We accidentally landed at this place while navigating south goa on a hired scooter. The ambience was very calm. Food was great. Authentic Goan foods. Not commercial at all. Not touristy. Extremely reasonable price. This place was the best thing that happened to us today. Owners were so nice. Staffs were superb. Highly recommended.

Prawns rawa fry and fish fry was a little oily but the kokum curry was too good

I Ordered modso thali, got single piece, I think this fish was costly. Fish curry was ok.

Visited this plate around 2:30 in the afternoon, however, the place was still crowded for lunch. It shows the popularity of the place. We ordered kingfish, chicken thalis and a plate of bombil (Bombay duck) rawa fry. The thalis were good and had small portions of sol kadi, one vegetable (raw banana), one sweet dish (vorn), one curry and one fried fish or chicken pieces accompanied with either rice or 2 chapatis. The fried bombils were not really crisp. Overall, the ambiance is just okayish as its run by a family and caters as home food. Car parking is available on the roadside.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at ROO_CHIK, and it was a delightful experience. The owner's magical touch in the kitchen is evident in every dish. The squid , mussels, and kingfish thali were not only authentic but also mouthwateringly delicious. The fact that the owner herself cooks the food adds a personal touch that sets this place apart. The ambiance is warm, and the prices are surprisingly economical for the quality and authenticity of the Goan cuisine served. I highly recommend ROO_CHIK to anyone craving an authentic Goan culinary experience. This hidden gem deserves all the recognition it can get! Highly recommended!!

Ordered a Veg Thali and a Special Prawn Thali. The food was good, but the prawns weren't up to the mark especially as it was a Special Prawn Thali. The service was good. Our server was very pleasant. Our lime soda was served without the lime but immediately rectified with apologies.

This is the best home made food available in Salcete, South Goa, Food is mouth watering having home taste., they serves meal both the time afternoon & Night too. Service is good, whoever comes here will always find so many varieties of fresh fish dishes... Highly recommend to each n every one

This restaurant offers authentic goan tasty fresh fish curry and fry very tasty and quite reasonable as far as price is concerned. one can be tried for lunch and Dinner. Hygienic , clean , homely cooked food Fish lovers should definitely try this place. The service was fast and friendly. I highly recommended it if you’re in the Wellfleet area.
