Kareri cottages are situated at the hill top of Kareri Khas. The entry point of Kareri lake trek is approximately 2 km from this place. The vibe, location and view from this place is just amazing. This place is perfect for peaceful time with nature in day time and DJ party with friends at night. The staff was polite, and the owners were friendly. Cleanliness levels were high. Overall perfect place for the weekend. There is a net for cricket practice, a bonfire area, and a small gym too. The food was amazing. However there are few areas where I felt slight uneasiness. Not all rooms have attached bathrooms. Making things worse the common bathroom wasn't working properly. The lights of the bathroom don't have a direct switch, it works from the inside of cabin. And it should have been running on at night. The soap dispenser was filled with water but later they arranged a hand wash. I have attached pics of stairs of entry to these cottages, which isn't in best condition and is not ideal for aged people to visit this place

The cottage is beautiful with amazing view. I visited with my friends and very loveable and amazing view and chilled whether. The host is unconditionally helpful and caring and so is the staff. We loved our stay. The food quality is Great. The host goes beyond limits to help you. Amazing people. I must suggest visit at least once.❤️❤️

We had an awesome stay at kareri cottages. From the food to the service to keeping us warm and safe, the staff gave us their best! My three year old son as well as my parents need their comfort and specially in the cold weather; we had bonfires, heaters and thermal blankets to rescue. The rooms are clean and thermally insulated. The food was absolutely delicious, I haven't tasted such good grilled chicken in ages. All in all the hospitality of the staff made our day! The views from cottages are to die for!

Everything in this place is customer centric. Each and every thing from cricket pitch to gym to luxury rooms revolves around customer’s need. Clean and hygienic are few of the attributes that can explain this place. Owner has a great vision and has stunning plans to make this place even more sensational. If you visitin kareri, this is the place to stay. Be it friends or family.

We had a wonderful stay at Kareri cottages. Hospitality was super. Food was tasty. Specially parotas for morning breakfast were great. Our family enjoyed stay very much. We got a good help and advice to get to Dharamshala to see IPL match. I will strongly recommend Kareri cottages to families.

A must visit property if you are planning to visit to a place that is close to nature and peace. Rooms are well maintained and have clean washrooms. Helpful and amazing staff. Loved their hospitality. Food was amazing too. 5 stars to this place 👍🏻

Our trip to Kareri Lake was organized by Kareri Cottages. The trip was very well organized and planned to perfection. We wanted to enjoy the trek and not just reach the lake, so we decided to spend one night at mid-point and another at the lake. The trek is moderate to tough, so taking a break in between turned out to be a good idea.

Visited Kareri with my family and we all enjoyed thoroughly. The owner was very friendly, approachable and cooperative. He also took us on a trek.The staff were very respectful and also added to the experience. The service was unbelievably good as well as the food which you couldn’t fault at all. The stay was peaceful and the cherry on top was the view. Thanks to everyone at Kareri Cottages for making the trip memorable !

Kareri Cottages is a must stay place if you are visiting Dharamshala. It is 1 hr drive from Mcleodganj. This place is serene and away from the crowd. Experience best hospitality and service from the owner Amit Dewan. I stayed here in Jan'23 and I am sure planning more stays here in future. You can also do a 1 day trek to mesmerizing Kareri lake from here with guide provided by hotel. They currently have a capacity of 40 people and expanding. Cottages are very clean and surrounded by great views! PS: Cottages are bit steep down from road, so a 1 min easy walk in the muddy stairs and trek is needed.

Great place! The owner, Amit, helped us with anything we needed. The cottages were clean and cosy and they were built in a secluded part of the town which made our stay feel like we were in the nature, but with luxury cabins. There is a lot of grass around, and places to chill. In addition, we walked the Kareri Lake Trek which was organized by Amit as well. I definitely recommend this place!
