Bhujio hills are near by to city centre of bhuj. Best time to go is evening. Sunset view from bhujio Hill is very amazing. There is no shops on hills, please carry your water, eatables from city. You can see whole city from one point. There are many angles on hill for photography. There is old fort also, it is totally demolished type. There is a temple also on hill.

Bhujia Hills/Fort is named after temple of snake god Bhujanga located at hilltop. Earlier this place was fully sealed by military. Even today you can't go there late night like after evening 5-6 PM. Many trekking camps & police trainings are getting arranged here. During early morning 6 AM the hills view looks like heaven showing whole Bhuj clearly you can go for sunrise or sunset timings for beautiful views, photoshoots, pre-weddings etc. The check dam lights view is amazing. During rainy season full Of clouds, foag !! Currently stairs are not properly built so be careful while trekking it's risky !! If possible wear comfortable sports shoes. Get you water bottle snacks cameras with youhilltop, Enjoy that with family Or Metime silence nature after reaching hilltop. It's still under construction they're building giant watch etc. For trekking there are many paths so need to find good one for you.

It is a small hill that offers stunning views of the city and its surroundings. Visitors can climb to the top of the hill and explore the fort, which has several buildings, including a palace, a temple, and a mosque. The temple at the top of the hill is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and it is believed to be one of the oldest temples in the city. The temple is a beautiful example of the local architectural style, with intricate carvings and sculptures adorning its walls.

Way to sun point.. sunrise or sunset..one would enjoy at fullest.. charged with energy and enthusiasm to walk or run on ups downs to way to reach on sun ☀️😎. On way have a look at unknown (I don't know) spices of Woods, yeah it gives feel of at some point. Only thing lacking is signboards which are readable from a distance, its difficult to read until you reach nearby which boards are available.

This is one of the greatest place in Bhuj if you want to go trekking. The difficulty level of trek is very easy. The best time to go here is during golden hours. You need to take a water of bottle with you because there are so many steps to climb to reach to the top. The view from the top is amazing. It gives panoramic views of Bhuj city. You will not stop taking pictures here. It is really amazing place.

Bhujiyo Hill in Bhuj, Gujarat, offers a serene escape with breathtaking panoramic views of the city. This elevated spot charms visitors with its tranquility and scenic beauty. The climb to the top might be a bit steep, but the reward of the stunning vistas makes it worth every step. It's an ideal spot for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone seeking a peaceful retreat amidst nature's embrace.

Bhuj has been attacked six times. In two instances, the defense was successful and in four other instances, the defense failed. In 1728, an attack by Sarbuland Khan, Mughal Viceroy of Gujarat, was repulsed by Rao Deshalji I, and, in 1765 Mian Ghulam Shah Kalhoro was, by a timely display of the strength of the fortifications, induced to withdraw. During the civil troubles of the reign of the Rao Rayadhan III, Bhuj was thrice taken, by Meghji Seth in 1786, by Hansraj in 1801, and by Fateh Muhammad in 1808. On 26 March 1819, the hill fort of Bhujia was captured by a British detachment under Sir William Keir.

    (Translated by Google) The walls on Bhujia Dungar, which look as if a snake has turned on the hill, seem to be thousands of witnesses to the glorious past. From there, looking at the modern city of Bhuj shows a harmonious combination of past and present.

  • 5/5 Prakash S. 3 years ago on Google
Best season to visit is winter, isolated place. Visit only if you are hiking guy, can be spend 3 to 4 hours and take water and snack with you. There are no vendors around this place and thats a best thing. You can see 360 degree view from top and one can walk around more two tops from here. Bhujio Dungar, Bhujio Hills, Bhujio Fort are same things. About 500 metres you have to drive on dusty road ( kachcha rasta) to reach the base point. There is a small temple where you can start walking.
