treats like chocolate baklava and brew Turkish coffee and other drinks like pistachio lattes. If they are free, grab the single table out front on their porch and people watch.

A paradise for Turkish coffee gourmands! It was an amazing experience of Turkish culture in a cozy little Cafe, which is a true gem! Turkish coffee lady-Gizem, the owner, a very kind, open, friendly, welcoming lady with a down-to-earth personality.

It was my first time here and I loved how inviting, bright and cheerful the place was. They were very attentive. The coffee and cold baklava were great! You can choose the coffee with different flavors (mastic, cardamom etc) which was a nice twist to the traditional Turkish coffee. Yes, they don't make it over the stove top or hot sand and they have electric coffee makers but those coffee makers are specifically made for Turkish coffee and they do the job well. We use one at home for Turkish coffee as well. Helps with cutting down the wait time of your customers so everyone has their coffee in short time :).

Baklava is amazing and so is the coffee, many different flavors They also have drinks like salep which are hard to find. I’m glad there is another unique shop in Old Town.

Wow! What a delightful place. Alexandria trips will always include this place. It’s very well maintained and it’s clean and welcoming. The coffee is good! I haven’t been to Türkiye yet BUT I would venture a guess this certainly is any where from very well inspired to darn right the real thing. The lady’s sweets are also excellent. I had this chocolate flavored sweet item- very dangerous. Sinful. It’s all an experience.

My new favorite cafe in Old Town 😄 It's now about just a cup of coffee, but about a culture experience! I could see how much effort and work is being invested there!

I was delighted to hear there is a Turkish cafe opening near my house. It’s a cute shop with lots of nice decorations. I have tried their simit, cheese borek (savory pastry made of layered dough stuffed with cheese), chocolate milk bakhlava, black tea and pistachio latte. The lady making my latte (I believe is her name is Seher) did an awesome job. That was the best latte I’ve had in a long time. She is very friendly and welcoming. The bakhlava I mentioned above is delicious and melts in your mouth. I hope they expande and serve Turkish breakfast spread too.

This is a completely different experience from the Starbucks in Old Town. This is not a chain. It is Cozy, authentic, warm vibe. From the decorating, furniture, and light spaces, this is the place to visit. The deserts are excellent. If you don't like turkish coffee, the tea and iced lattes are on the menu. I personally love turkish coffee. This is a perfect place to meet 2-6 people or just have a nice quiet workspace for yourself.

Such a nice, calm place to just relax and have delicious traditional Turkish coffee. You gotta try their awesome pastries and Marin coffee, the flavors are absolutely phenomenal. The decor was also very admirable and gave cultural vibes. Yağmur, the barista, was lovely and friendly, she welcomed us and served us so wonderfully! Would recommend it, it’s a thumbs up worthy of your time and a nice place to try something different from everyday regular coffee. 🤗

My first time ever to a Turkish coffee shop. I ordered a traditional Turkish coffee with notes of chocolate and spice. I also ordered a pistachio baklava. They both were delicious! The coffee shop itself is very relaxing with lots of Turkish decor inside. Great place for a delicious different coffee experience!!

This place is a true "delight"! They are relatively new to Tyson's Corner Center and are in a part/hallway/wing of the mall that is easy to miss if you aren't looking carefully. They are a true diamond in a haystack though - their Turkish coffee, delights, baklava, and other offerings are quality, authentic, and made/served with care, generosity, friendliness, and warmth. The staff were all incredibly joyful from start to finish and the owner even came out to meet and greet with us. One of their staff described one of the stand's goals are creating a positive impression of Turkish culture and cuisine and they undoubtedly do that, particularly with the lack of Turkish cuisine options around the McLean area. They even were offering an event at the time for Turkish coffee fortune reading which was quite the fun experience too. Well-recommended for Turkish coffee and treats in Tyson's Corner Center!

Delicious coffee and pastries with delightful presentation. The atmosphere is lovely. The menu is limited, but what they do they do well. The only downside is that there’s no WiFi (I usually go to coffee shops to work), or else this would possibly become my new go-to in Old Town. I’ll be back anyways though, I’m sure :)

Very nice place to sit and enjoy authentic Turkish baked goods. I came for Turkish tea and Simit (= sesame seeds on Turkish bagel). Folks are actually from Istanbul, so you're getting the real thing. Plenty of Turkish souvenirs and gifts, including a wide assortment of Turkish delight boxes, traditional Evil Eye protection pendants, and signature coffees, of course.

Let's hit all the good: Beautiful shop/seating area. Coffee presentation if you're staying to enjoy it is amazing! The customer service was top notch and the street view makes for great people watching. Now, Turkish coffee isn't for everyone. Don't think just because you enjoy Starbucks that you're going to love it. But if you're a coffee connoisseur, do not skip this place. Fantastic stop!

Nice ambiance and good service. Great place to come with friends and enjoying Turkish coffee and baklava. Other bakery items are ok but not the best. Best to get baklava, Turkish delights and enjoy the coffee.

The women who run this place are so kind, generous, and sweet. The place is so cute and clean. The pastries are amazing. The Turkish bagel heated up with cream cheese is great. I could a hundred of those tiny little pistachio pastries. I wasn’t a fan of the vanilla latte. It tasted like it came from a powder at Aldi. But I’ll definitely be back for some baked goods!

First time here with my friend. Ordered baklava and Turkish delight. Both were delicious. Service was great, staff are so warm and friendly. You feel like you’re almost in Istanbul. Will definitely come back to try the hot chocolate and coffee.

This delightfully charming spot for authentic Turkish Coffees and Food. Place your order at the counter and find a cozy table to relax. The warm and attentive staff will bring your order to you. This was our first Turkish Coffee experience and we can't wait to go back. The serving was small but the flavor packed a punch. Not bitter or too sweet. Mine was Cardamom flavored which I loved. They also carry a selection of Turkish Coffee serving vessels and gifts including jewelry and decor.

very cute cafe, it brought me back memories of istanbul. very tasty pistachios latte snd turkish tea. the feta berek was delicious. she was the only person taking orders and waiting tables, so she was a bit short-handed.

I’ve been living in the area for years but this is my first time in the Turkish coffee lady cafe. I love the atmosphere. It’s so authentic and cozy. If you’re in a mood for a good coffee, you won’t be disappointed. I’ve tried the Turkish coffee with cardamom and it’s so delicious.

I really love coffee. I really love coffee shops. But this was the first time I feel like I relaxed and enjoyed myself at a coffee shop. The coffee and baklava were awesome. But the beautiful art, vases, lamps, and music were what really got me. The owner was super friendly. I’m gonna have to stop myself from coming here all the time!

Went here for the first time with my fiancée. Never had Turkish coffee before, so I’m willing to be told I’m wrong. We both ordered the traditional coffee with sugar. The place was rather busy, and they don’t yet have a system to easily identify customers. Bless the lady’s heart, she was trying to figure out who had what. Well. The lady attempted to give us the wrong order, a few times, which was an easy correction. Then we got our order but it turns out my fiancées coffee was missing the sugar. The taste difference is stark. I asked if we could get hers with sugar. It seems like the went back and stirred in some sugar, and the result was terrible. Turkish coffee’s premise is the grounds in the coffee. By stirring it up her coffee was super grainy and undrinkable. Willing to give this another go, hope it’s a smoother experience next time.

Wonderful experience. First time trying Turkish coffee and the baklava just melts in your mouth not to sweet perfect with coffee or tea.

Took my sister in law here for her birthday. I was pleased as a non coffee drinker that they had delicious Turkish apple tea! The baklava was also very delicious. They even explained the process of drinking the Turkish coffee because it was out first time. The inside is very nice and the energy is very relaxing. I will be stopping by again!

What a quiant new addition to Old Town Alexandria! Turkish Coffee Lady is a cute little cafe with limited cozy cushions and seating throughout and Turkish goods on display/for sale, including tea sets and decor. The menu is limited but that means they make good coffee. They have assorted homemade pastries and Turkish delights available as well. I really enjoyed my coffee; I asked for it sweet and it was served on the cutest platter with a complimentary Turkish delight. Highly recommend a visit.

A quintessential surprise at an unassuming location in Tysons Corner Centre. It brings forward the essence of Turkey in a beautiful way. The food is flavourful and the presentation is even better. Spinach pastry is a must have when you are here.

Full marks to the presentation. The authentication Turkish tea (a black tea) tastes authentic and good. It does have a free one refill that's not mentioned on the menu. The Turkish coffee is the real deal. Looks like it's brought to you from Istanbul. It's basically a coffee shot (a strong one) with water. The desserts are good, not sure if they are freshly made, and the hot chocolate is a little above average. Overall a good authentic experience with very reasonable prices.

This was my second time visiting the Turkish Coffee Lady. This time I actually met the owner and she couldn't of been any nicer or sweeter. On my first visit here I tried just the Turkish Coffee, which was very good, but this time expanded to try more items from the menu. On this visit I tried the spinach pastry, Turkish tea, numerous Turkish delights and baklava's. Everything was so good! I would get everything again. You really can't go wrong with anything here. The Turkish Coffee Lady is in a great location in Tysons Corner Mall and they do a great job of keeping the Area tidy. The rest of the staff couldn't of been anymore nice or professional too. I can't wait to come a third time and try even more items from the menu.
